Excellent. The technicians were excellent.

They canceled the original appointment the morning off, citing a broken machine. They were able to accommodate me a few days later. They arrived within the time window they stated. Their workers were friendly and professional. They stated the ducts weren't really dirty, so I appreciated their honesty and ask them to clean them anyhow since I have been dealing with severe allergies. Took about 1.5 hours to clean 13 vents. They made minimal mess, so I was grateful.

Carlos called me 30 mins before showing up. I called because my heating was not working. It took him a few minutes to figure out that we were not setting up the thermostat correctly. He was professional and knew what he was doing. Carlos offered us a maintenance plan that we look forward to setting up next year.

NOW THE A/C IS FUNCTIONING GREAT AND NEXT WEEK THEY WILL BE BACK TO INSTALL A UV LIGHT AND AND CLEAN THE AIR DUCKS. First Wil came to my house to give an estimate on repairing or replacing my old unit. He recommended a new unit and said it could be installed the same day, and it was. The two installers worked for 7 hours removing and replacing my air conditioning unit. They were very professional and cleaned up any mess that was made.I would definitely use them again.

On Sunday our AC started leaking water so we called Direct Air. They were there quickly and the repairman, Alex, said that he could clean the line, which would temporarily fix problem, but to really fix issues he needed to clean coils. We said fine do both. Negotiated price to approx. $515 ($95 service fee and $420 to clean coils). Originally he wanted to charge us $95 (service fee) + $170 (clean line) + $420 (clean coils) but said he would not charge us for cleaning line if we paid the $515 upfront. He came back on Monday and worked on cleaning coils for about an hour and a half. When we're sitting down to do final paperwork Alex says, "Oh your compressor is not working, I'll try to fix it but I don't know if I can." He was quick to check that it was under warranty and give us estimate for labor, said he could get it fixed for $850. We stopped things there, our thinking was -- compressor was working fine before you touched the machine. He left and we called in Cool Air USA. Guys came and fixed the compressor in 5 min. They said one of the lines was closed and they just opened it up. UPDATE.... After posting this review, I spoke with the owner of the company, Juan. We agreed that Direct Air's tech, Alex, didn't do anything on purpose to damage the compressor or to try and rip us off, but that he should have handled the situation differently so there was no misunderstanding or appearance that he was trying to rip us off. Instead of just saying that the compressor was broken and talking to me about getting a new one, he should have explained that the compressor might be fixed by waiting a while for it to cool and he should have offered to come back and fix it since I have no idea about ACs and would not have been able to fix it myself. At the end, Juan offered to give me a credit for the time and aggravation this caused. He assured me he takes great time and effort to build and maintain relationships with his customers, which I believe. So I have upgraded my review and I am now open to having these guys back.

Called them on a weekend and they were there within the hour!

I found them from Angie's list. I called them and they said they would show up between 9 and 12. They showed up at 1pm. Also, it said on Angie's list that they offer a 10% off for Angie's list customers. When the salesman Hordy showed up I reminded him about the 10% for Angie's list customers. He said that specific Angie's list offer expired. I told him that I saw the 10% offer yesterday on the internet. He said OK he would call the office. Then he did the work and unclogged my drain unit, which is what I needed. So he did a good job with that task. However, the price for cutting and glueing pvc pipe was $180. Very expensive price for very simple work. Also, when i went to pay Hordy he said that the 10% offer for Angie's list does not work on Saturdays. This was crap but at that point I wanted to pay for the service and be done with the transaction.

I shopped around several a/c companies looking for an overall good deal on a new Trane XV20i. They had the best price by far and the best financing plan 0% interest for 60 months. Everyone in this company was very knowledgeable on this system. The sales person was early to our appointment and knew his product very well. The installers were completely professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They put a carpet with there logo at the front door and one in front of the inside unit. Very clean and high quality work. New Mercedes trucks that were very clean and completely full of tools and parts. This has been the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a service company. Everything they promised was done and were early for the installation. The new system is completely quiet and it cools my house very well. I would strongly recommend them to everyone I know.5 stars

It went very well. They were on time and cleaned up when they were finished. This company is also very helpful when calling to schedule an appointment. They usually try to fit you in right away. I was very impressed with their professionalism.

They came early, removed my old AC unit and air handler, and installed my new high efficiency Trane AC in one day. My monthly electric bill dropped from over $500 to $320 in the summer. They came today for a service call and discovered that another contractor had cut the thermostat wire. They repaired it and got my unit running again in under and hour. I would highly recommend Direct Air to anyone.

Direct Air was there on time, clean, professional and responsive. Unfortunately one of our units was bad out of the box. They have been out numerous times to repair- including on holiday weekends, it is not their fault.,they assisted in arranging a warranty change out of the unit. I was very happy with them (a bit less happy with Trane!)

They were very good. They were very good in coming in time, they gave us advise and information about the options. They were very professional. The service was good.

They were very timely but they’re expensive. I paid $7,500 just for the handler but it was a train. It’s an A/C unit that’s inside the apartment. They were recommended by a friend. I was okay with the service they provided.

It went fine. They gave me a good price. They were good and they were quick. The only thing I didn’t like was that they offered me a generic air handling site where I didn’t feel comfortable about buying it.

They provide reliable service and, they come on time. They do what they say they are going to do, and they are very reliable.

My A/C had been leaking. I called direct air, and the worker showed up w/o even a tool box in his hand. That is why it didn't surprise me when he told me I needed a new A/C. I think he decided this before even showing up. When the new one was installed a few days later (one worker arrived three hours late, the other 2 hours after), it kept right on leaking. I called them back, and they said it just needed to be flushed. It dawned on me that this may have been the problem all along, I just didn't know enough to figure it out. He did this, but a few hours later it was leaking again. I just put a bucket, and decided to call them back. A few weeks later, when time allowed, I did call them back, b/c the worker had assured me that all service calls would be covered in the first year. But of course, the first thing he says is that it's going to cost me $65 service fee for them to come. They have no such service agreement. Overall, I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON OUR A/C. THEY WERE VERY EASY TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WERE VERY WELL MANNERED. THEY WORKED VERY HARD AND OUR A/C HAS BEEN WORKING VERY WELL.
