I used City Roofing to repair a roof leak after getting estimates from three other companies. I was very happy with their work and their professionalism. Unlike employees from other roof companies, the City Roofing employee who came to my house arrived when he said he would, did not try to sell me on more repairs than I actually needed, and promptly sent me an estimate. The administrator at the company's office was very patient and courteous with me. She also contacted me in a timely manner when the workers couldn't come due to rain and rescheduled quickly. The two workers who came to my house carefully removed and replaced a gutter to perform the work and were tidy. They had to remove tiles and replace wood and other materials. The roof has not leaked since the repair. I also appreciated that their estimate, though higher than some of the others, included everything that needed to be done and seemed like a more honest estimate. I would highly recommend this company.

They repaired all damaged areas including parts of the decking. They re-shingled the entire roof. They were honest, knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. They answered all my many questions and were very patient with me. The entire area around my house was left clean and neat after work each day. City Roofing was a pleasure to work with. We discovered holes in the barrel tile roof of my townhome while working with an animal extraction service to remove a colony of bats! My schedule and travel dictated that I work with City Roofing via phone and email. It required a closely coordinated effort by them and the animal extraction service that spanned over several weeks. City Roofing was extremely professional and timely. They really came through for us and I would recommend them without hesitation. I would use them again. Candy and Mario Famada offer the type of service that is hard to find these days--they care about their customers. Make sure you consider them if you need roofing work done.

The Team was excellent in their service. They discussed everything they were doing, answered all my questions and were very professional. The job was performed very quick and well done. Throughout to project they were neat and cleaned up any debris. I have a pool and there was virtually no mess in the pool from the pressure washing that was done! Thank You!

The day after my first phone call I received my estimate. I thought it might be a bit high so decided to check with another company. After waiting for one week for them to call back with no response, I called City Roofing and hired them. At that time they reduced my price to reflect a 5% discount for Angie's List. In 2 days a crew was out to repair the tiles. It turned out that they only needed to be sealed, not replaced and I got a $100 discount for that. Three days after that a crew was out to pressure clean the roof and the following day they painted it. The roof looks great! I was very appreciative that the work was completed well in advance of the city coming to reinspect it. I will use City Roofing for any future needs.

After setting up appointment ~ 2 weeks in advance, 2 confirmation emails from them, they cancelled an hour before my scheduled appointment time citing a problem on another job. I get it things happen. I took the morning off work to accommadate their scheduling requirements because getting my roof taken care of is kind of a big deal. Nevertheless, there are only so many employees and if they needed to cancel and reschedule it is what it is. However, when I declined rescheduling for tomorrow, since, I have a job too, there was no further attempt to reschedule. They say "Our philosophy is simple... take care of the customer and the rest will take care of itself!" Not a very good job of that today in my opinion, but at least they called instead of just completely blowing it off like many in South Florida would. 3/3/16 Update: They emailed me adding insult to injury to " to say thanks for taking the time to meet with me". I called them to let them know that they should probably cancel they automated email follow up when they cancel on a client. Still nothing rescheduled. I'm sure they've done great work at some point, but this is really poor customer service even for South Florida.

During my first conversation with a lady in the office, she made it apparent that she had no idea what I was describing that I wanted done. I understood that she was not a contractor or roofer so I asked that she just schedule an appointment for an estimate and the estimator would understand. She then advised that the earliest appointment would be in two when the estimator would be in Broward County again. I was frustrated and disappointed and told her to disregard and I hung up. I thought I acted hastily and rudely so I called back and apologized and accepted the appointment in two weeks on the afternoon of Monday, February 22nd. On the morning of February 22nd, I received a call from the estimator, David Emiliani, to confirm the appointment later that day. He asked about the project and I explained it as I explained above in this review. To my surprise, he didn't understand what I wanted either. He also said he would have to re-schedule the appointment because he didn't realize I had a two-story house and he didn't have a two-story ladder. He explained that his company truck with the two-story ladder was being repaired and he was using a car and a one-story ladder. Mr Emiliani said someone from the office would call me to re-schedule the appointment. I waited two days and on Wednesday, February 24th, I sent an email advising that I was waiting to be contacted to re-schedule my appointment. The following day, February 25th, I received an email response apologizing for the delay which the writer explained was caused by a mis communication between herself and Mr Emiliani. She further stated that she pulled up my house on Google Earth and now knew what I meant by a mansard roof. She advised that City Roofing and Contracting would not be able to help me because a mansard roof us out of their scope of work and I should contact a general contractor or another roofing company to help me. I was shocked! I sent them another email and told them that I had contacted City Roofing and Contracting because their company name, their licenses, and their description indicates they are roofers and general contractors. City Roofing and Contracting then sent me a final email saying sorry they couldn't help me and thanking me for my interest in the company. The purpose of this review is to give an honest and accurate summary of my contacts with City Roofing and Contracting. I have no experience with their quality of work or prices. I believe the office personnel and David Emiliani are not very knowledgeable and their name and description are misleading because, apparently, they are not general contractors.

