They were terrific. The estimate was prompt and very detailed and informative, and they got to work quickly. They were extremely thorough and professional, and great at keeping in touch about progress. They even pressure-cleaned our front porch and back patio, and our patio furniture and back gate while they were at it. The paint job looks beautiful and was done with great care and attention to detail--like I would have done it myself if I'd had the time and expertise. They have also been great at following through afterwards, e.g. they came back to retouch some paint that was messed up by splattering rain shortly after they finished, and they even got us in touch with a good guttering company to fix our gutters so that the house would stay nice-looking. They are a great source of professional knowledge as well as doing excellent work. I wish all contractors were like this to work with.

He answered the phone himself, and gave me a very quick ballpark estimate. He was not overly friendly or helpful, and did not give me any details. I read a report that made him seem unprofessional and critical. I will go with a company with a better attitude, a better estimate, and that seems more interested in getting my business.

It was a nightmare. I want to stop my membership to Angie's list immediately. I think your organization is being taken advantage of by companies who see a perfect opportunity to swindle the public. Please stop charging me for a membership that has become obsolete because of companies like Eddy's Painting contractors.

The experience was positive. Painters arrived promptly each morning and checked with me if they had a question. Management came every day to check the quality of the work. They were eager to please and wanted to know if there was anything that should be done or corrected. They can come back anytime to paint. The work is excellent and the workers were pleasant and friendly and eager to please. The clean up left a lot to be desired. They need to carry a dust pan and broom All in all I am extremely pleased and would recommend them to all and I would want them back if I needed another paint job

Eddy was great to deal with, from our initial walk around in which he pointed out things that ought to be done and gave a detailed written estimate. He left a large color palate with us, helped us choose a final color, (which we took weeks to choose as it was over the holidays). This ultimately included his drive with my wife in our neighborhood to two houses that we liked and speaking with the owners to tell them he wanted to take a few minutes using the color palate to match exterior and trim colors on their house. He painted swaths of the 3 favorite colors and at our request, darkened our favorite one slightly because we wanted more contrast with the trim color. His 3-4 men worked very fast and the there was always one man among them who could speak enough English to understand us. I noticed from the other comments and from our job, that Eddy always finds one or two things he wants to do that he didn't contract for and doesn't ask you to pay for, this helps you feel you are getting more than your money's worth.

Very professional from beginning to end. Called Eddy, he came that day and emailed me a complete and thorough proposal, outlining everything that was included. My house was in bad need of a painting and they did an outstanding job. Showed up on time every day and worked until they finished. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately and completely to my satisfaction.

Eddy senior called me back promptly. Eddy junior followed up to schedule appt. He was very thorough with explanations of the company's standards and work product. He ensured we were very clear on the expectations and exactly what needed to be done. He provided me a comprehensive estimate that same day via e-mail, and started work just 3 days later. He and his crew were very professional and did great work, from touching up baseboards and areas that needed new coats of paint, to matching and installing new baseboards and door frames where needed. Eddy did not pressure or "sell" us on doing anything we didn't need to do, and was very interested in making sure we were happy customers. He came back and re-painted front door when we didn't like the original finish we selected, and was always prompt in responding and getting all of the work done. The work was high quality and met our high expectations.

I received a quote from Mr. Lopez that was way high on both pressure washing and painting in comparing it to other bids. He was the highest. I emailed him to give him an opportunity to lower his price but never heard from him.

They were punctual. They called back and came out when they said would. Their estimate was off the charts and therefore I did no use them. He said the price wouldn't even cover the screen repair if they were damaged.

I initially contacted Eddy for an estimate which he gave and I decided to go with another painter primarily because of the price. I soon found out that there was no excuse for quality as I had so terminated the initial painter. I called Eddy and explained the situation to him - he had no hard feelings whatsoever and came over to walk the property with me again. He began work within 1 day of our agreement and I quickly found out there was no excuse for experience. Eddy was able to restore my home within a week and even threw in a few extras that came up on the job just to make me happy. I am grateful and thankful there are people that value their workmanship like Eddy and it was an expensive lesson, but I quickly learned to trust Angie's List which I think is becoming one of the only place for real references. Thanks Angie and Eddie for restoring my home.

They were excellent. I would hire them again. They knew what they were doing. They were courteous and careful not to get paint all over. They got us scheduled fairly quickly. The price was exact to the estimate.

