I contacted five companies and was disappointed throughout the process. An architect friend suggested Angie?s List so I checked out the companies on here and chose five of them. This time everything went very smoothly and two of the companies stood out. I chose to work with ASP for several reasons: 1) Salesman Michael Marrero came and gave me the original estimate and then put up with a month or six weeks of constant email questions and concerns. 2) There was a slightly less expensive possibility but ASP products are all manufactured by TM Windows so the look and operations were the same across the different types of products we had installed. 3) Additionally, ASP let me pay for the whole thing on my credit card, thereby earning 40 thousand flyer miles! (big smile). The installation was smooth and efficient. Ruben and Robert did it all in two weeks and were very careful of our new landscaping. They also managed to leave all of our electric shutters intact and operational. (we kept them for privacy-security). In short, I chose the right company and have been rewarded with a beautiful product which dramatically improved the lighting and look of our already pretty home

Service and installation were good and punctual.

One phone call to the vendor outside of business hours. Was called back promptly. They sent a rep out to my house and explained the whole process. They helped me select the right product for my home and clearly explained the prices and all my alternatives. I was on a tight deadline they made a promise and over delivered. The installation was fast, clean, and very painless. Their team was extremely dependable and very polite. I would recommend ASP to any family or friend for their home or business.

Everything went well except for final inspection because my house is an old construction and the window height did not meet new code. However, they were more than helpful in getting it resolved and as a result I have 3 beautiful windows and door.

They were very responsible and professional. They got everything done when they said they would, and a good response time for follow ups. The customer service was excellent.

One of the hardest things to find in construction is a good door hanger and I needed two doors. One was the front entry door which had to be impact resistant and the second is a double sliding glass door that I want to change to a double French door with impact resistant rating. Since I realize the talent it takes to hang a door I was afraid to contract for both doors until I seen the quality of their work so I contracted with ASP to do the entry door first and then I would decide on the more expensive double door. Well not only am I happy with the door, but since the installation was completed I have passed final inspection from Doral Building and Zoning and also from my homeowners insurance inspector. These guys are super! Other than the fact that we had to wait for a couple of months for the installation, we will not get anyone else to do our windows from now on. The degree of professionalism and expertise ASP windows staff has shown to us, is second to none! It is customary, after we did some research on window and door contractors, for the job to take at least a couple of months. For those members that are looking for a fast installation, take a seat and be patient! Of course, it depends on the size of the job and the production time from the manufacturer. The lag time is not the contractor's fault, but the manufacturer's since there is so much demand for impact windows and doors here in south Florida. But if you want peace of mind, security and you live in hurricane alley, impact windows and doors are the way to go. The staff, starting with Mike, the company salesman and representative, were superb! Once Mike came and gave us the estimate, the owner Jonathan came and took the measurements himself to make sure the job calculations would be in perfect order. Once the installation started, the demolition crew did a surgical removal of the old windows and doors in one day! The covered all the furniture with plastic sheath and made sure not a grain of dust was left behind. The practically cleaned the whole living and dining area with a vacuum and took all the debris with them. That same day they installed the doors and the next day they did the windows. Eduardo and Joel, did the best finishing and plastering better than Michael Angelo himself! They treated the french doors better than the Sistine Chapel! The finish was impeccable! Last but not least is the constant supervision of the installation by Jesus Miranda. He was calling and coming by almost on a daily basis, constantly calling us to make sure we were satisfied with the installation. We had some problems with the french doors hardware since the colors didn't match. Jesus jumped on it right away, and made arrangements for the manufacturer to send a representative to our house and the hardware was changed in an expeditious manner. I can,t say good enough things about ASP windows other than the fact that if any member needs windows and/or doors replaced, don't look any further! Hire these guys and you will be 100% satisfied and sure that the job will get done in a highly professional manner! Great job guys!

Let me start by saying that it is difficult in todays world to come across a company that is so customer service centric as American Storm Protection(ASP) is. I myself have been in the customer service industry for over 25 years and I can tell you that the management, sales personnel, and installation crews at ASP excel in all of these areas. I contracted ASP to replace my front door as the existing one was poorly installed by the previous owner and it was no longer secure. The quote was extremely reasonable for what I was getting which was a fiberglass entry door with a hurricane impact rated oval decorative glass. The door speaks for itself but the service and installation were even better. The crew arrived on schedule and they had everything required to install the door, perform on site adjustments, molding cuts, nailing, screwing, caulking, etc. Everything required for any type of door installation was readily available on their truck. They maintained the work area clean and were constantly removing debris. They were courteous and extremely thorough in their installation. I had nothing left to do after they left but to enjoy our beautiful new door. The President of the company, Mr. Jonathan Rodriguez himself called me about 30 minutes after the crew left to ask how everything went. He wanted to make sure that I was satisfied to which I clearly responded "YES". It is so difficult to find companies that take pride in their work and provide quality results but ASP has proven that they are re-setting the bar for a quality product, excellent customer service, and great pricing. I am now going to work with them on getting the windows and patio doors quoted and replaced with impact rated products. I am definitely using ASP again, and I recommend them to friends, family and most of all to anyone that is looking for a professional and customer service oriented company.

