Overall the experience went well. It was a very busy time (Jan 2018) for such repairs across the county I'm sure. Eddie gave a window and sure enough he called to confirm a time for the roof work to begin!

Efficient, professional, thorough service. The pricing is competitive. The work crew made some mistakes but management corrected everything without a hassle. Overall we are satisfied with a job well done.

I highly recommend Big Al's for the excellent and professional work they performed in my house. They were always on time and left everything impeccably clean and tidy. One of the most important things I took into consideration to hire them was the explanation I received when they came to give me the free estimate, so that I could see in detail the work that was going to be done. When the workers started the job, they were all responsible and worked tirelessly from beginning to end. What a relief to know my roof was taken care of by such wonderful people! Al is punctual and professional. Gave us a reasonable quote for our roof repair, and is very understanding about having to deal with insurance company when it's comes to the payment. Finished the job on time, and leave the job site clean. He even recommended a painter who turned out to be as good as Al is. I would highly recommend his company.

Big Al’s was a true blessing in our time of need. Eddie, Al’s brother, was our point of contact during the entire process, and was always available and prompt whenever we had a question, even late night. The company is very straightforward with how long it will take (and they were very quick—even our neighbors remarked on their speed and quality of work). They took care of everything—the permits, the inspections, everything by the Book and they never went over budget. I can’t say enough about how painless a process this was. We now have a gorgeous roof with a ten-Year guarantee, and it is the envy of the neighborhood. They did fantastic work and I’d recommend them without reservation.

Scheduled an appt and "Eddie" from Big AL's made it as promised. He was friendly, explained that they don't do a particular repair (metal fascia) and so they weren't the company for us. But I appreciated the prompt scheduling for an estimate and the clear explication of why we should or should not do something. If I needed non-fascia work, I'd definitely consider them.

They were on time and even called ahead to say they were on their way. We thought we had more damage than we actually did and they were honest and said they could just glue the few broken tiles back for us.

Scheduled an appointment and came right a way, and on time. Very courteous and professional but asked me about roof, had no knowledge there was a problem. They only flew a drone over my roof and gave me a reasonable quote for the repair. I then found out from my husband that we did indeed have two leaks. They told me they would have to come back out to reevaluate. called them twice to schedule a new appointment and never heard from them again.

The company's representative explained to me the difference between a "re-roofing" job, and purchasing a completely new roof. Because the company's representative explained this to me, and explained to me that I did not need a completely new roof; he helped me to save a great deal of money. Although the job took much longer than usual (32 days) due to the very rainy season, I was very pleased with the final re-roofing job. The completion delays--caused by very rainy weather, and a failure to pass my city's first inspection-- were worth the wait. I also added another layer of roofing protection to prevent leaks which added $1900 to the base price of $10,600. My purchasing of this additional roofing protection was optional, but added more time to completion of this roofing job. The company's representative, Eddie Hernandez, was always polite, and always responded to my text, or phone messages very promptly, courteously, and professionally.

I called Big Al's a couple of days after Irma and his brother came by right away. We set a date for the following week to do the job. They were punctual and I guess I will not know for sure if they did a great job until the next hurricane comes by and and the roof ridges stay put. The tile that had to be replaced did not match the color of our original tiles, but since it was only one tile, it is not too noticeable. I'm happy with the responsiveness of the company.

Came out when they promised and addressed all the issues. This was the third time we have used him to repair our roof. They will be our first call for any roofing needs.

A+ After careful consideration of bids and discussions with 6 companies, we selected Big Al's ......well actually Al himself because he was honest, thorough, and didn't bs. The price was not the highest or lowest (it was right where it should be) but I liked the reviews and his overall professional demeanor. We trusted him which is hard to do in Miami. Without pressuring, he was the only company that followed up a few days after the quote to see if we had any additional questions and not in an aggressive way. The job went very smooth. Since we just entered rainy season he kept me posted when they were going to work, even on the weekends and they were efficient, thorough, and communicated if they ran into any issues. Al helped with referrals for people to fix other little things as well. I will continue to use them and I have already referred this company to my neighbors looking to do roof work. They were all impressed watching his team work.

Big Al's came when they said they would to make a quote. What really surprised us was that the quote they made for this job was 250% higher than the quote we finally contracted for and 140% higher than the third bid we considered. And even worse, this was proferred as a "today only" price. If we wanted time to consider other bids Big Al would increase his price by 25%! I expect such pressure tactics from a used car dealer, but not from a technical professional.

Big Al's Roofing did an excellent job on a difficult commercial roof. He exceeded my expectations in the quality, accuracy to detail, and neatness of his company's work. His bid was the best of the bids I received for the type of roof he installed, TPO roof. He did what he said he would do. He did not cut corners to maximize his profit. He spent above the contract price to comply with the code requirements and he did not increase the agreed upon price. Prior to starting the job, he had great patience taking considerable time explaining the benefits of a TPO roof. He provided this customer with a good education on the various re-roof products available. He showed further patience waiting for the right-of-way to use the city's property that adjoined my property to do the job. He demonstrated very good administrative skills when he met with the city's administrative officers to get permission to use the city's property to do the job. It is clear from my positive experience with Big Al's Roofing, L.L.C., that he gives each job his personal attention. He will do what is necessary to get the job done in a timely manner. He will complete the job with excellent workmanship and he will go beyond the call of duty to keep his contractual agreements with his customers.

Al gave me a time frame as to when everything would be complete and they actually completed the job ahead of schedule. They only use top of the line products.

It's a surprisingly useful tool, and it was great to be able to see the house from all angles as the work was completed.
