I have lived in the Miami area for many years, including the aftermath and rebuilding following Hurricane Andrew in 1992. During this time I have used many contractors to perform various work projects on my house. Like so many people, most of my experiences have been, to say the least, less than desirable, usually consisting of extremely high prices and poor workmanship. So, recently when I discovered two large (6") holes in my asphalt shingle roof ? holes which also penetrated the plywood sheathing - I was mortified at the thought of having to deal with roofing contractors. Since the repairs had to be done ? and done as quickly as possible ? I checked out roofing contractors with Angie?s List. I did have three contractors who came out and provided quotes for the repairs. All three contractors seemed knowledgeable, sincere, and were able to perform the repairs in a more-or-less timely manner. However, I selected City Roofing because Mario?s estimate was the lowest of the three (even lower than one contractor who offered a 10% Angie?s List discount) and because he said that he could perform the repair in a half-day. One of the other contractors said that it would be a three-day repair job, which even I thought was an extreme length of time. Mario?s crew show up exactly when he said they would and completed all the repairs within the half-day, as promised. They cleaned up the grounds of all debris and left the property exactly as it was prior to their arrival. The final price was exactly as Mario had quoted ? with no absurd, mysterious ?additions? to hike up the cost. Mario is a young man who certainly has his act together, is knowledgeable, and obviously knows how to run a business ? and a difficult one at that. This is a company that I would have no reservations about recommending to anyone who needs a roofing contractor ? for a new roof or for repairs. You may rest assured that any and all of my future roofing needs will be performed by City Roofing.

Amaru came to my home & was efficient in locating exact cause of leak. Was to start Mon., but flashing came in wrong (advised). Came Wed. as promised, completed & cleaned up.

Excellent. Representative came out, was professional, inspected roof, informed me of what the problems were. I agreed to have work done. He gave me a day when work could be approximately how long it would take. Roofer showed up on time ready to work. Professional. Tile was not exactly a match. The roofers took their time to find tile that was a better match. Made sure I approved, came back to complete the job. Customer service was excellent with keeping me informed on what to expect and sending certification of roof condition to my insurance company after completion of job.

Everything went well with City Roofing however I would be very careful with Citizens inspectors. They don't tell you the truth after an inspection. The same company that did my inspection in Sept. 2012 also did my inspection in 2004 ,2005, 2006, and reported to Citizens .They claim their computers have no records before 2006. They had approved my house with all the discounts . Now they cancelled all deductions and more than doubled my insurance. Its obvious they are attempting to get more money from policy holders. I am on a water canal and have no choice except Citizens. I cant afford to rebuild my house to meet present standards. This story should be interesting for your readers.

They were on time very polite and pleasant at midrange price. They did not complain about anything and gave a 2 year warranty.

The professionalism and quality City Roofing provides is not commonly found today. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the work performed on a leak we had constant problems with. Because of City Roofing, we no longer have a problem. The promptness from the office staff is magnificent. Mario was there to answer any questions or concerns whenever it was needed. Overall, very professional and kind! We are happy, satisfied customers.

Simply said, SMOOTHLY. No major issues. As we said earlier FOLLOWED UP AND FOLLOWED THROUGH.

It took me a good month or longer of interviewing and checking liscences before we chose City Roofing. From the first meeting until the project was finished they were punctual and did carry themselves professionally. Any time i placed a call for whatever reason if not answered within min utes i would get a call back. The job was completed on time and both my husband and i were very satisfied with the results. City Roofing wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive, we felt he gave us a fair price for a job well done.

They are excellent. They are very reliable. The price is very competitive. They do a very good job.

I wasn't really happy with them. I will never use them again. The price was too high for what they did. I showed them the leaks and they basically didn't do anything about them.

Our roof is very steep and hard to work on, and Mario and his crew did excellent work.

They are very efficient. They had the roof done within 3 days. This was after hurricane Wilma.
