+ -1 moreHe is responsive and he got back to us quickly. He is confident. The only thing that I didn’t like was that he was not able to do everything that a handyman would do. There are some things beyond his abilities. In our case he was not able to do fencing and structural work on our doors. He replaced the racks in our closets. We would use him again. I thought the price was good.
Description of Work: We used Bauer Home Basics LLC two years ago to fix some closets and racks.

Description of Work: He has done a few things for me- some floor tile replacement and some minor electrical (like replacing fans). He charges by the hour and is very efficient.

+ -1 moreI was very happy with him. He was very polite, kindly, and knowledgeable. What I had seen on the recommendation made me happy with him. I used him more than once because the first time I used him he showed up on time and spoke English. He knew what he was doing and didn?t try to do anything he didn?t know how to do.

+ -1 moreI called and left him a message, and he called back within 15 minutes. We scheduled an appointment, he was very prompt, courteous, professional, and did a great job. He left everything neat, did not leave a mess.
Description of Work: Checked dishwasher for drainage problem, checked doorbell, hung 4 pictures and did minor repair to 2 of the picture frames, glued a couple of wood items, and looked at porch roof (for future repair).

+ 0 moreKurt Bauer is one of the most professional individuals I have ever met. He explained everything he would do in advance, and gave us an estimate which actually turned out to be reliable! He was on-time, extremely knowledgeable, and courteous. Ultimately, I would refer BHB again & again!
Description of Work: BHB worked on our French doors; they were rotted out in a few places. Kurt Bauer was the representative who came to our house to give us an estimate. He actually advised us to replace the doors, but because we were having an outdoor celebration that weekend, time did not allow for that. We made an appointment for him to return the next day to fix the doors. I can only say that I was extremely impressed with the results!

+ 3 moreBHB has always returned my calls immediatly. Kurt has set appointments and been to each one on time ready to work. He is efficient, precise and clean. BHB is reasonably priced and completed the jobs for me on the first try. Kurt has been very flexible with his hours to accomodate my schedule. I have recommended the company to 3 different friends and they each have commented what a great job BHB has done.