It was Sunday afternoon and I hoped to organize the complete painting of my condo by Thursday. Having just moved to the area, I needed a recommendation and I tried Angie's List for the first time after seeing their TV Ads. I chose the most highly recommended company and gave them a call. It was Sunday, I left a message but did not hold out much hope for a call back - and therefore was very surprised and grateful to receive a call from Eddy Lopez that afternoon. He agreed to meet me at 5:30 pm that Sunday at the condo to give me a quote. Eddy made a lovely first impression. He was on time, well dressed and kind. As he moved through my condo, he quickly observed many challenges or imperfections that he would correct. His quote was fair and despite a full load of work, he was able to organize his team to start the next morning and promised to finish on time. Eddy lead his crew the next morning, on time and they began by taking great care to protect the new wood floors I had just installed. I felt completely comfortable having Eddy and his son and crew work independently through the week until they were finished, on time on Thursday. Their work was masterful. Having given them so many colors to work with, we had the challenge of colors meeting colors in the corners and the lines were perfect. The baseboards finished perfectly and all the rough spots and dings on the walls were sanded down and fixed. I had forgotten to bring a color for the bathrooms and Eddy helped choose one from the paint samples and took care of finding and mixing the paint to the proper shade. The condo has many dimensions with soffits and Eddy made good recommendations on how to handle the colors on the various surfaces. Above and beyond the paint job, Eddy assisted with some other problems including a broken exhaust hose from the clothes dryer, he fixed a closet door which was off the track and I was able to call him to get the size of the air conditioning filter while I was at a home improvement store picking up supplies. Eddy loves his profession, takes great pride in his work and is determined to have a satisfied customer. I would not hesitate to recommend his company to anyone. He will satisfy the most demanding customer, and with a smile.

It was a refreshingly positive experience. From the initial meeting to the final result, Eddy and Eddy, Jr. were conscientious and willing to work with my schedule. Eddy provided some guidance as far as some aesthetic questions I had. The house is over 60 years old and short of having the house re-stuccoed, the patching work was well done. The painting was done well, no sloppy inside corners or overspray. They provided a surprising attention to small details. The house looks great and I could not be more pleased. Their price was reasonable and would use them again when needed and highly recommend their services.

Eddy is great. Very nice person. Very good quality work. His staff was friendly and treated the house well. They cleaned up each day and set up fresh each day. They kept doors closed and secured when not using and always was respectful for the expensive furniture.

Mr. Lopez arrived promptly to look at everything we needed to have done. His quote covered things we needed done, but we would not have thought of. His work crew arrived when scheduled, and cleaned up each day. They were polite and friendly. Mr. Lopez has (I think) 2 or 3 workcrews, and personally supervises them. Bonus points for my spouse's approval of all the work, and satisfaction with the way our home looks. We believe we got a lot of work done on our home. Also important to me--both Mr. Lopez Sr, and Mr. Lopez Jr. were pleasant to work with. We know who to call when we need painting!

They are wonderful. I interviewed 3 people from the list, and the choice came down to personality.

Eddy R. Lopez was the one who did work. The work was just finished and so far so good. I found no fault with him at all. His prices were in the middle with other companies'. Everything looks fine and work went okay. It was a pleasure working with him. I would hire him again.

Eddy showed up on time for the estimate (actually called that he was running 10 minutes late). Wrote out whole job description and estimate. Planned start of job for one week after our ok and showed up exactly as promised with his staff of two to start the job. Quality of paint job was excellent and actually included many things I had forgotten to ask about such as painting the gutters. Very neat work. Moved and covered everything and moved it back when finished. Very nice, reliable and trustworthy painters.

I'm very pleased with the entire experience. Eddy is extremely knowledgeable about his business and helped me choose a color that perfectly matched my new carpet and tile. He explained exactly what work would be performed including filling and patching holes in the walls, moving and covering furniture, using one coat of paint on the ceilings and 2 on the walls. He gave me an estimate for the work that I thought was very fair and scheduled the work at my convenience. The work was done in the time allowed. A few days later I noticed a few places where there were splatters or where the paint needed touching up. I called Eddy and he sent someone the very next day to fix everything to my satisfaction. A friend of mine who is a contractor in central Florida saw the job afterward and said it was very professional and I got my money's worth.

Eddy returned our initial call immediately and came within 24 hours and gave us a price. We agreed on a date and they came on that date as requested. We went away while the painting was being done and when we came back everything was in perfect order. Everything looked like new and the place was left very neat and tidy. We got daily reports by phone as to the progress. It took 2 men 4 days to complete the job with Eddy supervising it. We are very satisfied with the work.

Eddy was professional throughout. He was punctual for the estimate, and was able to work us into his schedule only a few days later. The entire job took only 6 days, start to finish. The members of his crew were hardworking and professional, and Eddy was here every day at least once to check on their progress and get feedback from me. Eddy took the time to go over every inch of the house, noting problems that needed attention, and recommending options for addressing them. He approached the entire project with an impressive perfectionism, as if he were doing the job on his own home. He even cleaned up paint splatters that had been left on the unsealed saltillo tile floor from previous painters. It was refreshing to have found someone as honest, reliable and thorough as Eddy, and I will definitely be calling him for other work in the future. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

They were very responsive, extremely helpful. We handled the entire project long distance by phone. We left them to pick the paint color and they even coordinated the installation of window blinds through one of their contacts. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the project and would highly recommend Eddy senior and Eddy junior.
