Called City roofing in regards to a roof leak, spoke to Eddy Soza and he came out and gave me an estimate the same day. He explained the details of the repair and how long it would take. They gave me a written estimate and I authorized the work. The men arrived on time to start repairs and leak was repaired the same day. Because I had a tile roof they had to order replacement tile and the entire job was completed in 4 days. Dealing with Eddy was a joy, he answered all my questions and when I called him on the phone, he would return my call promptly. I was very pleased with their work and professional attitude. Unfortunately the following week we discovered another leak in a totally different location on our roof and I called Eddy immediately. Because it was late in the day he couldn't get to my home until the next morning, which was fine. The repair was done the next day, tile ordered and job completed within a week. I was surprised that they were able to do my second repair so quickly as it had been raining for days and I was afraid their other customers would prevent them getting back to me, but that was not the case. Eddy and City Roofing did everything they could to accommodate me and take care of our leaks. I can't tell you how important it was that they could respond to our needs so quickly. Their price is too high. They were the highest bid we had. They claimed the price is very aggressive. They advertise they can do a complete roof for $7000 and then this work would have been more. They came to the house twice. I do not have any complaints other then being unrealistic on the price.

Mario-representative/owner arrived on time, was courteous and knowledgeable of the job to be done. The staff was on time, the job was done right and clean. Anytime I had a question, Mario responded quickly. Will recommend the company without hesitation.

On Monday, I called 5 roofers from Angie?s List and 2 were scheduled to send out an estimater late in the week and a third took over a week to call me back to schedule an appointment. A 4th said they were back-up with roof work and it would take at least 2-3 weeks to do any future repairs. The folks at City Roofing said they could have an estimater out tomorrow (Tuesday). Eddie came out and was very cordial and went up in the attic with me to look at the chimney and to look for the other leak over the window. We also went up on the roof to inspect those areas. Our house is 77 years old and in Miami we never use the fireplace. I therefore wanted a solution to ?seal? the chimney from the roof by capping it and sealing the body of the chimney all the way to the roof line/shingles. My roof is an asphalt shingle roof and is 7 years old. Eddie recommended capping the chimney by shaping flashing to fit over the top and completely covering the chimney with Hydro-Stop membrane and epoxy to seal it in. He also recommended replacing the flashing around the south end of the chimney just below the peak of the roof - since the one done by the roofers 7 years ago extended too far beyond the chimney and was causing water to pool. He said the repair men would find the leak over the window by inspecting under the shingles starting about a foot above where the water was entering the house at the seem of the window and the wall. Candy who runs the office sent over a quote and gave me an Angie?s list discount for the repair of 5%. They were also having a difficult time finding matching shingles for my roof and since I had kept an extra pack of shingles after the roof was done 7 years earlier they gave me an additional $125 off the price for using my extra shingles. The only reason I gave them a B for pricing and not an A is that I did not receive any quotes to compare them to since I wanted to get the leaks repaired as soon as possible and all 5 companies I called were highly rated on Angie's List. The two roofers/repair technicians (both named Jose) were excellent and explained all they were doing and did a great job including complete cleanup. The job was finished 1 week after I had called and has been leak free since. Both Candy and the other lady in the office I spoke to (Jackie) were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this company.

When I bought a house, I knew the roof needed to be replaced. I contacted a lot of roof companies, and decided to go with City Roofing. I told them I couldn't wait because there was a violation issued to my house. I met a City Roofing representative on a Thursday afternoon at the City Hall, so he could submit my permit right away. Friday afternoon, I called the city, and guess what.. he hadn't submitted my permit that Thursday. We were at the City Hall!!! I called City Roofing, and they gave me the processing number, so I went online to check the status of the permit. I found out that nothing matched my description or the description of my house. The name was wrong, the address was wrong, the price was wrong, the city and zip code were wrong. Basically, the only thing correct was the number of the house. When I called them to say that just couldn't be my house, I heard that would have been a mistake. Sorry, A mistake!!! Everything was wrong besides the number of the house!! Conclusion, they never submitted a permit and wanted to fool be big time. I cancelled the deposit check and look for another roofer. If you need a good roof company, contact me and I'll give you a good one. Stay away from City Roofing!! P.S.: Remember, you have to have a permit, this is the only way to protect yourself.

It all worked out. They patched the leak and extended the life of my roof for 4-5 years. They saved me some money.

