+ 0 moreThe reason for the Sealoflex roof is to have better draining and to be able to replace a broken tile individually without destroying the roof deck. Expandable grout should have been used so that the grout on the roof could expand and retract, therefere not tearing the roof. They did not use proper grout nor install the tiles correctly. When we had a problem, Architile wanted to blame everyone else involved. Eventually, their insurance paid $10,000.00. This is a fraction of the cost for repairs, as the full roof and deck has to be replaced.
Description of Work: For Master bath, they ordered $1,000.00 more glass tiles than needed. They measured incorrectly and we were stuck with extra unneeded tiles. They refused to attempt to return. They were supposed to install tiles on a Sealoflex roof deck as per architectual plans. They used inferior tiles. They installed the tiles incorrectly and used they wrong grout causing the roofer to void the warranty on the roof.
