+ -1 moreTruly a great experience ! Had a nightmare problem with carpenter ants and Bob came out and explained what the whole process was to get rid of them. His employees came out a few days later and exterminated inside and out. The ants disappeared a few days later as Bob said they would. Price was reasonable and service was great . I would highly recommend Bob's Bug's to both family and friends.

Description of Work: I called Bob,s Bugs for an ant invasion in my home and to also check for termites. Bob, the owner, came out and checked the whole property and gave his recommendations which included spraying the outside of house for ants, spraying palms for white flys and spraying yard for insects and fertilizing. I thought he was very honest in his assesment and estimate. They did the treatments and returned for a second ant spraying when they were still coming in the house. The second time seemed to stop the invasion. I did not have termites and there was no charge for their return visit

+ -1 moreGreat Service! Bob come over an hour earlier than planned and did a walk around the inside and outside of the home. He pointed out some problem areas and provided advice on how to correct them. His staff arranged to have the home sprayed the same day due to my mother getting out of the hospital the next day and her having a respiratory condition. Lionel showed up in a couple of hours and got right to work. He sprayed the inside and fogged the attic and then sprayed the outside of the home. Well we have had no more carpenter ant invasions which makes me very happy. Can't say enough about the service. I plan on having Bob's service take care of all of my pest control in the future. Thanks Bob to you and your staff.

+ -1 moreI am happy to report that several rats have been eliminated (inside and out) and it appears that the worst is over. Bob was very informative and explained what may have drawn them in the first place and future preventative things I can do. I found him to be very professional, trustworthy, cost competitive, prompt, and am very impressed at his follow up. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having a pest problem of any kind. I would not hesitate to call him in the future. I am very happy with his service.
Description of Work: I had a problem with rats. When I saw one run across my dining room floor, I freaked out and immediately got on Angie's List and checked out pest control companies in my area. I had several on my list to call. Bob's Bugs was the second company I called and there was no need to call more. I instinctively trusted Bob after talking to him and he came over that same day and made a thorough inspection of my house and discovered where they were getting in and plugged up the holes. He put several covered traps around the perimeter of the house and a couple of covered traps inside in the area I had seen the rat.

Description of Work: UPDATE FOR MARCH 28th, 2012 After submitting my initial review I was contacted by Bob's Bugs and was immediately taken care of. They said that there was some miscommunication, so I suppose that that was the reason for such poor service. After speaking with them, they quickly faxed over the information I requested about the company and called my tenant, scheduled an appointment and I believe that they did their job exceptionally well. I had multiple calls from Bob and his assistant informing me of their progress and their follow up work. ALTHOUGH MY INITIAL EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS NEGATIVE, I WILL CONTINUE USING THEM IN THE FUTURE. I BELIEVE SOMETIMES WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES AND IT'S HOW WE DEAL WITH THOSE MISTAKES THAT DEFINES US AS PEOPLE AND COMPANIES. BOB'S BUGS DID A GREAT JOB OF RECTIFYING THE PROBLEM AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE THAT I WAS WELL INFORMED AND HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. GOOD JOB GUYS. A+ ALL THE WAY AROUND. March 20th, 2012 I called and ask for an estimate on an extermination and was quoted $110 for a small one bed room apartment. We scheduled a time for them to come out and I asked them to email me copies of the license, insurance, etc for our record. I never got it. After that phone call was the last I heard from them. My tenant called me two weeks later and told me that he still had a roach infestation. I called Bob's Bug and asked if they had gone in a done a treatment and was told yes, but I never received a bill or a phone call or any other information indicating that it had been done. I called them again and told them that the tenant still had a roach problem and they said that they would go out there and do another treatment. That's the last I ever heard from them. No bill, no followup, no nothing.... not wasting my time with them anymore.

+ -1 moreThey came and Bob is very knowledgeable about lawn diseases and bugs, he explained my situation and went ahead a sprayed the proper chemicals in the lawn. I will have to wait some time to see the results of the work. They also sprayed my house and parts of outside for insects and roaches. Until further notice i am very happy with the service, if the issues are resolved i will be even happier and continue using his services.

+ -1 moreThe ficus hedge had been sprayed 3 months earlier by another company; but after a few months I still had leaf curl and no new green leaf growth. I was worried that I might have to replace my 6 foot hedges and start all over. I called Bob's Bugs from Angie's List and made an appointment with Dominic. He showed up right on time, and he told me it would last longer and be much more effective to inject the ficus hedges at the root. He said I could expect new growth in about 4 weeks and he was right. The hedges now look healthy and full of new green leaves. I would recommend Dominic and Bob's Bugs to anyone needing knowledgeable advice and treatment for pest control.
Description of Work: I had the ficus hedge on both sides of my property treated for whitefly,and had one sickly palm tree treated as well.

He said that he would give us a discount for using the water. He took off $2 and that was a disappointment. Other than that they were pretty good. They were here when they said they would. They were professional. I may use them in the future.

+ 0 moreI purchased a re-sale home a year ago and was experiencing insect problems inside and outside of my home. I reviewed ratings on exterminators on Angie's List. I was not interested in signing a contract which is required by some other companies. Have to say I am not the easiest to please, but I am totally and completely happy with the service and recommendations I received from Dominic (quality control manager). Dominic visited with me yesterday to access the problems I was having. He correctly identified the different insects found inside and outside my home. I had concerns I was dealing with termites due to residue/wood shavings located by my baseboards, but Dominic quickly informed me it was ants and not termites. We arrainged for service to be done today and boy did he put in a tremendous effort exterminating our home. I am thrilled withi his honesty and explanation. He could easily have sold me a more expensive service. I also loved the idea I did not have to commit to a contract. I totally and highly recommend Bob's Bygs to anyone needing extermination services. You will be pleased as I was.

+ 0 morebob was recommended by my sister.he had done some lawn work for her,and she was extremely pleased with him.i called and and bob came out to the house.we walked around the house and he pointed out what problems i was having he gave me a few options for treatment,which i thought were reasonable(i had already interviewed two other companies).i agreed to let bob do the work.it's been about 5 weeks and i'm startingto see the improvement bob said i would see,that's why i waited to write this. i'm glad i went with a small company .i wasn't asked to sign a contract, which is one of the things i liked.bob told me,if yournot happy with the service you can stop it at any time.BRAVO BOB!