I began my search for a reputable impact window and door company in June 2013. I started my search by selecting 3 of the highest rated companies that Angie's list had to offer. All the companies that I met with all had pretty good presentations, but one company stood out the most and that was ASP Windows & Doors. I spoke to a young lady by the name of Yesenia who immediately scheduled me to meet with one of their salesman that same week. The day of my appointment I received a call from Chris Pouridas 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment notifying me that he would be at my home within 15 minutes. Sure enough, Chris arrived within 15 minutes and arrived before the scheduled appointment time. The prompt response, professionalism and punctuality I received from this company was not only great but it was consistent throughout the entire process. Chris was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning to the end. He educated me on the various products that his company carried and was able to provide me with a detailed quote by the very next day. I then scheduled an appointment to meet with Chris at ASP's Showroom in Doral. I was able to see the products that I was purchasing in person and had no doubts when making my selection. His quote was not only competitive with the other quotes that I obtained but he included the removal of my existing shutters for less than what the other companies were charging me and included the stucco repair as well on the existing holes from the shutters. Throughout the process I dealt heavily with ASP's Project Manager Jesus Miranda. Jesus was also very easy to deal with and always kept me up to date on where we were in the process. Jesus was responsible for coordinating the delivery of the materials, scheduling the installation and making sure I was satisfied with the finished outcome of the project. I ended up purchasing TM Florida's Best Windows & Doors and I am absolutely satisfied with the performance and the look of my new windows & doors. My project consisted of Horizontal sliding windows, fixed windows and casement windows. The installation and all of the finish work completed by ASP was outstanding and beyond my expectations. I would definitely use this company again, recommend them to friends and family and most of all recommend them to anyone that is looking for a well rounded, professional and customer service oriented company. Let me start by saying they are very professional and that's why I am overall rating them a "B" grade. Price kept changin due to their assessment mistakes and that's why I decided to hire another company

Project involved the installation of 10 impact windows and an impact front door. ASP was easy to deal with and very punctual. Chris Pouridas was our salesman, his follow up, customer service and overall knowledge of the products is the reason we decided to go with ASP. He worked with us to revise the agreement so that we were more comfortable with the terms of the project. Our Head installer was Rigo and he was one of the most upfront honest contractors we have dealt with. He went above and beyond what he needed to do, and even fixed a few other things for us in the house for free. They also made sure to keep the place clean and took the necessary measures to protect our belongings. If you are installing a new front door, make sure your entire living room is covered as the amount of dust is substantial. In addition, they were kind enough to reinstall all the blinds. I would definitely recommend ASP and would not hesitate to use them on future projects. *This was an expensive project but I do not wish to share the cost.

I could have not asked for a better experience. I can honestly say that it was the most positive experience I have ever had with a contractor. Jonathon who I met at the home show was very professional and honest and explained the process and provided with detailed expectations. Natalie who works in the office was so helpful and also took the time to explain and provide all the options available to me as i made my decisions related to hardware. Jesus took over after Jonathon and made sure that everythng went smoothly throughtout the process. If there was a hiccup Jesus was there every step of the way. He would call me and keep me in the loop at all times. I was not use to this as all my other experiences with contractors I am chasing them for answers. The install team lead by Yasamani were amazing. I felt 100% comfortable leaving them work at my house while I was at work. They are extremely professional and hard workers. Even coming on Sunday to replace missing window screw covers. The Windoes and doors look amazing and you can tell they are the highest quality. I am completely satisfied with the team at ASP and will use the again when I get ready to change out the windows on the second floor.

ASP responded quickly to our request. Chris Pouridas came over and spent a considerable amount of time explaining the options and enlightening us on the Hurricane Impact specifications and requirements. The very next day he provided us an extremely detailed and very reasonable quote for the entire house. We accepted the quote and signed the agreement with ASP. ASP took care of contacting the HOA, and arranged for the Miami-Dade approvals. After about 1.5 months of getting these approvals the windows/doors were delivered. The installation started immediately on Tueday and ended by Friday afternoon. Rigo, the head installer, performed the work and also monitored the others on his team doing the work very carefully. In general I feel the installation was done very carefully and would be durable long term. I am also glad that we decided to go with the TM product, it has very nice asthetically and feels very sturdy. Overall ASP Windows & Doors delivered on their promise, showed outstanding customer service and communication skills and I would definitely reccomend their services to all of my neighbors and anyone who is seeking a top of the line window and door replacement company. Two crews instllalled 14 windows in two days. Everyday they cleaned the work area. Any concerns were taken care right away.Ulises our salesman was involved through the whole process making sure the windows met our expectation up to the inspection from the town.

