I am very satisfied with the quality of service and the work done. Eddy personally handled all details and showed me exactly what would be done prior to starting, as well as contacting me daily to keep me updated. The entire 1 story house was cleaned, scraped and sanded where necessary and painted in about 3 1/2 work days. The house had not been painted in about 12 years, so some extra prep was required. The painters were also professional. Eddy insisted on a final walk around inspection together prior to final payment. The price was competitive and I would be pleased to use him again.

The job went extremely well. The crews showed up on time every day, were very polite and did excellent work!!!!!! Eddy Sr. stopped by every day to ask how it was going and deal with any of our concerns. The price was very fair, and the owners, Eddy Jr. and Eddy Sr. were a joy to deal with. I would highly recommend them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eddy's Painting Contractors did excellent work on our house. Even though it was a small job, Eddy (junior) was extremely professional, friendly, and conscientious. He came out to give an estimate -which we found reasonable- very quickly. He explained the limits of the concrete repair and was very responsive to our questions. He was able to accommodate our schedule, and the work was completed in one day. He called that evening to ensure we were entirely satisfied with the results. We will definitely call Eddy again for any additional work of this type.

Eddy responded promptly to my message asking for a quote. I waited only a couple of days for the job to be done. His employees were thoughtful, friendly and professional in their work. My roof (which was black with mold and dirt) is now a dazzling white again. When the job was done, I could see that there was a missing piece of cement under one tile at the top of the house. Eddy agreed to send someone to fix it (at no additional cost to us) even though our roof was so black beforehand, there was no way I could know if it was damaged by the pressure cleaning or not. The cement patch makes the roof look so much better now. It was a pleasure working with Eddy and I am very happy with us work. I will use his company in the future.

Incredible! Called him short notice, he came out looked at my issues. gave me a quote. I ok'd it right away as it was an emergency. He came out the next morning with his crew and got the whole job done same day!! He did what he said he would do and when! He was also easy to contact!

We did a complete renovation of a duplex. Eddy and his crew were great. One unit needed interior trim/doors painted, the other a lot of plaster and prep work. Then full interior and exterior painting. They were very accommodating with our schedule, and a few things that we added on were not charged for. Always on time, Eddy was always available to contact with any issues. May not be the lowest bid but does great work, especially in the prep! Would hire again for sure.

Eddy was very friendly, professional, flexible and conscientious. His price was on the low end but the work was as promised and much more! His employees were very hard working and thorough (in the hot sun) - and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. The work time was as promised - no dragging things out with no shows. The house looks amazing (this was long overdue). I'm so glad we found Eddy on Angie's List. You won't regret selecting him! He does gutters too and are going to have him do those as well - knowing what to expect. He is very trustworthy.

Eddy was very friendly and professional. He was prompt for giving estimate. We chose them because of good reviews and because they also did wood repair work. They removed rotten wood from a side shed that housed our pump and softener and replaced it with a sturdier substance that should last long. The repair work looks very good. We asked Eddy if he knew anyone that could repair a couple of old red bricks surrounding our front porch that had been broken for years. He said, "we can handle that". The next morning they were replaced and set in with concrete. As an afterthought we asked them to seal our stamped concrete patio, which they did at no extra cost to our original estimate because he had part of a can left from a previous job . We had our window frames repainted to look like new. They are beautiful. That was one of the pricier aspects of the job, but when you averaged everything out we felt that it was all very reasonable. The house looks beautiful and I don't think anyone else would have done a better job. They cleaned everything up and even removed and hauled away an old pole that had held an old satellite dish. We would recommend Eddy's Painting to anyone, and may call them again in the future for inside work.

The workers were very efficient, the job was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves.

Mr. Lopez assisted with color recommendations, answered other related repair questions and made frequent supervisory visits throughout the process. We were so pleased with how the job was progressing that In addition to their routine crack patching, prep and painting, we asked that Mr. Lopez replace the front entry door, re-surface the pool deck, paint the garage and utility room floors and apply a protective coating guaranteed for 50 years to the roof. The highest quality paint and a long lasting exterior sealant were used. The house and yard were left clean and orderly and the total cost was extremely fair. Everything looks great. We highly recommend Eddy's Painting Contractors, Inc. and would not hesitate to contact them again.