City Roofing is the BEST! After dealing with different 5 roofing companies and estimates that ranged from 700.00- 3,000. Four of the five companies never went into my attic or up on the roof. It was a nightmare until I found City Roofing. When I called City Roofing they told me they would have someone here the next morning at 8:00am to give me an estimate. At 8:00am a gentleman knocked on my door and did a thorough inspection of my roof and attic, taking pictures of the damage. When finished, he told me the office would send me an estimate within an hour by email. I receive the estimate an hour later and scheduled the work for the following week. City roofing arrived when scheduled and worked all day to complete the job. I am very pleased. Those of you that need a new roof or repairs, I strongly suggest you call them first and save yourself a lot of time and headache. It was refreshing to know there are still companies out there that are professional and take pride in their work.

Mario came by to give me an estimate he took his time explained everything, he was very knowledgeable and honest ,they give you prices in detail and specify step by step what they will be doing and offer options which is great, at no point did Mario seem to want to just give me a price and leave, he answered my many questions and was so patient through the process. By the time he left I trusted his work ethics felt he was an honest and loyal to his customers.I knew I had found the best. I had spoken to around 4 other Roofing Companies and not one of them came even close to the professionalism, organization, customer care, the promptness, quality, expertise, and the time that this Company provided. They kept their word showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would, they are neat, they work beautifully, very serious and respectful group of workers. I can't say enough good things about this Company Jackie their secretary knocks it out of the park, she is extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, kind, fast, and caring, she is amazing, and such a pleasure to deal with. They take care of everything immediately. City Roofing has quality people, service and products which makes them an AAA+++ Company. I was impressed with their pre meeting, initial meeting, their follow up, their appointment setting, their emails sending me copies of their certificates without even requesting it, after completion they show you and send you pictures of everything from the start of the job to completion. I received reminders of how thankful they were to have my business and I was as thankful for having made the best choice out there. If you choose City Roofing for your roofing needs you will not regret it, I know first hand there is no other Company out there that meets the needs of a customer as City Roofing does!I!!! I had a roof that was 23 years old, my insurance company was going to drop me do to it being patched. I called city roofing for an estimate. Mario was the person that arrived, and told me the roof was in good enough condition that he would give me a 5 year letter for insurance purposes. I decided that I wanted an estimate anyhow. we made arrangements to me the following week. Mario arrived with a complete folder with all his licenses and insurance documents, and 3 types of roofing I could install. Mario was very good in explaining the available options and the complete procedure of roof replacement. one concern was all my gutter I had installed 1 year ago. the standard size drip edge today is 3 inches, my gutters are positioned with the original 2 inch drip edge, that would require a lowering of all my gutters with the 3 inch drip edge. Mario suggested that if I like the 2 inch drip edge he could have the sheet metal shop run-off a set of 2 inch drip edge and in brown, so my gutters would not be touched. I decided to have the roof replaced. the workers arrived on a Monday and they stripped the entire roof an laid down the tare paper and all the debris was removed on the very first day.by the following Monday my new roof was done, a week later it passed final inspection. I was very pleased with city roofing and the quality of work they preformed . Mario was a pleasure to work with and will do most anything to make sure your happy with your new roof.

I selected the company out of a short list based on the price, so they were the less expensive. They started the job as scheduled and they finished as scheduled. After a year of heavy rain everything seems to be OK. Communication is excellent with the company before, during and after the job. I definitively recommend this company.

I have had some difficulties with contractors in the past, and so was probably a bit of a difficult customer. City Roofing completed the job with minimum issues and very few concerns. I micromanaged the work and was not shy about bringing every little concern to their attention. I must say that, not only were they extremely responsive, they addressed every concern immediately and without debate. I gave them a "B" on price, but I mandated they get the roof as close to current Florida code as possible. My Homeowners insurance dropped so much the roof will pay for itself in 5 years! DON'T go cheap on your roof! City Roofing wasn't the cheapest, but was worth every penny, and it wasn't that much more!

