Went to the local store, but they didn't have any of the items I was looking for. Went online, and the product was available, but the website didn't have anywhere to enter the coupon code, so I phoned the order in. The customer service representative (Keith) couldn't apply the coupon code, so he checked with his supervisor. The supervisor (Ernesto) spoke with me and said I couldn't use the coupon online...only in the store...at which point I told him the store didn't have the item, so I couldn't do that. The supervisor again stated that he couldn't authorize the coupon...even after I emailed it to them showing them that: 1. CompUSAonline.com had sent it to me. 2. No where on the coupon does it state "In Store Only" or anything even close to that. I've been a long time (15 year) customer of CompUsa...but this has ended a perfectly good relationship. There are lots of other electronics stores out there...I guess it's time to shop.
Description of Work: CompUSA sent me a coupon (over the internet) for $75.00 off "open box" items. Then, they wouldn't honor it. They used bait and switch tactics, along with deceptive advertising.
