Run for the Hills! Buyer BEWARE... They LIE.... Awful Service... Awful Everything... No Accountability! I purchased laminate flooring... signed a contract... so much initialing.. now I know why. You sign are ALL your RIGHTS away!! Never finished their defective installation job... finally came back "7" months later after numerous correspondence(s). Worst communication.. if you want stress, anxiety and aggravation in your life... sign away! But I WARNED YOU! You will never recover your money no matter how bad the job comes out!

Looks great but when my handyman/carpenter came out to tack/glue down a transition stripe that had popped up. He said it was MDF which is the absolutely cheapest stuff one could use plus the moisture barrier was improperly installed, not placed to the edge he said he should be able to see it. When I used Dolphin I did not know they used subcontractors. The sales person was nice, of course. Then when the installer came he said his helper called in sick and he would do it himself. Should have know then he was going to cut corners but he showed at 9am and at 630pm I said you have to leave had to go out but he wanted to stay. I was moving in and not a lot of lighting. Had to call the boss to get him to come back the next day needless to say he wasn't not happy. definitely paid by the job. Hope the moisture barrier was installed properly.

It's no fun to empty and move furniture and cabinets filled with china, etc., plus a piano to another room while the rowk was done, and move it all back. We selected a wood or two that we thought would match our furniture of several different wood and stain types. Seeing what we selected, the salesman came to the house with samples, plus a couple of other he thought might be as good as the ones we selected. As it turned out, one of the ones he brought was better than any we had chosen. There was a wait for the flooring to be delivered, about a week, and they set dates for installation. Remove carpeting and prepare the flor one day, leaving coating with bad small (they warned us) overnight. Returned and it took two days to lay the wood flooring. All was expertly done.
Description of Work: Remove carpet from living room and adjoining dining room and replace with hardwood floors. Terraszo underneath.

We purchased a little over 1800sq ft and was told that a third party delivery company (at a charge) would deliver the tiles. We were told that the delivery company had the proper equipment to deliver the tiles (forklift). At the time of delivery the WRONG tile was delivered and the third-party was unable to bring the tile into the home. It was left on the drive way of the house. The following day the same delivery company brought the proper equipment to pick up the wrong tile, which was brought into the home by my installers to prevent damage or theft; however, the delivery company declined to bring in the correct tile into the home, again leaving the tile on the driveway. The delivery company said that he was instructed by Dolphin Carpet & Tile to leave the tile outside. Due to Dolphin Carpet and their delivery company’s lack of attention and improper equipment, our workers were delayed 2.5 hours on Tuesday to bring in the incorrect tile from the driveway and delayed an additional 6 hours on Wednesday when the correct tile was delivered only to be left outside again. When we called for assistance, our salesperson was unwilling to provide us with options to correct this and expressed no wrong doing. It is obvious that Customer Service is not encouraged or fostered and we are extremely disappointed with Dolphin Carpet. When asked to speak to a manager to have the tiles properly delivered inside the home, we were told that no manager was available. I then requested to have any local manager or warehouse manager call me before close of business to resolve this matter. Compensation for the cost of delivery is the LEAST Dolphin Carpet should offer to correct this error and loss of time, they refused. We don't recommend purchasing or referring clients to Dolphin Carpet & Tile, especially using their delivery service.

A horrible experience. First they messed up the install date. I called to change the date & received confirmation, took off work and waited. And waited. And waited. No one showed. The guy I confirmed with hadn't told dispatch (or whomever). So we rescheduled. Again. Took off work. Again. The installers arrived with the completely wrong carpet. Rescheduled. Again. Completely different installers this time. The two very young guys who showed up took one look at all the furniture to be moved (which was included in the price & about which Dolphin knew), spent a half hr on the phone with someone, and said they couldn't do it that day because they needed to get help moving the furniture. I call the store and tell someone there about the newest development. After waiting for a call from the manager, who was "out," the DISTRICT manager shows up, apologizes and gets a 65 yr old guy to come install our carpet. It took an extra part of the next day but he moved all the furniture by himself.
Description of Work: Replaced carpet and pad in four bedrooms and a hallway.
