To begin, the company arrived at the appointment late, then the gentleman immediately stated that he had another job to get to and that he might not have enough time to finish the current project. Next, the gentleman started to complain about the job that he was assigned, stating that it would take him too long complete and was too complicated for him to do. Then, the gentleman refused to read the instructions provided to build the reminding part of the item(the item was almost fully finished before he arrived). When then the gentleman finally went to his truck to get the tools that he needed to start the build(drill and tape measure), he never even started it. All of this wasted 45 minutes of the appointment time. The assignment was to finish the remaining roof of a Wooden Pergola bought at lowes (instructions, screws, everything provided ..except drill and tape measure). This meant that he had to follow the instructions, by measuring and placing the (total of 7) 4 x 4 pre-cut and pre-drilled wooden beams in the pre-drilled holes, and then finally place the (the total of 12) smaller 2 x 2 precut and pre-drilled wooden beams in the pre-drilled holes to create the roof (note: everything else was finished) This company is unprofessional, and if they consider themselves handymen, builders, and or woodsmen then they should find a new craft.

Brixton Construction are super reliable, they fix everything they were supposed to and with a very professional level, I would definitely recommend anyone to call them if you need something to be fixed or any other tipe of jobs.

I had a terrible experience with Carlos. He did not complete the job as agreed. Whatever work he did was very low-quality work. I will NOT recommend him for any job. DO NOT HIRE HIM. Terrible

Punctual and very communicative!

Charged $1,100 to re-paint my pool deck. I agreed to this price. I ended up paying him $1050. He said he gets his products from a place that sells products specific for redoing pool decks--never Home Depot because their products are subpar. The young man who shows up to do the work has a can of Behr Concrete and Garage 1-Part Epoxy Coating from Home Depot ($36.98). He stained the cushion on one of my lounge chairs. He stained the large rocks I just had put in the back border of the deck. He stained the floor surrounding the deck. He let the paint drip into the pool. He left a lump of dry, hard grout in the yard. I later found the half-empty bag of grout tucked behind my wheelbarrow. Once he **finished** the job, he threw all his tools away--a large 5-gallon bucket, paint roller, etc. I have never seen a professional company just throw out its tools. What do I know? Final product? I had to go back and repaint because once the paint (Tuf Top Concrete Floor and Driveway Enamel/Stain ($36-$40, depending on whether you get it at Walmart or Benjamin Moore) dried, there were noticeable white patches and raw concrete. I texted Carlos and let him know about the patchiness. He said he would be by on a week when there would be no rain. Thankfully, he never showed up. Smooth talker. Maybe I did not shake the can hard enough but the parts I did are noticeably lighter than what he painted. Would I hire him again? Never. I see others did well with Carlos Dtrinidad of Brixton Construction, but I did not.

They really showed that they cared

Did not show up the first day when they were supposed to and informed me of the reason once I had contacted them. Did not provide me with a contract/receipt until after the work was complete and money collected. Rushed the work on the last day and the job does not look good.

Brixton was very professional and had great customer support. He would always get back to me at a desired time. He also cleaned after he finished each job.