Installed a quality product, at a good price, and on time and with no hassle Chris is a true professional with extensive knowledge of the products that he sells.

They were a little slow to respond in the beginning, but once in contact we had no problems.

Although ASP was not the cheapest, their prices were certainly competitive. We have decided to go with American Storm Protection not only because of their selection of impact windows, but because of attentiveness of our rep, Jesus. Update: 5/9/14 Smooth process. Unlike many companies who "forget" customer service once the contract is signed, ASP was such a breath of fresh air. We were kept informed of each and every step of the project. Customer Service A+ When it came time to the do the installation, the installers very neat and detailed. They finished the project even sooner than expected! Not only was the project completed in a fast and expedient manner, our home was left in good order. Best of all, everything passed inspection with flying colors!!! For those of you who live in Miami Beach, you know what a nightmare it is to do ANY kind of construction. Between the long permitting process and the lackadaisical attitude of most contractors, it's frustrating, to say the least. We called several different window dealers. We have a very challenging situation: an old, concrete building in the deco district, that desperately needed not just new windows, but hurricane proof ones. Many contractors didn't even call us back, some don't want to do business on "the beach" because of the city permitting process and others just don't care. ASP called backed immediately and not only made an appointment in the next few days, but showed up on time, and called before to confirm. This was a long learning curve for us on the types of windows available, length of time to install, etc.etc. Both Jonathan, the owner, and Ulises, his wonderful foreman, guided us through this so that we could get windows that would work at a price point that we thought was appropriate. It definitely took a long time, as the windows have to be custom made, etc. etc. Jonathan got the city permit quickly and once the windows arrived, everything went smoothly. His workforce is excellent. Talented craftsmen, wonderful, polite and professional people. At the end of one particularly messy session, one of the guys even washed the floor!!! And through the several weeks, Ulises called and kept us posted on what was happening. We are just delighted. They are very responsive and wonderful to deal with Although their prices were a tad bit higher than others, I am so happy we used them. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants real professionals and would use them again in a minute. Don't waste your time calling anyone else.

They came and installed, no fuss, no mess, done!

Chris was very professional and knowledgable. He was always very punctual and quick to answer emails. Unfortunately, we decided to go with a brand that he doesn't carry. Otherwise, we would've hired him for the job. I would highly recommend ASP for impact windows since their customer service is outstanding.

Chris was our salesperson and we felt that he was knowledgable and honest. When work began, the crew showed up early and were able to install all 11 windows in one day! We were amazed by the punctuality, especially in Miami, and the professionalism. All of the finishing work was completed in a day as well. From start to finish the job took 3 days (with one day in between the two work days). Jesus was in touch with us throughout the process, keeping us updated. Yasmani was in charge of installing the windows and did great work. He also returned in a timely manner to address two tiny issues that we noticed. Overall, we are thrilled with the work that ASP provided and love our new windows. We would absolutely recommend them and actually already have to several close friends looking to begin the process of replacing windows.

ASP bid the replacement of our windows and doors at our home on Miami Beach.Chris Pouridas, the sales manager, was professional and courteous, prompt for our meetings, and did a thorough job of analyzing the job and our desires. We used another contractor based on product, not price or Asp's qualifications. We look forward to working with them on other projects in the future.

We live in Coral Gables, which is a city with strict architecture rules. ASP doors was able to exchange our old door for a new, hurricane-resistant impact door. The whole process was in their hands and went quite smoothly. Everything from the drawings, the permits, the inspections, the installation and a special request to sink the threshhold. The door handle was a special order and Ed installed it, and showed us how to use it (keypad entry and passage lock features) and how to change the combination. The company employees showed up when they said they would, performed the services we contracted and kept me informed of the process. Thank you ASP! Our curb appeal has increased with our new door!!!

Initially, our project was to only replace our condo's doors/windows with impact ones. We foung ASP on Angie's list, visited their showroom and found a model we liked. Good choices there, and the communication and initial bid went smoothly, we felt ASP was knowledgeable and responsive. Our project then ballooned into a major renovation and we hired a contractor for that, who ended up wanting to hire his usual window subcontractor. So in the end we didn't use ASP for the project (their bid was in the same ballpark). They were really patient with us (the project suffered multiple delays due to condo procedures, and each time I would contact them, they would pick up from where we had left off) and I'm sure they would have done a fine job.
