David and Goliath Moving and Storage

This a continuation of a previous review. I am absolutely amazed at the complete lack of responsibility by this company. Not only did they take over a week to get back to my attorney, but post communication with them without an Attorney has gone on for weeks with yet no response. They still have (and have acknowledged) possession of my property yet to be delivered. I have also advised them of property they delivered which is color coded, and not mine, that was meant to be delivered to someone else. They have yet to get back to me on that. I would like to contact that owner directly, but have no means of contacting them. I'm sure D&G will not openly provide that information. I do not want to discard the property since it isn't mine, but would like to send it to the proper owner. Something D&G apparently doesn't want to do on their own. Lately I have asked for information on where to file a claim so that at the very least I would be responsible for my part of this transaction. 4 weeks later I hear nothing. They have not responded to repetitive emails. . I finally looked on the back of the contract and there was the claim information. Is that so hard for them to respond to. So as of today I will be filing a claim for approximately 30 missing items, embedded scratches to 3 pieces of furniture, a broken coffee table leg, Destroyed side table, numerous broken permanent containers, 2 hand trucks, a large glass table top (which I would imagine has been broken and therefor not delivered.) Their lack of responsibility and communication is absurd. I am currently retired and plan on spending many a day writing Social Media about my experience. Don't let them move anything of yours. This company pertaining to my move has been negligent. As for my situation...there will be litigation!!!! The following is what I had furnished to my attorney. All items noted as missing have yet to be resolved. Customer Service David and Goliath Moving and Storage 6447 Warren Drive Norcross, Georgia 30093 January 7, 2016 To Whom it May Concern, Numerous phone contacts have been made with no resolution. I had requested a readable copy of the inventory, as the copy provided to us was not legible. Therefore I cannot provide you with information such as the tape lot number, or the carrier reference number. It is difficult to determine what the description of the items that are missing and can only be determined by the stock number sticker that was on the item. Many of the items did not have stickers on them, so it is difficult to determine what boxes are not accounted for, however an inventory was taken for those boxes and items which had stickers affixed. This is to advise you in writing that the delivery of my property is missing the following items. I have used the description of those that could be read on those items still missing. The amount of items listed would constitute unreasonable handling of my property on the part of David and Goliath Moving and Storage. I would like to have a search of these items and prompt delivery to the receiving contracted address. Thank you for your assistance in locating and delivering my property. The following stock numbers are missing. The description is “Boxes”. #’s, 120, 121, 123, 138, 141, 142, 147, 149, 275, 276, 277, 278, 279, 280, 283, 284, 285, 286, 287, 288, 292, 293, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 316, 318, 319, 320, 321, and 323. The following stock numbers are missing. They were recorded as “Plastic containers”. #’s 181, 186,190, 198, 201, 202, 207, 208, and 215, Also missing are: 2 - 2 wheel small hand trucks (black in color w/inflatable tires). Identical in nature. I noted they were stickered, but cannot read what items they are on the inventory. Again a legible copy may be of assistance. 1-Metal Bed Frame (No headboard or foot board.) Unreadable description. 1-Glass top for table (measuring approximately 32 by 52 inches.) I believe it is stock number 221. There are also numerous broken pieces and damaged boxes which I have recorded for future claims. Please find and deliver those missing items so we can make a final claim. I personally witnessed all items reported as getting on the truck at the originating address. The property was delivered on December 17th. I have heard some of the accounts of this delivery and I don’t believe you would be satisfied with the movers delivering these items. If the above items are found and delivered it would make the situation tolerable.
