When choosing the right company you have to do lots of research. There are various kinds of hurricane impact windows and doors, and it's not only the product itself but the company installing them that truly makes the difference. Before deciding to go with ASP, I received various quotes from other reputable companies. Chris's knowledge was commendable and we enjoyed his presence. After comparing quotes we decided to go with ASP. They were not the cheapest, but we were confident that they would get the job done as we hoped for. I can honestly say that this was the smartest decision that we have made. Chris and the crew of ASP really made this experience a pleasant one. I was even told by inspector that the job was flawless. The installing crew was very nice, hard-working, and an added bonus was that they cleaned up nicely. Chris was in constant contact with us throughout the entire process from start to finish. I highly recommend this company to those in need of their service. My husband and I have come to learn that what comes cheap comes barring a larger cost in the long run... We enjoyed getting it right the first time. ?

The total job took a little longer than originally estimated, but was completed to my satisfaction. We had an issue with one of the windows, but the manufacturer sent out a replacement and it was changed out within the week. The installers knew what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves, leaving very little behind.

This review is way overdue; as the contract was signed in July and the work was completed in September of 2014. I cannot say enough positive words about ASP. From my first contact in July with Ulises to the last in January (I cannot remember the gentleman's name) everyone was very cordial, helpful and willing to go the extra mile for me. They came out and measured and answered all my questions (some of them several times) to my satisfaction. We decided on V & V windows and doors. I purchased the slider style windows. ASP called when the windows and doors were ready and an installation appointment was set. The installers arrived on time and completed the installation in 1 1/2 days. They put plastic sheets over my furniture and swept up the dust as they left each room. I later had an issue with the lock on the front door "sticking" and they came out each time I called to see what the issue was. Of course when they were here the lock worked fine. A few months later, I had an issue with not being able to get in and/or out of my house quickly because the lock would stick and the key would not turn. That is why my last contact with them was in January of this year. It was the Martin Luther King holiday weekend; I had called during the week to inform the front door lock was again giving me a problem and they came out on Saturday (which is when I was available). They wound up having to call the manufacturer and travel to V & V to get replacement parts for the door lock so the door could close and lock. He was here quite late but stayed until he was sure the door lock was working perfectly and there have been no issues since the repair was completed. (technically it was not an ASP issue, but a manufacturer's issue and the manufacturer also availed himself on that Saturday night by meeting the repairman at the company so he could get the parts). My home was built in 1960 and the new windows and doors give it a more modern look. I am very happy with my windows and doors and am extremely satisfied with the service I received from ASP. .

The job got done. The order took weeks and was not correct when it arrived and there was damage done to the elevator of the building but the company did offer to pay and gave me a discount for the doors. Overall, at least they took care and responsibility over the issues.

We were very pleased with ASP windows and doors. Chris and his installers were very professional and cleaned very throughly after they completed the installation. Their products were superior and competitively priced. I have learned long ago that one should never consider pricing alone when contracting out for windows. Chris is not the "pushy" type sales manager: he listens! This was our third contract with ASP. All three were very satisfactory to us.

These guys are truly fantastic. We had them install doors and windows for over 25 openings at our home, including a custom designed and built slatted glass front door that is nearly 9 feet tall. It is absolutely spectacular. They did the work in Aug of 2014. The process began in late April with getting estimates and ideas from ASP and about four other companies. ASP was the first company we interviewed, and we got a very good vibe from them. The good vibe was further confirmed by the not so good vibe we got from some of the others. Buying hurricane impact glass is an adventure to say the least. There are so many variables and such a huge fluctuation in pricing as well as materials and the claims made by certain companies and manufacturers that it's hard to figure what's accurate, what pricing is fair, what you need and don't need, etc. Chris Pouridas, ASP's sales rep, was incredibly professional and informative from the beginning. We did not feel pressured by him and we worked through what seemed like a million configurations, designs, products, looks, etc. to find the balance between what we wanted, needed, and what best suited our situation. Chris was willing to go back to the drawing board each time and work through it with us. In our opinion this was the only way for us to drill down to the balance between budget, value and our needs. Once we had our design, the orders were placed and the manufacturing of the product began. To our surprise, the time frames they gave us were spot on and the product was ready a little before promised and the install started early as well. The install was seamless. The installers were great and worked with our schedules. The communication was always fantastic. They did their best to minimize the dust in the house, although when you're doing an entire house of windows and doors, there is simply no way to eliminate it all. My husband stayed home from the office to watch part of the install and to ask questions and these guys were great. We're very hands on when it comes to construction. They would explain the how, what and why, as they were working, without missing a beat and with tremendous patience. Without knowing a whole lot about the installation process, they clearly knew what they were doing. They didn't appear to cut an inch more than necessary. The install was very, very clean, which you could notice as they were finishing up. The plaster and stucco work was minimal, which is a testament to the care they took in prepping the openings for install. We couldn't be happier with our windows and doors. They look amazing. We also couldn't be happier with ASP. We strongly recommend them.

