She is somehow able to identify the point of balance between price and value. I will always shop her sales , whether I am looking for something or not. Because I ALWAYS find something, some prize, and Fran and the staff are delightful.

+ -1 moreFran, from Baron Estate Sales, showed up at my house, inspected all the furniture in my home, whent in every room, took tons of pictures on my furniture. Stated that even though there were not enought items to do an estate sale, she had clients that would be interested in buying. Took many pictures and said she would list the items online for sale and advertise them. She knew I was pressed for time as I was closing on the sell of my home within a few weeks of speaking with her. She left making promises that she would get back to me the next day with prices and information for the online listing. Fran did not call back. I called on numerous ocations and left messages on her voice mail, waited for days for her response. At one point when she picked up the phone she didnt? even know who I was. She made me waste many days when I could have been looking for someone else. Very unprofessional. Very irresponsible.
Description of Work: Came to my home. Looked at all items that I wanted to sell. Said that they were not enough to do an estate sale but they would sell the items online.

Very pleased with all I have gotten. Prices were reasonable. I am always checking the upcoming events and reviewing the pictures. They are exciting to visit.

After she photographed the most appealing items and posted them on her website, a crowd was waiting for the door to open on the first dale of the sale. She had plenty of crew members on hand to manage security and sales, and the proceeds she generated were well within our expectations. She was pleasant to work with, totally professional and very efficient.

+ 1 moreWondering how you're going to handle the very trying and painful task of breaking down and liquidating a loved one's life's keep sakes? Fran Miller of Baron Estate Sales is the perfect person for this difficult mission. When we first met Fran she introduced herself with a warm handshake and equally warm smile. She then began the process of releaving my brother and myself of the arduous and quite honestly painful process of selling off our mother's estate. Fran would allow for some "guilt trip" keepsakes, but by and large, helped us to remove what really didn't matter. And after her expertly run sale, she was able to point us to someone who bought the remaining items in one fell swoop; saving us the trouble of dealing with the really little things. Overall, because of Fran, one of the most emotionally trying times of our lives was made easy. Would we reccomed Fran and her staff again? Abolutely! Thank you, Fran- Randi Michelson Larry Michelson
Description of Work: Our family was in need of an estate sale to liquidate my mother's entire home. We had to deliever a completely empty home by end of escrow and our mother lived there forover 50 years! You can only imagine the amount of stuff she had accumulated, expensive or worth pennies. It didn't matter, the entire home and outdoor storage facility had to be emptied. We found Fran Miller of Baron Estate Sales through a Google search. She was prompt and professional at our first meeting. She walked around and evalutated items both large and small. Nothing escaped her eye. She took pictures of everything putting them on her website and beginning to "advertise" our sale to her more than 3,600 followers of her weekly emails. Fran recognized my mother's artwork for what it was and accurately assessed the value of each of them. Her expert staff had the home prepped for sale day without interruption to the person living there. The sale was a huge success further attesting to Fran's knowledge for pricing and selling. After the sale the home was left clean and put back together. All that we had asked for was accomplished and we were very satisfied with Fran and her staff at Baron Estate Sales.

+ -1 moreMs. Fran Miller represented Baron, and we found her to be professional and competent. She worked with us the week before the sale and reviewed what we wanted to sell and not sell. The sale went on for two days, and she and her helpers priced and staged everything. We sold tools, books, china and glassware, clothes, and just about anything you could imagine. Having Baron help us was such a relief, as they took all the pressure away and made what could have been a difficult process enjoyable. Baron attracted over 50 potential buyers and we consider the whole event a success. I'd use them again in a second!
Description of Work: Conducted a sale of our possessions in our home. Places newspaper ad and brought in buyers whom they knew from previous sales.

+ 2 moreFran met with us regarding doing an estate sale in Kendall for a 3 bedroom condo. Once she saw what we had (3 bedroom furnished house with several antique pieces), she said that she would probably not have time to do an estate sale for us, that she was used to doing larger homes in Pinecrest with much more valuable items. She mentioned she may be able to consign some of the items, or find a liquidator. At the end of the meeting, Fran did agree to doing the estate sale if we could get the condo homeowner's association's approval. After we received the approval, I attempted to contact her multiple times via email and phone to proceed with the sale, and she refused to return my phone calls or emails. I find this to be unprofessional and was extremely disappointed that she did not honor word. I would not recommend her, as I feel she is a greedy, self serving individual who is only in this business for the big money clientelle.
