We were scheduled promptly for an appointment and received a call alerting us to a change in time. Decinob Paul came when he said he would and worked hard to get our priorities completed . All was done well and the additional charge was quite fair.
Description of Work: Repaired two leaky toilets; connected a laundry room sink, rebuilt one toilet tank.

 + 0 moreThe job was complicated by the fact that the toilet was installed under a counter top that did not allow access to the tank. I contacted Paul by phone and set up an appointment. He was punctual and was able to do the job when he first came out. He had to remove the toilet from the floor, and quickly obtained the needed parts and he and his helper has all done in less than a couple of hours. Not only was the job well done, but Paul was personable and pleasant to work with. Would recommend without hesitation. P.S. this was my first experience with Angie's List.

Description of Work: I'm reluctant to give these guys a great review because everyone else will use them and they'll become too busy to help me out in the future! A tenant in a rental home called with a drain problem. I called D Paul and they were over there a few hours later with the drain line cleared. They diagnosed the problem and that will allow me to make future repairs (yes, I will use them!). Fast, fair and reasonable plumbers. They are my first choice.

 + 0 moreThe experience with Paul was phenomenal ! My mother and I were astounded by the thoroughness and persistence of this professional. One half of the large house's drainage system was clogged after years of ignoring the "glub glub glubs" heard while taking showers. He stayed up on that roof for 3 HOURS, rooting out the problems from all the different drains, all for his pre-quoted price of $ 165. Paul came right after we called him in the late afternoon, drove one hour in rush hour traffic to get here, and did not charge us for same day service, long distance, or the extra hours. I shudder to think what Roto Rooter would have charged ! This guy is the real deal- he truly lives up the accolades that are posted about him on Angie's List. I don't think he can be matched for price, quality, or courteousness.

 + 0 moreI have had this plumber promise he will come for 3 leaks under sinks and to replace 2 gas stoves at my investment property 3 times, then not show up. He made an appointment, didnt show, made another appointment, then called to reschedule at the last moment, then didn't show up for the reschedule. HE is competent, but he seems to blow-off appointments when a bigger job comes along. I gave him a decent review the first time, but since then I guess he became unreliable. I am still looking for a reliable plumber!

 + -1 moreHe came the same day I called and even went to Home Depot to get the piece that needed to be replaced. Once he fixed the shower handle he noticed that the shower head wasn't getting much pressure. He offered to come back free of charge to replace the shower head. I ordered a new shower head and the same day I called him to tell him it was in was the same day he came out and replaced the shower head. It is hard to find someone who is reliable in Miami and I am grateful that I found him. He clearly knows what he is doing and was fair and honest
Description of Work: Will absolutely use again. I was having trouble with getting hot water in my shower. Called DPaul who informed me that the problem was not my water heater but a piece that needed to be replaced in the shower handle.

 + -1 moreIt went ok, but I have called him for projects since, and he has not shown up 2 different times - the first time without calling, then rescheduling, and cancelling the reschedule at the last moment...and then saying he will come again, and then not showing up. Then I remembered that when I called about the hot water heater he told me that he was coming to me instead of going somewhere else he had promised to go. The hot water heater is ok, but I am still looking for a plumber who shows up when he says he will.

They were a little difficult to understand because they have a foreign accent, but we kind of got through that and he was very good. I used an Angie's List coupon and they charged me about an extra $50, but the price was very fair.

 + -1 moreWent very well and he is coming to evaluate a "non emergency" issue, completely unrelated, later today.
Description of Work: Replumbed the main lines for the Master bathroom (toilet, sink, tub) underneath the house in a restricted area crawl space. Severl other contractors had looked at the job and quoted higher prices and were not as thorough in their analysis of the problem. Everyone else was suggesting replumbing the PCV pipes (which had separated) into the existing cast iron main line to the septic tank. DPaul put a level on the cast iron line into the final line and said it too was a problem due to having a negative pitch ... it was backing up. He recommended removing everything from the final cast iron pipe into the septic ... and making sure everything had the necessary pitch for everything to flow properly. Analyzed the problem, came up with a recommended course of action, provided a price, we agreed, and he did the job immediately.

 + 0 moreIt all worked out very well and I'm quite pleased with the result. A lot of good work was accomplished by Paul over the course of the day. and at a reasonable price. I would definitely use his services again.
Description of Work: Paul removed two old toilets and two old vanities and installed two new toilets and two new vanities. Paul did an excellent job at a reasonable price. He is highly skilled at plumbing, courteous, and very pleasant to deal with. We worked together on the task of replacing the two old vanities because the original tiling in the two bathrooms was not completed under the old vanities. This created a problem because the footprint of the new vanities differs from the footprint of the old ones. This necessitated a quick bit of tile work performed by me, the owner, in conjunction with Paul's work in installing the vanities.

 + -1 moreI called around to find a competitive price to replace a worn out wax ring on the toilet. DPaul's was the best price - by far. I expected to wait for an appointment, but Paul (the owner) came out within the hour, and did the job very quickly and professionally. I am very neat, and he cleaned up the area that got messy very much to my satisfaction. I would totally recommend using him and will use him myself, should the need ever arise.
Description of Work: Toilet was leaking due to an old/faulty wax ring. Paul (the owner) came out right away and replaced it and tightened up some other leaky connections.

Description of Work: When I called Paul to come and unclog my drain this morning he was already on a job but said that he would come when it was over. Not only did he come over, but he called first and gave me an estimate over the phone. When he arrived, he promptly got to work, did the job and also changed a 1/2" hose thing-a-ma-jiggy all for the beautiful price of $185.00. Not only do I recommend Paul highly, but I will use him again.

He is knowledgeable, corteous and on time. He picks up the phone every time and shows up when he says he will. His rates are very affordable and will work with your budget if he can. His company is all you hope for when you hire a plumber. No matter how big the job is look no further and contact him with confidence. We passed all our inspections like a breeze and we know that should something happen he will be there for us.