Eddy was prompt and even called when traffic held him up. He saw all that had to be done, and gave me an estimate that I felt was reasonable. To top it off, Eddy senior (that's who I dealt with) was just lovely! Such a nice man! I could tell that he really cares about what he does. Everything went extremely well, and when it didn't, Eddy came right away to assess the situation, and fix it. (the deck did not take the seal well, so he brought his guys back the next day and they put another coat, no charge). To me, when a company goes the extra mile, that means a lot. This company is one in a million, and I will use them again whenever I have the need. Plus it will be great to see Eddy again!

First off, I have to emphasize that it was extremely painless to get in touch with Eddy. If I did not reach him in one phone call, he always returned my call in a timely manner. In December 2012, I asked for an estimate for the painting of my house in Coral Gables. It is an Old Spanish house with many cracks. At the same time I was in the process of having the windows replaced. Within 48 hrs Eddy emailed me the estimate with the 10% Angie's list discount. I explained at that time that I was not certain of the start date because it all depended on when the windows replacement would be completed. Eddy reassured me that I could call him whenever I was ready. We did not start until one week ago, four months later, because I had to wait for the windows replacement to be completed and pass inspection. Even though we had to wait 4 months, Eddy still remembered me and honored the estimate. This is something I very much appreciated. Once we met again, signed the contract and paid the 40% deposit, work began 4 days later. I was informed of when the crew would come. They were very punctual. It took a week. We had some delays because of rainy days. The rain washed out some fresh paint onto my windows which Eddy had the crew cleaned up when all was done. He had my mailbox painted also (not in the original agreement) so that all would match well. Quality, efficiency, professionalism, reasonable pricing and plain honest work are what set Eddy's company apart fom the rest. Those are qualities not easily found in complete combination when evaluating home improvement companies in Miami. Of note, I have other estimates from Eddy for other painting projects with which I intend to proceed, when ready.

I got several estimates for this job and frankly they were all over the place. Eddy was not the lowest bid, but he was very knowledgable and took the time to walk through the entire project including small interior spot painting and repair of some plaster. He suggested certain changes which would have a long term impact on the looks of the house and he seemed truly interested in getting me a good outcome. He had several projects underway and while I had a deadline 6 weeks out, he told me they could meet that deadline, and they did. I was stunned at the amount of preparation work, pressure cleaning (including a wooden fence which was really great) removing the peeling paint patching sealing and finally painting. It seemed like they truly worked to make every aspect of the house perfect. The interior work was the same thorough professionalism and both Eddy(s) father and son went out of their way to assist me in making the interior look as perect as the exterior. No detail was too small. I had the paint on hand for the interior, but it turned out that one color was a shade off and Eddy senior mixed my existing paint matching the color and painted the area perfectly. They did a wonderful job and I am recommending them to anyone who needs painting.

Eddy did a very thorough and professional job and provided the most comprehensive estimate I have ever received on any job. I am very pleased with how my home looks and would not hesitate to do business with him again in the future. His isn't the cheapest company in town, but the quality and attention to detail is well worth the price.

On time, actually early, for initial quote. and accommodating. Finished ahead of schedule. did two apartments all walls, windows, doors and trim. He worked around our schedule. very good

