It went well. However 2 things happened which upset me, 1) I did not like the attempt at changing the term of the purchase from 2 maintenance services in 1 year, to 2 year and brought a contract for me to sign. I declined and retained my original purchase from Angie's List. 2) I was offered the installation of UV light in A/C system, and price or contract was not made clear before installation/purchase. After installation, I was charged over $400.00. When I asked for the price, the answer sounded more like 47.00. Upon doing a search online, I realized it was a serious overcharge. I objected and asked the company to remove the UV light and issue a refund to me. To their credit, the company apologized and the credit was issued immediately. My A/C is working well, the original job was done to my satisfaction.

I called direct air this morning because my ac was not cooling. They sent someone out right away. My unit was old and advised me to replace the unit. I agreed to replace the unit with there 0 interest financing for 5 years. and they the did the installation the same day. They picked up after themselves. i couldn't be any happier. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family

The work was installed by Luis Carlos and Robert, both were very, very nice, clean and professional. It was a pleasure to see high class work being done here in my house. I really hope that their boss realize these 2 guys make his business work and grow. It tells me the character of Direst Air through this type of employees.

Excellent service all around. We met four technicians and all of them were extremely professional, attentive and diligent about their work. Joe, in particular, went above and beyond our expectations.

I contacted Direct Air to repair my AC. I live in a condo, and my compressor is located on the roof. According to condo rules, I am not allowed on the roof, so I had to "trust" the evaluation of the service provider. Because all of the unit compressors are on the roof and because Direct Air was not sure which one belonged to my unit, I will never really know whether they actually looked at my unit. Direct Air does not recommend repairs - they are only about sales - whether needed or not. And they will not sell a compressor without also selling a new air handler. At the time, they would only sell Trane. I asked about Bryant, which I had, but that was not an option. The installer were not very knowledgeable. Three installers came to my condo. Unfortunately, only one spoke English - limited. This caused the installation to take almost double the amount of time as it would have normally taken because the workers could not communicate with me or each other. This was evident when one worker was on the roof and attempting to communicate by cell phone to me and the other workers inside my condo. The two workers finally had to send the worker who spoke no English home and complete the job themselves, which took much longer. Because they were tired, the work was very sloppy. It actually looked like a 5-year-old had installed the air handler. They did not bring tools and relied on me to provide them along with buckets, rags, and ladder. The installers also provided incorrect information regarding the filter and how to replace it. As a result, the filter was installed incorrectly. The installers also tore up my tile in the process of bringing in the air handler for installation. They left a mess that took me several days to clean up. The work was incredibly unprofessional and sloppy. A month after the installation, the new AC stopped working. They charged me to come out and repair it even though it was obviously still under warranty. They also charged me for a thermostat which I did not receive because I had recently installed a new one. I was supposed to receive some filters because they had assured me that the filter would be a common size. This was a false statement on their part. The filter was not a common size and must be special - ordered. The company manager is not very courteous when a customer calls. I did not feel that I should have been charge for a service call one month after the installation when the problem was a result of shoddy installation. There was supposed to be a discount for Angie's List, but the price was actually higher for Angie's List members!

They came and insisted that it needed to be replaced which would cost over $2500. We got another company to review it the same day who told us the Capacitor was missing and replaced it for less than $500. Very dishonest and would not use them again.

Great. They showed up on time, were very pleasant, especially the service person who replaced the evaporator coils.

We could not be happier. Whenever we make a big purchase there is always some level of nervousness. New air-conditioning units are not cheap. It's an investment. This is our home! And we are not penny wise, pound foolish people looking to save a penny at the expense of buying something which won't last. Will came out to the house and did a full inspection of the system. Found and showed me the BIG problem and then helped me figure out an affordable solution. A great guy who was patient with every question I had. They sent two installers out. Roberto and Carlos. What gentlemen and they too know their craft. Super careful when it came time to take out the old equipment from it's second floor location and then carry all of the new equipment up. They covered the floors and made sure there was not a nick of damage or a speck of dust after they were done installing the system. Did I mention all of this happened in one day? They were like a formula one racing team with the coordinated effort, all focused on making sure we were happy with the work and purchase...plus taking time to go over the controls and clearly understand anything and everything about our new purchase. The house is cool and comfy thanks to Direct Air's Will, Roberto and Carlos. We do not hesitate to recommend them and the company to anyone!

Very satisfied with the service. Will Gomez was my initial contact and who evaluated and recommended the right equipment. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions clearly. The technicians that installed the equipment were Luis Carlos and Jonathan. They did an excellent job.

okay. I did not feel they were trustworthy. I noticed after the left my home the handle to the Balcony door in the bedroom was no longer secured and the dryer was not drying properly. Does this mean there was some tampering? I don't know for sure, but these were just observations I made after the fact.

