Eddy's Painting Contractors

With the exception of rain delays, the painters arrived as scheduled. I was very pleased with their job performance. I would definitely recommend them to others as they did an excellent job in all areas.

On Thursday, Eddy's son and I set up the time his father would be here to give me an estimate and he was very punctual on Monday afternoon (that was my delay due to my busy schedule). We went over the laundry list of projects that needed doing and Eddy gave me what I considered a very fair and reasonable price - below what I expected it would cost me. Then we agreed to the scheduling of the job - which was Wednesday! Wednesday morning Eddy showed up with his crew, went over exactly what had to be done and they set to work, moving furniture and pictures that needed moving, setting down drop cloths to protect my wood floors, etc. They worked very efficiently - patching and painting the yellow room and switching to other jobs while waiting for the various yellow coats to dry. At the end of the work day, they cleaned up everything and then showed up exactly on time the next morning to finish, replace furniture and do final coats on all the projects. They were done by 11:00 A.M. Great job!

Eddy's Painting Contractors did a very good job and a few extras. Cleaning the roof did cost extra but I'm not complaining. The work looked lovely and they cleaned up nicely.

I cannot say enough good things about Eddy and his workers. He came the same day we called and gave a very reasonable estimate. The work was done promptly and carefully and neatly. Eddy's company operates with an old-fashioned work ethic one rarely experiences these days. He does exactly what he promises and sees that it is done well. I highly recommend this honest, personable gentleman and his company.

I was very pleased with the entire job. Eddy was prompt, professional and helpful when he gave the estimate. During the job, he came to the site to see how the job was going and to talk over any issues that might have come up. Orlando was the person in charge of the job on site. He and his crew were a pleasure to work with each day. They came on time (or early) and worked steadily all day, they were friendly and considerate, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. They also listened and responded when I had questions or concerns.

Fantastic. Eddy is extremely professional and personable. He came to our house the same day I called for an estimate. The estimate was not the cheapest, but it was money well spent for the excellent workmanship and the customer service we received. Eddy came to our house for every concern we had, he was there when the work was being done to supervise, and he started and finished the project when he said it would be. An absolutely excellent experience in a very untrustworthy market of contractors.

They move your furniture to the center of the rooms and cover everything with plastic. They worked very efficiently. They had the entire house done in 3 days. He is excellent and he gives 10% discount for being an Angie's List member. Price is not negotiable and he's not cheap, but he does a great job.

Eddy responded within a day to our phone call, and arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time to give an estimate. He kept us well informed about the progress of the work, and he or his son stopped by almost every day that his men were working on our house. He took real pride in doing a good job, fixing EVERYTHING that affected the exterior appearance of our house. Our neighbors were very impressed! His men worked hard, and did a reasonable job of cleaning up. Eddy is very eager to maintain his high rating on Angie's List, which has brought him many new customers.

I was very satisfied with the work. He agreed to a certain schedule and kept it and did the job within days of hire. Communication is key; I would ask about some detail, and if it was within the scope of their work they would do it (or redo it), which made the pricing very reasonable. This is a very detail-oriented job, and the vast majority of details came out very well. The job greatly improved the appearance and marketability of my townhouse, which I then sold quickly in a tough market (given realistic pricing).

Eddy is very reliable, courteous and friendly. He is very particular about his work which is very refreshing. At one point, there were some areas on the house and security bars that he wasn't happy with when the job was completed. He spent extra time correcting the problems until he was satisfied. He painted my window casings a silver color at no additional cost to me. I'm very satisfied with the job and would highly recommend him and his company.

They did an excellent job from start to finish. The primary painter, Manny, was more conscientious about his work than I was. There were absolutely no problems and they did exactly what they said they would do.

Did a great job. Helped select colors. Easy and prompt scheduling of work. Work crew (4) showed up on time. Moved furniture, etc. I thought they did an excellent job. Also recommended by my neighbors who have known them for years. Not cheap, but worth it.

Exceeded expectations. Perfect! Eddy is an extremely competent, knowledgeable, hands-on contractor. Eddy and his crew, at all times, were professional, prompt, and polite. Eddy was helpful and patient during the color selection process. The Bahama shutters were in poor condition and I thought I would have to replace them. Eddy's crew scraped and painted the shutters so well, I'm still surprised they are the same shutters! I really could not have had a better experience. From start to finish, I have zero complaints and I'm truly satisfied.

They are very decent and professional people, were always on time and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them.

Eddy did an excellent job painting the outside of my house. He did the job, at a fair price and cleaned up well. I called him to paint the interior of my home and he said he had a family crisis and hasn't returned my calls. I wanted him to comeback, but went through Angie's List, to find someone else for the interior painting.

Excellent progress. Weather was good and job completed in a week. Worked on the weekend for primers and repairs. At one point, I was unhappy with one of colors. No problem and no extra charge for painting over first coat of wrong color (front porch).

Eddy was very prompt, courteous and friendly. His workers were the same. They completed the job in a very timely manner and were very polite. We are 100% satisfied with the job that was done, and my husband is very particular as he is an artist!

Eddy and his crew were always here at the appointed times. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Gentleman came in and the first thing he did was to criticize the removal of the popcorn and the knockdown that was done by another company. He then informed me he could have done that type of work. He continued to criticize the paint on my walls that was done several years ago. His price was so-so, but his demeanor was something I did not appreciate. You do not walk into someone's home and criticize work that was performed by someone else. It was totally unprofessional. The work performed by the other company was done to my total satisfaction. He would not even consider giving me a break on the price and honestly, I would not hire him because of his demeanor.

Eddy is just lovely and his crew showed up always on time, worked all day, and cleaned up after themselves, every evening. Eddy carefully pointed out areas of concern, including some areas where we appeared to have minor roof leaks (we were not as satisfied with the roofers as we were with Eddy!). His crew adapted their pace and areas of work so that we could have the minor leaks repaired. They also replaced all the damaged or rotten wood as part of their overall price. The sealing of our roof tiles with caulking material was a really unique (and time consuming) aspect of Eddy's work. This procedure helps make a smoother roof surface. In addition to making your roof a bit more water tight at the tiles, it decreases the resistive surface on the roof so the roof may fare better during a hurricane. This option added to make the cost shown higher than what might have been expected for a home of our size. It is labor intensive. We thought it was worth it, even if an expensive option.

They did an excellent job. I picked the wrong color and Eddy was more then happy to change it for me. He met with me one morning so he could mix the color and apply it to the house and I could see it right then and decide. The removal of the hurricane shutter tracks were a very hard and time comsuming job but Eddy did it without charging me. I got 3 different estimates and his was the most reasonable for the work that was done. They did a great job and I would recommend them to ANYONE.

I liked Eddy. I might just go with him without interviewing the others. Already, he's punctual and professional, which is a good sign.

Eddy Lopez was very responsive, pleasant, and on time for each appointment. Gave a reasonable (to me) estimate and billed me for that exact amount. His crew of tur were always on time each day and were all very professional and polite. They cleaned up each day before they left. Took two and one half days to complete the job. I'm very pleased with the results and the manner in which the work was performed.
