City Roofing & Construction Inc

Last year I had several leaks in an area of the roof and I contracted City Roofing to fix it. They quoted that it would take 1 to 1.5 days and charged accordingly, but they were done in 4 hours. Less than 1 year later the same area is heavily leaking. I call them expecting that the repair would be under the 1 year guarantee. An inspector comes and confirms that the repair should be covered by the guarantee. A few minutes later Jacki Espinosa calls and gives all sorts of excuses to not cover the repair (a lot of rain this year, age of the roof, guarantee voided due to Irma hurricane, etc…). The inspector also confirmed that there was no damage in the roof related to the hurricane. I request to speak to the owner, Mario Famada several times. He has not contacted me.

Wonderful experience all around. We truly thought we needed a whole new roof bc of shingles we picked up all over our yard after hurricane Irma. JP Perez (and another employee who’s name escapes me at the moment 😩) with City Roofing inspected our roof and only found two areas that needed repair, not the entire roof. They could’ve said we needed a whole new roof and we wouldn’t have questioned it. Talk about integrity! They also went a step further by praising the work of another roofing company’s work on our addition. They didn’t know who did the work, but they said whoever it was did a great job! On top of all that, the ladies I worked with over the phone were tremendous! Professional, personable, nice, helpful, patient .... Jackie and Stephanie!! So, major kudos to City Roofing for an awesome experience all around. No need to look further!!

Excellent. I was going to replace my tile roof but for $2,000 more I was able to put on a metal roof. The workers were courteous and friendly, and their manager was one telephone call away. Very responsive when additional problems cropped up. The surveillance of the works were documented and texted to me to review daily. They provided a customer relations officer with whom I communicated both by text, email and telephone. Appointments were set when subcontractors performed work.

After initially losing the tech's notes and pictures necessitating a second inspection, things went smoothly. Very professional and punctual

This company is the only company (Out of Ten) I contacted who charged a fee for estimate..No thanks..Chose another company who was fair and did quality work..(Didn't charge for an estimate)

Since all of my transactions took place with Candy and Natasha, I give them all the credit for a job well done. City Roofing did a great job and both my wife and I are very pleased with the results. However, I'm still waiting for a South Florida downpour to put the roof to the test. Other than that, I highly recommend City Roofing because of its attention to detail.

(1) Their website said they aren't open today, but a woman answered my call. (2) Then she said, after taking my name and address, that there was a service fee of $50 for someone to come to give me an estimate. The fee would be credited to my bill, if they did work for me. (3) So I told her I'd call back if I couldn't find anyone else to repair my roof.

They wanted to charge up front fee for a re-roof estimate..I received (8) re-roof estimates, not one charged for estimate...Obviously, I did not choose City Roofing..

Mario gave me great information even before I hired him. His crew was punctual and efficient, they cleaned up after themselves. I had one concern, which they addressed immediately to my satisfaction.

Our roof had some damage from Hurricane Irma and needed repairs for loose/crack tiles and a minor leak. Among the roof contractors we called, City Roofing has shined from the onset. From a very courteous sales, on time site visit thru the completion of the work. City is very professional and has delivered quality and timely work as advertised. We are very happy with the job and their neatness in cleaning up after. We will definitely call them again for any roofing needs.

City Roofing does excellent work and is easy to work with. This is the second time I have used them for repairs, and I’m sure I will contract with them when I need a new roof. They have been very reliable and professional.

City Roofing responded quickly to my initial inquiry, offered a fixed price, and scheduled an appointment within days. The workers were prompt, polite and answered all of my questions. Best of all, the tiles were replaced, the work looks great, and there were no surprise costs.

Many contractors were not interested in these small jobs after Irma. But City Roofing does both big and small jobs. They set up an appointment to come evaluate the situation, emailed me a detailed quote, came at the appointment date a couple of days later and did a great job.

It's been two months. I left a request through Angie's list in early October. I never received a call or response through Angie's list. I also visited City Roofing's web site and left a request and phone message and still I have not heard back. I realize that Hurricane Irma caused a huge demand on the roofing industry, but I am surprised and disappointed that I have not even received a courtesy response to all my attempts from such a highly reputable company. I would still like to hear from them to schedule a site visit and obtain the requested quotations and would certainly update the review based on City's responsiveness. Thank you for your help.

Really great! They made an appointment within two days, showed up exactly when they said they would, did an excellent job, and charged me exactly what they said they would charge. Very professional and clear in their explanations.

I reached out to City Roofing to have an estimate done. After confirming over the phone the appointment time, which was two weeks out due to the deluge of work, I emailed the vendor and received confirmation of the date, time, and employee to do the work. On the day of the appointment no one showed. After an hour, called the vendor who informed me that they reached out to me on a Sunday via phone and text to confirm the appointment, which was not true. Marta was the service person who I set up the appointment. When I spoke to her afterward via email she gave me a lot of blah, blah, blah but did nothing to rectify the situation. I have rental units that needed to be fixed and this vendor failed badly on the first step. Its during stressful times like these that a company shows its mettle. City Roofer didn't.

I got no further than a phone call from this company. They wanted to charge $250 for an estimate on a new roof! Unbelievable!

They came and inspected the roof, then gave me a detailed proposal with two different options for me to choose. Once I signed the contract they returned twice to measure and check out various things before starting the job. They were very punctual once work started, and always available to answer questions or to address my concerns. I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to use them again.

Professional and attentive the whole way through.

Super organized, great follow up. I had a lot of questions and they always answered them to my satisfaction. I spoke with several members of their team as we had 2 separate repairs done over a couple of months (totally unrelated - one was due to Irma). Would recommend them to anyone who wants reliable service done correctly by people who know their business.

After the storm had passed, a small leak reappeared on part of the roof that was slightly adjacent to the section that was repaired. Although they said this was a new leak and not necessarily covered by the warranty of the first repair, they had still accepted to do it for free considering that the previous repair was done so close to the time of emergence of the new leak. Based on my prior experience with other roofing companies, I never expected them to be so "understanding". Clearly, their level of professionalism is quite high and I would recommend this company over any other without hesitation.

Repairs were scheduled for September 18 and I thought they would not be able to do them because of the hurricane. They called the Tuesday after the hurricane, rescheduled for two days after the original date and ended up doing the repairs sooner than originally scheduled. Very punctual, very professional.