Excellent. The tech appeared on time and appeared to know what he was doing. He check our AC from top to bottom. He vacuumed out the condensation pipe and added some anti algea tabs to the condensation pan. He completely cleaned the air handler inside and out. He checked pressure levels, amperage, temp differential and other secret levels. It's the best check my air conditioner has had in a very long time. Earl is a stand up guy that knows what he's doing. I would recommend him for any job, big or small. I'm impressed with Direct AC and will use them again!

The equipment that we received as far as we can tell we bought a Lennox system a fairly expensive one, we spent about $10000 on the equipment plus installation. We had Lennox before and we've been very happy with that brand and we had been happy with the equipment now it seems to operate it cools properly. We've had one major issue and we don't know whether it is the fault yet of the installation or if it's some kind of equipment problem. They have not been able to resolve it, they've been back three times since the initial installation and they've sort of been reluctant to dress the issue and from our perspective it seems like they had done minor things to the system to like tweak it a little bit you know maybe to make us sort of happy and go away with our complain I don't know but it has not resolved the issue and the issue that we have is that we experience very high humidity in the house. The system cools to temperature, whatever temperature he set it to it cools to that temperature but regardless of the temperature that you set the humidity remains high around 60% or higher.

Around 11:30am, nobody had called back so I called spoke to a lady that explained she was helping out. Then, I was transferred to the same person that I had originally spoke to and then I was transferred to somebody that said he was the service manager. His question was what kind of a/c I had and then proceeded to asked me what kind of Freon there was in it. I told him that the unit was brand new, and he just simply told me to call the people that installed it because they don't work on stuff that other people installed. Then, when I got very upset and explained to him the whole ordeal, his story changed to "we can go inspect it, but not as an emergency". He obviously did not know all the details I had given to the dispatcher. Very unprofessional, terrible customer service and wasted two hours of my time....

The tech and office support staff were amazing. I have to give a special "shout out" to Jose Gonzalez who went the extra mile and answered all of my questions, including "dumb" ones without making me feel stupid. Their entire team was outstanding, and as a long-distance landlord it made me very happy to hear how pleased my renters were with how professional/caring/punctual the repair tech was. I have nothing but good things to say about Direct Air!

They were waiting outside my house at 9:50, promptly at 9AM they drove in, introduced themselves and immediately began the installatiion. Their van was immaculate as was their equipment. They placed a good sized mat on the floors in front of the air handler to be removed, Each man worked separately on the equipment he was installing until when physical assistance was needed. They worked steadilly until completion. When I asked how long the job would take, they said about 8 hours. They were finished in 7 hrs & 45 mins, after thoroughly cleaning up every speck of debry and vacuumed thoroughly. They also explained to me the workings of the new thermostat. I was very impressed by your employees. They speak well for the quality of your company. Beliieve me in my 90 years I've seen a lot of service men and mechanics, and don't recall having anyone do a better job. I would reccomend your company highly. Now let's hope Lennox's equipment performs as well!

They were prompt to initial appointment and were available to replace a/c the next day. Very professial .

Excellent. The price quoted seemed very fair. Technicians were on time and did an outstanding job. New Lennox system seems very nice and quiet.

It was an excellent experience. Arturo came almost 2 hours earlier than scheduled,which I really appreciated,and he had to replace several parts.He did all this while getting soaking wet because we've had some horrible downpours. He was terrific!!This was my first experience with this company,but it won't be my last. They were professional from the first phone call & thru the completion of the job.

These guys are great. We had Alvaro come out to check what needed to be done, and he was very knowledgable. Ricardo and Lazaro were the ones who did the work the next day, equally knowledgable and very skilled. Not only did they do the work, but took pictures and video of the work to show exactly what was done. Both Ricardo and Lazaro, before leaving, made sure that everything was done properly and that we were happy. My only concern was the price, but they give you very good quality work backed up by a good local company. Would recommend them and use them again.

It went very well. Workers were bilingual and on time. There was a follow up call from there customer service department to make sure that we were completely satisfied.

Pedro came right out. He patched the leak and recharged the unit with freon. Prompt, friendly service.

He didn't tell me he damaged the door to the closet that accesses the system. He just left. I knew the piece had fallen out but he didn't mention that the door was damaged at all. The piece the fits in the track is missing and I cannot find it. The company said that he could come out and fix it but it's been a couple days now and I'm worried that Pedro doesn't have that piece (or know where it is) in order to fix the door. Edit: He did drive back to fix the door, and also offered me a free service to resolve the issue. Therefore I have edited his grades to reflect that.

First day I called, someone took a message and promised me a call back that day. No one returned the call. The next day I called to schedule as was told it would be $125 for the service call. When I mentioned the Angie's list deal for $65 for a service call, they said it was for houses only and not condos. The advertisement does not mention this, only that the coupon is good for residential service. The condo is residential. Another person there then got on the line asking numerous questions about the unit and seemed to be making up excuses on why they couldn't come. I told them I would take my business elsewhere.
