Description of Work: Rita decorated and helped reorder our newly reconstructed interior, including the kitchen, living areas and master bedroom/bath. Furniture was refurbished and purchased, walls were painted and the finishing touches were added. I loved Rita's style so much it spilled over to my closet where she helped refine and define my wardrobe. Rita is as professional and class as she is friendly and down to earth. Description of Work: I was looking to refurbish the social areas and guest bedroom of our penthouse at Deering Bay, but after visiting several high-end commercial designers, I realized their purpose was mainly to sell furniture. I was however shooting for more than that: I wanted a complete makeover! After a previous renovation experience, my husband and I expected transparency and honesty as well as creativity. Rita provided a straightforward letter of agreement that addressed our concerns. Every week, we would receive an updated spreadsheet to help keep track of all expenses. During her first visit, she managed to grasp my intentions with amazing clarity. She initially submitted a creative concept and followed up with color boards and drawings that helped us visualize the end results. Upon our approval, she moved forward with purchases and contracting work, which she supervised from start to finish, in our absence. The project was completed within budget and on schedule and exceeded our expectations!