From the start, the communication was excellent and consistent to the end of the project. Every step was explained by in a highly-professional manner. I often feel like high-quality customer service is dead, so I am extremely happy to know that business like City Roofing exist!! They placed 110% focus on ensuring that we stayed informed, satisfied and happy. The tarp & assessment team of two workers arrived as promised, on-time, the next morning. They were expected between 8 and 9 am and arrived at about 8:15 am. It is important to report that the City Roofing team arrived on-time, every time. The charge to place the tarp was credited against our repair. This sensible short-term solution - tarp almost immediately & repair to follow - was greatly appreciated. When placing the tarp, the team from City Roofing identified the problem - a breach in the copper flashing surrounding a curved rotunda above the bedroom. The team in the office called to explain that the flashing should not have breached and may have been an installation issue. Copper flashing and roof tiles needed to be removed and any moisture in roofing and wood material below would require removal and replacement. It is important to note that every person we came into contact with from City Roofing was polite, courteous, knowledgeable and did their job well. For example, the day the team of of two assessed the leak and placed the tarp removed their shoes at the front door before entering our home (without being asked). They assessed evidence of the leak inside the bedroom BEFORE getting on top of our roof. When on the roof assessing damage, they looked but also brought a hose on our roof to try and recreate the leak conditions - which they successfully did. The team also took pictures and videos that were shared with us later that day to provide evidence and understanding. After this tarp placement and assessment process was complete, we received an estimate with details on exactly what work was required, along with follow-up email and a phone conversation to explain the issue and repair proposal. We received status phone calls throughout the project. They were welcome and greatly appreciated!! Turns out our job became more complicated due to the angles and curves involved at the repair location. The repair team (much larger than the initial team - about 5-6 guys at times) determined that just repairing and sealing the copper flashing, among other things, would be inadequate. They suggested building a Cricket next to the rotunda. If they just fixed as originally planned, they were concerned that the problem could reoccur due to the angles involved in installing the copper flashing and the difficulty in getting a proper long-lasting seal. If installed as originally planned it would have been our problem down the road. BUT, City Roofing wanted to go the extra mile to do the job the RIGHT WAY the first time! Fantastic!! There was no additional charge above the estimate to get the job done the best possible way!!! In fact, they went further than that to ensure a VERY HAPPY customer - - we had a handful of cracked and broken roof tiles (in various random locations on our roof) that we mentioned on the phone and during their initial visit.... We figured that it is something we could live with & deal with down the road. They wanted a better outcome for us! They called to let us know that they would fix the broken roof tiles as part of this project. No additional charge above the estimate. Our job was originally supposed to take 2-3 days but because City Roofing wanted to do it the RIGHT WAY almost two days were added for the Cricket (thank you City Roofing) and for replacement of broken roof tiles (thank you!). Outstanding job & fantastic customer service! We highly recommend City Roofing!! Thank you!!

The entire process was very professional. The office personnel as well as Erik were very informative, punctual and professional. I didn't have the leak I thought, therefore I did not require their services at this time. I am very grateful for their honesty. and professionalism.

I found City Roofing on Angies list they had great reviews so I contacted them explaining that a bedroom developed a water leak and I had just installed laminate flooring in this room. They told me they would come out at 2 pm to inspect the damage and if they couldn't repair it they would cover the roof with a tarp until repairs could be made. I received a phone call at 12 pm they were at the address waiting for me. I arrived in 5 minutes they went in the attic and on the roof found the leak and to my surprise told me that they would repair the leak. This was after I was told they had a back log up to two weeks and was told they would cover the roof with the tarp. They did a great job matched the shingles and finished the job in about three hours. They next morning we had a downpour and no leak thank you City Roofing I would use them again.

I must say the reviews for City Roofing are spot on! I just had them repair my roof and they did an amazing job. From the first moment I contacted them, I was able to speak to someone immediately to schedule an appointment. I received an email that included the license and insurance information for City Roofing along with a business card showing a picture of the gentleman that was going to provide me with a quote. The person on the phone was a pleasure to work with and she ensured that someone came out to my home as soon as possible. The gentleman that came to look at the roof was very punctual and great to work with as well. He was honest and in just a few minutes told me exactly what the issue was and took the time to explain the problem and my options. I felt very confident with his knowledge in the field and his experience clearly shows. Shortly after I was provided a quote via email as well as a thank you email for calling City Roofing. I was impressed once again with their professionalism and decided to schedule the repair with them. The team that came out to repair my roof were very punctual and friendly as well. They went right to work and went above and beyond to fix my issue, and I noticed they were very organized. The work area was cleaned up and it looks like nothing happened at all, very impressed with their work ethic an attention to detail. Once again the gentleman who came to provide me with the quote passed by to check on the team and give me an update as well. City Roofing is top notch, and I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends without a doubt.

Repair was great. I waited for two or three heavy rains before writing this review to make sure the repair was good. The City Roofing crew was professional and efficient. They arrived and completed the work as promised (within 2 or 3 hours of arrival). My roof leak was in a small area above the masterbed room. City Roofing was not the lowest of three estimated that I received, however, I went with them due to their excellent (and deserved) reputation.

Excellent service and communication throughout the entire experience using City Roofing. There was a urgency to our repair and they made every effort to get it completed as quickly as possible, especially given that we are in the middle of hurricane season. Amongst the best home vendors we have ever worked with in Miami. Will definitely recommend.
