Bob's Plumbing Co

I can't rate the price because I have no idea what other plumbing companies would charge. I was very pleased with the company overall. Their plumbers showed up when they were supposed to and did quality work. We passed all the inspections and the inspectors were familiar with the quality work that Bob's Plumbing does. One thing for which they went above and beyond: I had a sink strainer I had purchased on-line to go with a new kitchen sink. They couldn't install it; the pipe size was all wrong so they gave me a standard (read: cheap) one, and I wasn't happy. So John, the owner, came over after two plumbers tried to install it, and said the thing must be defective. He called the sink strainer company and spoke with the owner. Long story short, I ended up buying a high-quality strainer/basket that they recommended and they installed it after showing me the difference between the two. Bottom line, they didn't just give up, they made me happy.

Everything went horribly. The company was rude and insulting. When I called them on Monday, they said they would be out tomorrow. Then, the receptionist said they might not be able to make it out the next day. I called them back and asked what they meant. They said if something had cleared up, they would be out that same day. I called the next morning and asked when they would be out, I spoke to the receptionist, Lori, she said they were very busy and that I didn't understand. She was very negative and twisted my words. She told me someone would call me. I requested that someone call me on my cell phone. They ended up calling me on my home phone with less than 5 minutes warning that they were coming over. The gentleman that came over was knowledgeable, but was complaining about his previous job that he was on, how tired he was, how hot he was, etc. He was then complaining about the brand that my toilet was. The gentleman was complaining about the part that I had to have ordered, like it was a hassle and the fact that my other toilet was very badly clogged. They came at 1:40 and were out of here in under 2 hours. They said they couldn't finish the job and what they needed to do was take the other toilet off. They were leaving this job unfinished. The plumber said he would follow up with me the next day on both toilets. He never called me. I hesitated calling the company back because I did not feel welcome the previous time that I had called. When I called, the receptionist seemed to be annoyed and said that the plumber was working on trying to find me a part and they were dealing with a bigger job. Lori also stated that she could tell I was not going to be happy and there was nothing we could do that would make me happy. I told her that this wasn't the case and that she was putting words in my mouth. I told her that I wanted to speak with the owner of the company. I needed to know if this issue was going to be resolved or if I was going to need to call another company. She said he would call me tomorrow because he was on a job and I said I needed to be called back today. I told her all I needed was 5 minutes of his time to explain the situation and find out what's going on. They are a customer service and communication nightmare. The owner did not call me until the next morning. At this point, it was Friday morning and I had first contacted them on Monday morning. I still have a stopped up toilet. The owner acknowledged that his employees were rude to me and he was rude to me himself. When we started discussing what times they were at my house, it turns out that I was right about what time they were here, the owner got frustrated and terminated the call. The company might be knowledgeable, but it is not worth the trouble and aggravation. It was like trying to deal with a dysfunctional family.

The repair went well. I had used them once before and will use them again. I did not rate the price because I did not get other estimates and I don't know what the price should be.

They are very good. They quickly solved our problem the last time they came. They went above and beyond for us.

They were prompt, professional and punctual. All the crew members were extremely polite and respectful. Their pricing was reasonable and the quality of their work was good.

The experience was very good. He was very helpful, but I am always asking questions. The problem I am running into in Miami is the plumbers that can't speak English. Their price is fair and they do a good quality work. They are always on time, and very professional. I would consider using this company again in the future.

They are really excellent. Their price is competitive. They will be the only ones I will be using in the future.

These were two separate jobs that they completed for me over the years. It was a good interaction. They are on time and pleasant. Nothing extraordinary, but they get the job done at a fair price. They are reliable.

It was great. They did a wonderful job and charged a fraction of what I would normally pay. They were clean, nice, and local, and spoke English.

They were able to come out right away. They showed up on time. They got the job done quickly. They did a very good job. The technicians were very nice and friendly.

I've been using him for at least ten years, and I've always been absolutely satisfied. He's the only plumber that I will call out to my house. John usually comes out and does the work for me, and he's absolutely wonderful. They have a pretty fair price, and I would recommend them to others, and I will continue to use them in the future as well.

They came on time, made adjustments on what needed to be done, and did the job in an excellent craftsman's way. The plumber and his helper (father and son) were very amiable and considerate!

They did a good job and I would use them again.

This was the second call to the company. This time two trucks came at a time that was convenient to my work schedule. Joe returned with John, a very experienced plumber. Very quickly they realized that the beautiful coconut palm in my front yard was the problem. The line was cleared of roots and an estimate for repairing the lines ($1500) once the tree was removed was given.

The receptionist and I got into an argument. I had to call them back and she told me not to bother calling back and that they didn't want my service. She hung up on me more than one time after I asked to speak to someone other than her like her boss. The man who came out for the estimate didn't ever come back after he said he would. His boss called about a week later to ask if we still wanted the service, we said No. They wanted to install this pipe illegally using plastic instead of copper.

Went well. Suggested that we get a new water heater, since the one we had was nearly 15 years old. Rather than flushing.

I have only good things to say about this plumber. He's an expert on all plumbing matters. We think he's the best.

They were around half the cost of some others estimates and was ready to do the job right away. His work was amazing and he cleaned up very well. I liked that the owner came to verify the estimate was correct and afterward to check on how the job turned out.

First class! I've never had a plumber, who I would give all A's to, but they deserve it!

Original appointment was for a Monday morning. At noon, I called to see if they were coming. At 4:00 p.m. I was told he would be there on Tuesday. Tuesday it was determined that new parts needed to be ordered, and the work would be done on Wednesday (Thursday was Thanksgiving). On Friday around noon, the work began and was completed by 5:00 pm. I was satisfied with the work, but not with having to spend the week at the house waiting.

They arrived sooner than I would have expected and finished faster than I expected them to.

John borrowed a towel to cover the tub and prevent scratching of the enamel. I wasn't told I would not get the towel back. When the job was done, the towel, as well as all the garbage, went with him. He wiped up the areas he worked in as best as possible. He was on time and courteous.

Punctual, polite, and respectful of the home. Larry wiped his feet before entering the home each time, placed tools on top of a towel instead of directly onto counter tops. I really appreciated that! Seemed a little expensive for 4 hours of labor?

Service was excellent. The plumber knew immediately what the problem was and did a great job. Also, he was very polite and left no mess. His name was Leo. Also the lady on the telephone was extremely helpful and set me up with an appointment immediately.
