Bee Wise

Great! When I saw the reviews about Bee Wise on Angie's List, I called Valter to ask his opinion about another contractor who had given me a very expensive and extensive scope of work to remove honeybees from the roof area, and to see if he would give me an estimate. He very tactfully schooled in what should/should not be done, and it was clear I had almost made a bad and expensive mistake. The Bee Wise phone estimates were less than the other company by almost two-thirds. Marcel, a subcontractor, came out the next day, broke the stucco in the soffit area and removed all the honeycomb (picture below). So grateful for the honesty, the professionalism, the fair price, and quick turnaround. Clearly, Bee Wise is a first-class operation. Thank you.

Terrific. Valter had someone out the next day who removed the bees and honeycomb. He made quick work of the project. I would certainly hire him again, but hope I don't need to. Sorry I don't remember the cost, but can tell you the other estimate was more than double his price. More info on yel review. Sorry this review is so late. Forgot what I paid him, but it was much, much cheaper than my other estimate.

... it went very well. I texted the picture ... The owner called me back directly with his observation. My conversation with the owner was about the environmental concern for the bees. He was very informed on the issue and clarified what the problem is with regard to the bees: the issue is that they are disappearing and we don't where they are going and why. There are no bodies to do the research that will give the government concrete data. ... The job was done quickly and if there are any more problems, they will return a fix the issue.

They were awesome.

Excellent service. Really quick response. The job was performed the same day I called. Valter explained what kinds of insects we had, what he was going to do, and at the end of service he even gave my kids a little biology lessons on the larvae, and Mud Dobbers.

Mr. Silveira came out the day after our call (7/5/16), surveyed the yard and house and sprayed in the crawl-space under the house. After a few days the bees were still entering the house so Mr Silveira returned to check our property again and he noticed a few bees hovering around the top of the fireplace chimney. Mr. Silveira's son went up on the top roof of our two-story home and noticed a crack in the exterior fireplace chimney where the bees were entering the house and sprayed at that location. Mr. Silveira's son also took a photo & emailed it to us so we could show the roofers exactly where they needed to seal the crack/opening (hive could not be removed since the fireplace opening had been blocked/cemented in years ago). Within a few days there were no more bees and as of this date we are still bee free. This is a family-owned and operated business and the Silveira's are very detail-oriented, explain the actions they are taking very thoroughly, efficient (ie: the photo), prompt in solving the problem and reliable in providing the service. They obviously take pride in their work. I would use their service again and would refer them to others as well. Thank you. 7/26/16

I called another company that was referred by a well known exterminating company. After a long lecture about types of bees, types of removals, cost, etc, I was directed to their website to fill out a work order. Called a few days later. Was told to fill out another work order. 2 days later, a worker showed up around 6 pm, told me how tired he was and showed me pictures of the other job he had done that day. Then told me someone would call me tomorrow. Someone called me tomorrow,. but when I told him I was at work, he said he would have to rearrange his schedule and would call me later. That's when I joined Angie's list and found Valter. Called him at 6:30 that night, he was out the next day. Called me at work to explain my options and prices. I got home a couple of hours later and the bees were gone. Thank you Valter and Angie! And I'm still waiting for the other company to call me back!

Valter came out and sprayed to get rid of bees in the front of my house, inside the rock wall. He was so kind and explained to me that the spray usually works, but if not he would come out and spray again. Well, unfortunately for me he came out again but the spray didn't work. He told me I must have a huge colony in my wall. So I scheduled Valter to come and take apart some of my wall. Thank goodness we did - he pulled out so many honeycombs. There were thousands of bees!! He was so nice and explained everything to me. I definitely recommend him!

I called Valter, at 9 am on Memorial Day morning and he was at the house in an hour! Never thought I'd even get someone to answer the phone on a holiday. He was very knowledgable, personable...didn't cause more damage to the drywall in the ceiling than was absolutely necessary. Job was done, quickly, cleanly and at a very fair price. I would highly recommend Valter. If you have bees, don't waste your time shopping around too long, just call Valter.

They were very punctual and were able to come out the very next morning, to remove two large bee hives. I am happy to say that everything went smoothly. I would definitely use them again!

I called Bee Wise to removed a Bee Hive on my roof. They came the next morning, Valter and Son. They were polite, professional and did a excellent job.

I called Valter, the owner, on Saturday evening, he was at our house first thing Monday morning. He arrived exactly when he said he would and did a great job. He was professional and personable. I would highly recommend him. Hopefully, I will not have any future bee problems, but if I do I will definitely call Valter at Bee Wise.

hWe discovered bees in our home and search the web for a company that could eliminate the problem. It was an emergency since we had our your granson staying with us. I explained the emergency to Mr. Silveira. He promised to be at our home within 45 minutes. He also quoted a price for the service explaining it could change depending on what he found. He arrived within 35 minutes; discovered where the hive was and worked several hours eliminating the bees and removing the hive which included about 20 pounds of honey. The price he quoted was the amount we paid. He and his assistant were dressed neatly in uniforms designating the company name. He provide us with a written bill and a guarantee for the service he performed. He was courteous, knowledgeable and explained what he was going to do before he did it. We felt very comfortable with everything he did every step of the way. We are bee free. Thank you, Mr. Silveira!

I was not sure the source of the bugs - if they were termites or ants or something else but he determined that the house had several infestations of carpenter ants that had probably been growing as a result of storm damage from Hurricane Wilma. He told me how he would treat the problem and provided an estimated cost. Based on recommendations from other people who uses his company, I asked him to do the work which he arranged to do around my work schedule within the next two days. He responded to my initial phone call about service within an hour and arrived on time for each appointment. He brought his son back to do the actual treatment at my house which appears to have been successful. I met him at my house and left a key for them to lock up when they were finished and everything was in order when I got home (and the carpenter ants were gone).

Very easy to arrange and appointment on your schedule and they are punctual. They have amazing knowledge of insects. I have only had one problem with ants while using their service. They helped me find the White Footed Ant's nest and eliminate them. Other than that one time my south Florida home is virtually bug free!

WHEN I SAW A TERMITE IN MY HOME I CALLED EXCEL, AND THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT IMMEDIATELY. THEY SPRAYED THIS INVISIBLE AND UNSCENTED SPRAY TO KEEP MY DOG FROM GETTING SICK.