I had always had very good results with Angie?s list vendors. I did not want to call the original vendor as my roof was one year past the 10 year warranty period and I had very bad time when I had previously called him. I selected City Roofing based on Angie? List ratings and comments. My appointment was in two days. I realize that they have been busy as we have been experiencing a lot of rain due to Storm Andrea. They called the day before to confirm the day and time. Then Mario called the same day and advised that he could be there two hours earlier which I readily agreed to. Mario was very knowledgeable and professional. He went up the attic to verify the area of the leak, provided a quote and told us he had a crew that was finishing a job and could be here on the same day. The crew went up the attic and again verified the area that needed repairs. They worked between rain showers even though they got wet so they could install a temporary fix. My son had previously drilled a hole in the ceiling to drain the pooled water. I know the fix had worked as the bucket did not have any water even though it had rained all night. The crew returned the next day removed the shingles, the felt and rotted wood providing new wood, metal and shingles. The repairs were more extensive than anticipated but City Roofing honored the original quote. They also showed me photos of the work done. I would gladly recommend them to my friends and family

They did great work. Mario came out very quicikly, it was a next day response. He gave an estimate. He was punctual, polite, and professional. He was very efficent, I had an estimate right away. He came out the next day with the crew to repair it. There have been no leaks through May and June, although we have had alot of rain. They even used my paint to touch up the underside of the porch where they repaired it. I thought the price was reasonable and I would use them again.

First of all I highly recommend City Roofing. Mario and Candy were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. All phone calls were promptly addressed. If the call went to voice mail, I always received a prompt callback. The crew arrived promptly on April 15 as scheduled to start the job. Mario arrived right behind them. The crew quickly removed the roof and put us under paper as rain was in the forecast. The only delays were not the fault of City Roofing. The city inspectors did not arrive as scheduled to continue each step of the process. The crew was polite, very nice and cleaned up our property each day. I purchased the 6599.00 Angie's List deal for 2000 sq ft of shingle roofing. The only reason I paid more money was because my roof was well over 2000 sq ft and also had the flat roof replaced. Mario's price was by far the best quote of all. I had several quotes. Most important City Roofing does quality work and guarantees it too. Our roof turned out very nice and was very pleased with Mario, Candy and The City Roofing team.

City Roofing was fantastic from start to finish! Mario Famada is professional, knowledgable, informative and accommodating. He's very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Candy, the office manager, was a delight and always available to answer our calls. They even started our job 1 week ahead of schedule and completed it exactly as projected. The work crew was punctual, considerate of our comings and goings in and out of the work site, and each day they left the site clean and tidy. Our roof looks beautiful and with Mario's recommendations, we will save a substantial amount of money on our home owners insurance. We highly recommend City Roofing and give them an A+++.

The staff at City Roofing is fantastic. After purchasing my inspection certificate via Angie's List they contacted me to schedule the appointment. Everyone I spoke to and worked with was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They inspected my roof and provided me with a life expectancy report that I needed to give to my insurance company. They also advised of some maintenance and repairs we should perform and discussed future plans for the roof. This was done at my request, there was no attempt to upsell me on repairs or any unneccesary work. They provided me with exactly what I asked for with absolutely no pressure. I love that because that is usually the part that I dread with these deals. We're getting ready to start the roof work and some other projects and City Roofing is the first number on my list.

I found them professional and responsive. They were willing to take the time to use my camera for additional pictures. Before they left, they showed me their pictures and the work they did (before and after). Then I received a computer file PDF will the entire report.

All I have to say is.. thank you Candy. I emailed the company in the morning around 10am. Candy called me up and 5 minutes later , I received her estimate. We agreed to a price and job was done three hours later. Roof work was done in 30 minutes. Excellent services by Javier and his friend. No fuss, no hassle.

They were very helpful, cooperative, and very nice. They did a great job on my roof and I have not had a problem since. I had a space that needed to be painted and they were able to take care of that for me. They replaced some of the wood on the inside of the ceiling and they cleaned up after themselves well. I was also able to get a 2 year warranty on the repair.

Everything was completed properly. Mario was very responsive to each of my concerns. The entire crew was respectful and friendly, while being professional.

City always performs their work in a professional manner. Their pricing is in line with the market. They come when they promise and complete the work in a workmanlike manner. Their jobs are clean (very important), and completed on time.

The job went fine, They filled some cracks in the roof like they said they would and performed some general maintience. They showed up promptly, explained what they were going to do and did it well. I was very satisfied.

We had a tile come off of our roof. The tile was intact, it just needed to be reinstalled. We called City Roofing and the response was almost apologetic that the estimate had to be their minimum of $50. This was fine with us, as neither my husband nor myself were about the get on the roof, let alone correctly re-install a tile. The representative arrived on time, and with a new tile for us. The fix was quick and correct. I would use this company again without hesitation.