This is the best contractor we have ever dealt with. We have never experienced dealing with a service provider that gives one lead time, and delivers 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This is a family owned and operated company and they are a great team and work together well. Peter was our salesman. He came to us and gave us an amazing energy efficient product for a very competitive price. The windows are fantastic. The temperature in our house is very stable. Part of the reason we chose this product (CWS) was for sound reduction. It works just like they said it would and we are ecstatic. Jonathan the owner is running a tight ship. He's doing it right. The installers we're top quality. Everything is clean, they covered all the furniture and helped us remove the blinds even though almost every company we spoke to told us we would have to clear the area of valuables and remove the blinds ourselves. Every member of this organization, gave a date and time and showed up exactly when they said they would. Inspections were completed on the first try. Permitting was very smooth. We had the pleasure to work with Jesus. He was Polite and very mindful to our wants and needs. They worked very hard to make sure that we were satisfied. On the day of inspection, Jesus showed up, to personally greet the inspector. He had a lot knowledge on the subject and knew exactly how to handle the situation. The best part of this is that in construction, it never works out the way you want it to. Its always a shuffle. The manufacturer did not send a small accessory for the window... That was a Friday. Jesus showed up on a Sunday at 8:00 am . He had gone back to the warehouse to pick up the accessory which he had mentioned he stocked... Just in case, for situations like this. All in all, we're very impressed and shocked at how good this company is. From the office staff, the project manager to the installers... very impressive. They are happy, motivated people and a pleasure to do business with. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

, We met ASP at the Ft Lauderdale Home show and had been searching for new front entry doors for a while. ASP had a stylish, modern, unique approach and WOWed us when we saw them. We confirmed they could make the double doors that would fit our narrow entry, in fact we double and triple checked with them. Our old doors were removed, the new ones installed under permit with City of Plantation (VERY IMPORTANT!). Any challenges were minor, and they worked with us to swap out the door hand hardware to ones we preferred. We had friends who used the same manufacturer in FLL that ASP Windows uses - and they wished they had used ASP instead of their installer!! We will use ASP if we ever move to hurricane windows for the rest of the house...professional, clean, on time. The only negative on the doors is that they are frosted glass...and we forgot that you can't have a peephole in them :) IF you want a peephole dont get full glass doors. We dealt with Jesus and Peter, be sure to check the paperwork...they made some errors...but the errors were actually in our favor. We highly recommend ASP and have told them they can use us as a reference as well. We have the best front doors in the neighborhood now.

Installation of windows and the back door was fabulous. Perfect, couldn't have been any easier. The front door we had problems with because they had problems getting the door out of Canada. It was finally resolved and now it is finished. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

This is my second time using ASP for impact windows. The product is great, any issues that arose during install were handled without hassle. Mike M. was my salesman again and Jesus Miranda was project manager. Both were readily available by phone if needed. One thing really nice was getting a call back from Jonathan, who is the owner!!! Very pleased with end results. Recommend 100%!!! ps: the "B" for punctuality is only because the installer would state a start time each day but show up a little bit later. No biggie, work was done on time!!

After dealing with so many contractors who do not follow through, it was such a pleasure to deal with ASP. Everyone that we came in contact with was punctual, respectful and professional. Anyone can sell you certain brands of windows, but not everyone installs them in a professional manner or completes the job with finish work of such incredible quality. We had quite a bit of repair work that had to be done and stucco that needed to be repaired after the installation, and their employees did a phenomenal job. I gladly recommend this company to anyone needing replacement windows.

