Porch roof never fixed 14 months later. Says the whole roof to the whole house has to be replaced. O.K., why not tell me that 14 months ago. The sliding glass doors, the floor, the furniture are ruined. Frequently does not return phone calls, ignores you when there is obviously a problem unless you become aggressive. Shed is of at least fair construction but nails into siding are coming loose.

My chimney is still leaking. After Mr. Daley told me it was repaired, I had the living room walls and ceiling plastered and painted. After a hard rain, a wet stain appeared around the chimney area. When I showed it to Mr. Daley, he said textually, ''Nobody is perfect.'' After another hard rain, things got worse. The ceiling over the chimney cracked and swelled. I had already paid Mr. Daley the full balance, but the 90-day warranty was still in effect. He failed to honor it by ignoring my telephone message about the new leak. Not only did Mr. Daley fail to complete the work satisfactorily, but he lied to me. When he told me the work was completed, I asked him if the inspection had been done. He said it had. It was not true, as I found out when I checked with Town Hall. Mr. Daley had handed me a bunch of papers, which were supposed to be the inspection report. They were the permit papers.
