Critter Control

***BEWARE***Last week while I was traveling for work, my wife noticed the smell of a dead animal coming from our daughters room. Critter Control was contact and came out. The Consultant forced my wife to pay IN FULL $2,500 or he would not remove the animal. Part of the charges was something called "Full Exclusion Repairs". Listed in scope of work was a bunch of work that WAS NOT completed. This is some of the most unscrupulous business practices I have ever seen as long as I have lived in South Florida. They flat out lied about the work performed and took advantage of desperate mother.

Took awhile, but the removal was successful. Eddie, the person who came to do the job, was very meticulous, making sure to check my attic. He mentioned, after looking at the problem that removing bees was a process and could take up to six visits. I was, of course, skeptical, wanting it done in a day. Eddie was right on. I called him back, I think it was four times, before I saw that there were no bees flying around the spot where they had nested. So, in a word, two words, all gone. Thank you Eddie.

The extensive indoor and outdoor extermination efforts appear to have worked well! All employees that responded to my house were extremely professional. Noah was the technician and his work was outstanding.

Last year we called Critter Control because we had rats in the attic. Critter Control removed the dead rats, installed traps and sealed all of the holes and gaps where they were entering. Critter Control provided a plan of action and executed it exactly as outlined. Critter Control was responsive, professional and answered all of our questions. Almost one year later, we are still rat-free. When an odor, similar to that of the dead rats from last year, permeated through the house and yard, we immediately contacted Critter Control. Kassandra promptly returned the call and scheduled an appointment within the hour. Kassandra located and removed a large dead possum in the crawl space underneath the house. Kassandra is professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I feel extremely confident with her expertise. Critter Control's excellent customer service has prompted us to change from our existing bi-monthly pest control service to Critter Control's pest control service. It is rare that one finds decent customer service in Miami. However, Critter Control exhibits excellent customer service. We will happily continue using their services.

I gave them the trapping job. They set up 2 traps for a base price of $230 with the understanding that it would be for I believe 5 days. They caught two separate possums. Each capture costs around $70 additional, which includes removal and reset. They sent photos regularly and were always on schedule and communicative. Highly recommend. I had them remove the traps after a few days bc i didn't want to start attracting all the animals in the neighborhood and paying for it lol. I gave another company the exclusion job because they were first, came in around same price but took $150 off for me, and I figured I'd learn about 2 companies instead of one.

Took a few visits but the company did not stop until the rats were gone and couldn't enter the house

Great! Carlos Idiaquez is super easy to work with, and interesting person. He sure knows how to trap animals and treats them with the greatest of respect. Thanks to him all was taken care of in the best of terms.

They were excellent. They came the same day I reached out to them and followed up everyday until the rats were gone. All of the people were very friendly and responsive. I would definitely use them again if I have another problem.

I contacted them because rodents had eaten my Comcast cable and Comcast could not finish the repairs until the pest problem was resolved. They were all very professional. An inspection was scheduled within days from my initial phone call. Greg was the first to come out and he inspected my house, offered several solutions and worked around my very tight schedule. Kris finished the work and also worked around my very tight schedule. After the work was completed Greg called to follow up! I'm very pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

It went okay. They didn't do much because they told me that there are holes in the attic that the critters are coming in through. They didn't take care of it.

When we hired them, the price was higher than we expected but it proved to be 100% worth it. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and effective. They are committed to staying with the job until the issue is totally resolved. Shaun and Jhonathan are great -- professional and very friendly (important when you have someone coming into your home every 2-3 days for an extended period of time). I would absolutely recommend them.

We have used Critter Control twice at two houses where there was rat activity: once for rats in an attic space and then recently for rats under the house. Critter Control staff is professional, punctual, and so easy to communicate with. The prices might be higher than competition, but really fair for the thorough and excellent work they do. Received accurate communications on when techs will arrive, and all work was done well and things were put back/reconnected/closed up so we didn't need to clean up after the tech, which was great! We also use Critter Control for monthly bug control and have been completely satisfied with that work in both locations. Highly recommended! One other thing we appreciate is that whenever possible, Critter Control takes trapped larger mammals like possums and raccoons to be released in the wilderness outside Miami. It's good to work with people who are environmentally conscious and not cruel to animals, even if they have to remove them from where they would like to be!

They were really good at what they did and checked the roof and found the hole. They came on the same day and at the time they were supposed to come. They called before they came and really took care of all of the little things. I appreciate them coming on the same day and staying and explaining what was going on.

They keep monitoring activity of the rats though the consumption of the poison and recommend placement based on activity. Unfortunately, we have an abandoned home next door which attracts a lot of rodents so it is constant battle. Critter control is very professional and rates are competitive.

We recently had rotten wood in our roof replaced, but not before some rats found a way into our attic. I purchased the Big Deal for 1 week of monitored pest removal service. Chuck came out and really knew his stuff. He looked in the attic and knew immediately where they were coming in and where to place the traps. He put my mind at ease by explaining that it was maybe only a couple rats that found their way in through the rotten roof near a fruit tree. The roofer closed the roof in so that no animals could get in and within 2 days we had caught 3 including 2 adults. We left the traps in place for the week and had no more activity in our attic. Chuck seemed to believe that since the roof was fixed that was probably all that was in our attic, he did not notice any evidence of a large problem. He said that the type of rats we had are territorial so they do not join other families and more than likely we got them all since we got the 2 adults. After the week of monitored service I continued to leave traps where Chuck had and kept an eye out for what Chuck had told me to look for. I noticed zero activity and have had nothing touch the traps since. All I can say is Chuck at Critter Control did exactly what he said on the very first day and no pests have come back. I would never call another company for this type of work as they clearly know their stuff.

Granted, we were dealing with rats, but Shaun Crawford of Critter Control was the most professional, knowledgeable, and efficient technician I could have asked for. This is a no BS company. They show up when they say they will, they do the job and do it well, they guaranatee their work. This is the ONLY South Florida company I'd ever recommend for getting ride of unwanted house guests.

I had an ongoing problem with rats. He came back a few times to take care of the issue. He responded each time I called and tried different applications. The additional charges were reasonable.

Shaun was great. Responded to all my calls, gave me a great explanation as to what he was doing and made sure to spray the entire perimeter of the house. So far so good. Lots of dead cockroaches and no live ones. Also, have not seen any ants recently, which was a previous problem.

The service turned out well. They followed up very well. The fleas and ticks have been gone for the last couple of years. They did the whole lawn for that service. They were courteous to work with.

I bought a big deal for $50 and they came to do an outdoor pest control treatment. They showed up on time and were nice but I can't say I noticed any difference in the ant problem. I now pay Truly Nolen $90 every 3 months to come treat my home and haven't seen ants since. I don't feel I got good value for the price.