From beginning to end ASP exceeded my expectations. Mike, the sales rep, was friendly and knowledgeable about the products. His estimate for the job was prompt and accurate. The changes I requested to the order were quickly taken care. Going to their showroom to see the products was very helpful in making the final decision on which windows to order. Rueben and his assistant did a wonderful job installing the windows and door. They efficiently install everything in two day. At the end of each day the work area was cleaned and the old windows were taken away. From beginning to end the job took about two months and everything went without a hitch.

after finding asp windows online, and noticed the high marks on angieslist. I decided to get an estimate. Chris was my salesman. Throughout the sales process, he assist me in showing me all the options. He was very professional and informative. I visited the showroom and saw the available options he spoke of. We moved forward with a special order fiberglass door with special hardware. The product took a little longer due to the custom options but overall the door is beautiful and I am satisfied. My installer was Lazaro. He specializes in these types of doors and the install went smoothly. He's very punctual and does great work. Very happy with the quality. I highly recommend using this company and will definitely use them again for any future projects.

After thoroughly researching the market to find a reputable company, we selected American Storm Protection (ASP). They were responsive, customer service oriented and skillful. They fulfilled their commitment within the established timelines and were meticulous in their efforts to complete the job. The installers, Randy and Michel were exceptional. They were detailed in their work making sure the windows were installed correctly. We were pleasantly surprised that there was no mess or disorganization throughout the process. Randy and Michel kept their work areas clean. Jesus (foreman) was the point person. He was sincere in his efforts to ensure the work crew completed the job within the defined time frames. Jesus was open-minded and resolution oriented in addressing areas of concern. Jonathon (owner) was exceptional. We were impressed with Jonathon?s initial presentation of his products. He was informative and very knowledgeable. Jonathon was true to his word and kept us informed along the way. We were amazed with Jonathon?s follow-up. He promptly returned phone calls and texts. Jonathon ensured the work was completed as promised. ASP did a great job!

I cannot say enough great things about American Storm ProtectionCorp. Jonathan and his team are true professionals and take the time to really get to know their customers and their specific needs. Needless to say this was a huge project and I really did my homework before going with ASP. I had gotten 4 other quotes but something about ASP just felt right and it had nothing to do with their price (which I would like to add was more than fair now that I have seen what was involved with this project). From the very beginning Mike (ASP's sales rep) was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. He was not pushy at all and really made the entire process quite easy. What I thought was going to be a very painful and complicated process (I live in Coral Gables and the permit office can be quite an obstacle at times) turned out to be seamless and required very little involvement from me. This was critical as I am usually very busy and cannot take the time out of my schedule to micro-manage these types of projects. Mike and Jesus (ASP's Project Manager) made sure all permits were submitted and approved on time. Work started when scheduled and was actually completed 2 days earlier than promised. I have dealt with many construction companies before and having a job finished early and on budget is simply not that common and very refreshing. The installer Ruben was like part of the family. I felt so comfortable with him and his crew that I was not even home during the installation as I was not able to take a week off from work to sit around and watch them install the new windows and doors. They were very methodical and took great care to not make my home look like a war zone at the end of every work day. In short ASP is a fantastic company. Miami is full of shady contractors and companies that will promise the world and never deliver. Take my word for it and don?t think twice to hire ASP for your impact windows and doors. They are always available to answer all questions and even replied to my emails at 10pm on the weekend. Fantastic work guys. You have earned yourself a customer for life.

It went very well. Jesus was very responsive and talked us through all the steps to the process, the door came in when expected, and the installation went well and it looks beautiful. We ordered a custom paint job to match our condo building, which was easy and turned out just right. Now that everything is done we are very happy with the outcome and agree this was worth it.

Called ASP in May 2014 and visited their office to discuss replacement of 10 residential windows with impact windows. Office visit with Ulises Velazquez was pleasant and informative as we discussed options and budget for the project. The office showroom had several options of impact windows and frames and we discussed in length the warranty options for each. Ulises was willing to provide references for further research and we made arrangements for measurements to be taken for an estimate. Upon receiving the estimate, I had several questions regarding samples of various window tint colors and low e glass shades to combat the direct morning sunlight and heat issues at my home. I then arranged a second meeting with Ulises and the owner Jonathan Rodriguez to discuss these issues at which time they ordered samples of each shade of tint and glass type from the manufacturer that we discussed so that I could make an informed decision before moving ahead. ASP worked with me to answer the morning heat issues and after a few days, we resolved the questions and moved forward with a contract. Windows were ordered and arrived within the time frame promised. I was in contact with Jesus Miranda to coordinate the installation which was what I was dreading the most in this process. I was assured the crew would be clean and efficient which I didn't believe. I was sure I would have to clean up behind ever step they took and correct numerous small mistakes since I am very particular about my home. To my surprise the installation only took a few days and the crew was more than happy to carefully assist in moving furniture, window shades or curtains during the process. The dust was minimal and they left no mess behind since they were careful to protect the areas by covering for dust and replacing everything whine they were done. Don't be fooled, there is touch up painting and minimal patch work you will need to do after any major project but this was much easier than expected. Now the project is complete and ASP has followed up to make sure there are no problems, leaks or complaints. There have been no problems and although the cost was higher that I originally planned, the security of impact windows and reduction of outside noise was worth it to my family. I hope to see the cost savings aspect from the energy efficient glass in the future but it's too soon to judge that yet. The ASP Team was a pleasure to work with and were true to their word. They were professional and efficient making this project a success. Very happy with the team and recommend them highly when you're ready to upgrade your windows.

