I have had several projects done by Steve and his team for both interior and exterior painting projects and they are always reliable, consistent, and take excellent care of the facilities while they are performing the project. Many times work has to be done after hours and they always work around our schedules and meet our timelines. Not to mention the quality of the job that is performed is always top notch. They are an absolute pleasure to work with.

Pleasant and efficient before and during painting. The initial estimate, though, was very high and I declined it. They came back in with a $1k reduction and I accepted. The painter arrived on time and went right to work. The painting seemed to go well, though I did have to remind the painter to skim a couple of times in the kitchen and bath. (Skimming the ceilings of both is in the contract.) There was also an issue with a pot rack removed by the painter prior to painting. He could not get it back up. I said don’t worry. I’ll get someone to remount it. He then couldn’t remove the anchor screws so he pushed these very large and long screws into and through the wall. They emerged through my exterior wall and entered my electrical box. He did try to repair damage but I had to bring in an plasterer and electrician. I contacted CertaPro. Crickets. Still haven’t heard from them. The last thing I will add is that the kitchen and bathroom ceilings are ALREADY PEELING. I called the painter. His response: “You’re using too much hot water when you shower.” I guess he thought that explained everything. I’ve not heard from CertaPro. We are now 2 months from the dates of the painting ordeal. Find another company. These people are not professional or customer-oriented.

We couldn’t be happier with the quality of work we have received from CertaPro Painters. In 2018, they repainted the outside of our 1926 home in Coconut Grove, Florida. Because our experience with CertaPro was so positive, when we had the entire interior of the house repainted in May 2019, we turned immediately to CertaPro without getting bids from other companies, knowing their pricing would be competitive and their work would be of the highest quality. In both experiences, we got a thorough quote from Leo, excellent follow-through from David, and an outstanding job of stucco and plaster repair and painting from Hector and his team of workers. Both the exterior and interior required a coat of primer and two coats of the new color. Our house now looks beautiful inside and out. This is a company that communicates with their clients thoroughly and frequently and that clearly takes pride in work well done. They can be trusted to do what they say they are going to do. Our team of painters was at the house every day for long hours until the jobs were finished. Because they send a team of workers daily, the work is done quickly without any compromise in the quality of the painting. The patching and repair work they do to plaster and stucco makes the surfaces look like new. The trim work on doors and moldings and the colors on the walls are flawless. Their clean-up at the end of the project is as thorough as the painting process itself. I give CertaPro Painters my highest recommendation and feel confident in recommending them to anyone looking for an honest, conscientious, highly professional painting company. I called and Leo came punctually when expected, he walked around the property and sent an itemized estimate for the work. Scheduling the start went smoothly and began as planned. For the most part I am happy with the work, there were some issues after two days with the paint but they returned immediately and fixed the problem.

I met with Steve Vertesch at my house. He gave a serious and professional pitch, promising to do a good job at a good price. So, I hired CertaPro to paint the exterior of my house. I never saw Steve again. He sent out his operations guy to "supervise" a crew of two other men. The "supervisor" was rarely at the house. The two workers worked hard but too fast and were sloppy. They ran out of daylight one evening and kept trying to paint the exterior in the dark! I had to go out and tell them to stop and go home. They seemed a bit put out by that. I called Steve to ask for his assistance and intervention. Again, he was professional and polite but only sent out his mediocre operations "supervisor" guy to check on the job. A few examples of their shortcomings... -They taped plastic sheeting over windows & doors but it came loose and primer was over-sprayed onto the glass doors. -Dripped paint on our walkway and red tile roof. -Over sprayed some areas and missed some others. -Sloppy job patching fascia board and painting it. In the end I had a punch list of about 15 items. The "supervisor" came out & I walked around with him to go over the list. They fixed most of them but the process wasn't as painless as it should have been. I was going to have the interior of my house painted also. But after the less than stellar work and the amount of effort it took me to get them to do a mediocre job, I'm going to hire someone else.

They did not charge me for the quote. They are great. I did not use them because they did not have the lowest price. I offered the job to another provider, then when I told them I was sorry I was not going to use them, they said "Awe, I wish you would have told us first, we would have met your price". If I had known, then I would have gone through them, because I had already had a coupon. Otherwise they were great. If I had another job, I would absolutely consider using them again.

We met Steve Vertesch at the Miami Home show. We were impressed with him and his presentation from the start. There were many painting contractors at the show but Steve and CertaPro stood out. We did have a few come to the house for an estimate. Steve's presentation was very professional and we knew we would select him to paint our house. We were replacing our roof so we had to schedule after roof completion. And we were going to replace all the windows and doors. The window and door project kept getting pushed back. Since we replaced all the wood soffit and fascia, we needed to get the new wood soffit and fascia painted since it was bare. Steve worked with us to only have it painted and leave the house for later. Now we're ready to select the color for the house. We were not finding the perfect color in Sherwin Williams color palette. We we talked to Steve about this, he said he also can work with Benjamin Moore. We found the perfect color and were very happy we had this choice. The whole house painting process was smooth and professional. We knew if any issues came up, CertaPro and Steve would resolve quickly. We love how our house now looks thanks to Steve and his associates! I would highly recommend Steve Vertesch and his CertaPro team.

The owner walked through the house with me and really took the time to understand my visions for each of the rooms we needed to paint. The painters were always on time and very professional. The paint job was good. not amazing but good and very efficient. Issues arose due to a rush job however and as a result when reassembling closet shelving they ended up putting it back wrong, which was a major headache and painter on job was rude in responding to me asking to fix. the manage was professional and i would have them paint again, but would just be much more mindful of how things look before they paint so that things are put back together.

Painter showed up in timely fashion. Worked from 9am to 7pm for two days to get the job done. I had noticed some areas that needed touch up, he was responsive immediately and made sure I was 100% satisfied. I'd recommend CertaPro Painters to anyone interested in having a professional painting company paint their home.
