CSM Contractors

Csm contractor was hired to buy and install impact windows. He installed the windows without providing the supplier warranty and the purchase invoice . One panel window broke and, although the supplier confirmed it has warranty, mr. Castro, the owner, didn’t reply to my (and my building manager) request for warranty details. Without it the supplier can’t track the windows’ order and activate the warranty. We emailed and called him multiple times but he didn’t reply with the info request, but just with some vague promises to send someone to assess the situation, that were not followed up. Then he stopped replying to my email, creating a situation even more stressful and frustrating. He asked $4200 to reimburse the permit application expenses (designs, etc), and I paid it with the agreement he would have provided proof of payment for all of them.He provided proof of payment for only $ 420, and I told him ( as written in our agreement and confirmed by email) to apply the remaining balance to my last invoice. He refused to do that, he din’t Return the remaining balance and he kept asking for circa $2700 I don’t have proof he spent. ( one of the invoices he provided after asking him multiple times even is from another building). My experience was very bad, both for his service and for the total luck of assistance when the window broke ( the day before Christmas!).

hired to instal huricane windows and doors, offered a top brand and delivered another 2nd quality brand, was reproved 3 times in the city inspection and had to redo everything, over charged and tried to charge for his mistakes. renovate a bathroom and 3 month later I had to redo the all bathroom due leak everywhere. I already expended more than $30,000 just to fix his mistakes.