What a wonderful Company!!! I am so happy that we found Eddy's company on Angie's List. It was the first professional company that we have dealt with for a while, that actually goes the extra mile (actually- the extra 50 miles) to please its' customers! What a refreshing experience. I was born and raised in Miami (almost 50 years) and have had many experiences with various contractors throughout my life. We decided to subscribe to Angie's List after having dealt with many unprofessional sub-contractors who performed work at our home under a General Contractor who we hired to renovate our home and it paid off. We wanted to ensure that the company who was going to perform work had excellent recommendations from its' customers. I reviewed several paining contractor's ratings and customer commentaries on Angie's List, and as a result of seeing that Eddy's company had the best reviews- I can see why they have the wonderful reviews- they really deserve them. I called them to provide us with an estimate to paint the exterior of our home. Eddy answered the phone right away, and scheduled to come out to our home that very same afternoon. When he arrived, we conducted a very thorough walk-thru pointing out all of the details of the extra work he would include- such as painting our driveway, the surrounding walls of the home, and pressure-cleaning and removing stucco from our pool deck (which was in horrible shape- due to the recent remodeling) and smoothing out some of the exterior walls that were in pretty-bad shape (existing plaster work was pretty bad). Eddy pulled and paid for the permit right away, once we decided on the paint colors of the home. We met on December 28th, and we could not believe it, but Eddy's crew came out to begin the work at our home on December 31st!! They also worked on January 1st! Eddy's team were on the job everyday at 7:30-8:00 a.m.- like clock-work. Every morning the two foreman (veteran painters who have worked for the company for about 30-40 years- on average met with the other painters to review the details of the work to be undertaken each day). The crew worked 8 hours everyday with a break for lunch- they had their lunch outside by their truck. Eddy did not take any short-cuts. His crew was dedicated over a week to to our project and at the end, he asked us to conduct a walk-thru to inspect the job. Everything was completed to excellence. They first pressure-cleaned (power-washed) all of the exterior of the home, the driveway, all of the walls (perimeter of the home) and all of the sidewalks encircling the home (I was surprised as that was not discussed). They also pressure-cleaned our pool patio deck and screen enclosure frame (that was not discussed) and painstakingly removed stucco that was stuck for months on the pool deck - that was not easy- but they left the pool deck looking really clean. They cauked all of the exterior of the home, ensuring that all holes were filled. They did a great job. This home has a lot of windows and doors and we checked that all were caulked. They also inspected all of the wood (fascia) and trims in the home and used wood filler as needed and removed nails and screws that were unused all over the exterior of the home. They also repaired a portion of the ceiling in the pool deck that had a huge crack in it. Actually, they brought some wood as well to fix the base of the front porch columns that were in bad shape (that was was not even requested!). The crew really invested a great amount of time smoothing out and applying plaster in some portions of the exterior walls that were in bad shape. They kept at it until the walls looked as smooth as possible. When they applied the sealer and paint, the crew took great care to protect the landscaping, deck, and porch from any spills or stains. When they painted the driveway, they had to apply three coats, because the driveway was in pretty bad shape as well. They did not leave the premises until all of the detail work was completed. The crew was extremely professional and courteous and really went out of their way to please us with any small and extremely detailed request that we made. We are so pleased with Eddy's company that we are going to hire them to repaint some of the interior of the home (was painted less than a year ago with another contractor). They are worth every dime!! Thanks Eddy for making your customers feel special! You helped us to believe again that there are good and conscientious people out there that take pride in their work. :)

Entire experience was very easy and efficient from start to finish. I was a little worried about all the exterior light fixtures and getting paint on our brand new roof tile but Eddy?s crew took really great care to tape off everything and I have no complaints about overspray. Crew was polite, responsive, and had excellent attention to detail, especially taking care of extra patch work here and there. I was most impressed that they even went out of their way to buy us new garage vent covers when they saw that ours were missing, at no cost. I came home after work and it looked like I was pulling up to a new house. Thanks Eddy and crew! You have my recommendation to anyone needing new paint!

Eddy talks the talk but does not walk the walk. The house looked nice for about 4 months after he was done, then things started to appear. Exterior paint started to peel on some walls that were exposed and others that were under the overhang terrace in the back. The paint on the wood under the overhang ceiling started to peel after about 6 months to the point that it looked better before we painted than after. The wood under the facia board on the front of the house also looked worse six months after than it did before he painted it. It seems as if it was never primed and the wood absorbed all the paint. It was horrible and a total waste. They spray painted everything which leads me to believe that they must have watered down the paint and therefore was not effective. I would never recommend them to anyone. In the inside, the doors he painted started to peel almost immediately. After they left there were spots all over the house. They were fast but did not pay attention to detail. The living room ceiling left a lot to desire We repainted the house several years later, and after seeing how this second painter worked and his attention to detail did I realize what a sloppy job Eddy's people did. In short, Eddy talks a lot about how professional he is, and how he's been in the business for so long, but falls short on all his talk. When someone has to tell you they are professional, beware. Also, he loves to hit on younger women, so don't think your special if he hits on you.

I am the Executor to an Estate home in Coral Gables, where I discovered a leak in one of the bedrooms. Assuming it was a plumbing issue, I immediately called a plumber. After investigation, the plumber concluded the issue was not a plumbing problem but possibly a roof leak. Eddy's Painting Contractors had recently done a major over-haul on my home, so not knowing who to call for roof work, I called Eddy Sr. for a referral. Eddy Sr. offerred to inspect the damage and confirmed there was a roof leak. I was delighted when Eddy Sr. told me that his Team could fix the leak and associated problems, which they did. The job was finished quickly and professionally and now the home is ready for its new owner! This was my second time dealing with Eddy's Painting Contractors and the experience was just as good as the first time! Eddy Sr. is now my 'go-to-guy' for any and all issues regarding my home.