We hired ASP to replace all of our windows and doors. They surpassed all of our expectations. Not only did they provide us with top quality products, they provided us with a great deal of professionalism and great customer service as well. They worked at an incredible pace on our time sensitive project, and were able to get the job done. The ASP team was always willing and available to address all of our questions and needs. We would reccommend them to anyone anywhere without thinking twice. We look forward to working with them in the future once more.

He just makes sure you understand what he's saying and he also let's me know if I didn't understand to come down to their factory to see how it was going to be made. I didn't go to their factory. They never gave me an itemized list like I asked.

We hired ASP because of the great reviews we read about them through several websites. It was a pleasure dealing with them from beginning to end. Jonathan came by and explained all of our options thoroughly. He was very patient in going over all of our options for front doors and at the end we decided on his modern style aluminum door. He was able to break down our quote into parts which no other company wanted to do. When it came down to installation, Lazaro arrived by 8am and he had are door installed and complete with interior molding by 1pm. He paid so much attention to detail and he clean up right after completion. It was actually surprising to hear from him that he's been with ASP for seven years. From our experience, most construction companies juggle installers all the time. ASP is definitely doing the right thing in this industry. We are very pleased with the end result. We were only able to do the front door for now but we already know who to go with for our windows. If you are in the market for windows and doors, I advise you to look no further. They will take care of you every step of the way and you will be amazed with their customer service, product quality, and workmanship.

I met Johnathon four years ago. He was recommended by my neighbors and since then we have become good friends. Johnathon has been over to my house 5 times to give me estimates. He always has an enthusiastic smile and lots of patience. After 4 years of saving, I was finally able to afford my impact windows and I chose ASP Windows because of Johnathon's dedication, sincerity and professionalism. Johnathon and his crew were very attentive to my wife, and my concerns, when it came to the installation of the impact windows. Upon completion, we were so happy with the final product. We did not want Johnathon and his crew to leave. Johnathon and his crew, especially Michelle his crew boss, made sure that everything was perfect and clean to our satisfaction before they left and concluded the job. I strongly and highly recommend ASP Windows if you care for quality products, professionalism, and a true friend. I promise you will be very happy at ASP Windows.

Upon moving into my new house, I was looking to install some windows and a front and garage door. I called 3 different companies and interviewed all 3. I am not the easiest customer as I like things done a certain way which I mentioned to all companies. ASP had the best response (thats the way we like to work as well) so I went to their warehouse to check out materials. At the warehouse, I meat Chris (senior sales). Good group of people. My sales rep was Mike Marrero and knew his product well. He showed me different options and we made our selection and were underway. I live in the Gables so the permit process is a bit longer than normal but he kept me informed along the way. Once work began, it went smoothly. Jesus was my project manager. We encountered no issues with the windows or garage door. However, my front door posed a problem. The frame had to be removed. Jesus contacted an expert carpenter who did phenomenal work. All along Mike said, we will take care of you

Several things went wrong: - Almost 3 months since contract signed until installation - too long. - The day of the installation the door that was delivered was too small (bathroom size). The correct size door was later installed. - The glass over the door has the shape of an arch. The glass installed by this company is irregular and crooked. - This company installed the door and left. They were supposed to contact us to finalize the frame and painting and despite multiple calls from us they never did. Mr. Jesus promised multiple times that would contact us to finish the work and we have not heard from anyone in almost 2 months. The result is that we have new door with a crooked arch surrounding by grey cement and no frame in a historic colonial house. I will never use this company again and I discourage anyone to use them.

We contacted ASP on several occasions. Their staff were friendly and attentive. After stopping by the showroom, we really wanted to work with them. But even thought they assured us we were getting. A great deal, we find a better price else where. A family member also quotes with ASP and found the price too expensive.
