Description of Work: Emo is the best. Honest, high quality work and the guys working for him are excellent. They did everything from painting inside and out, a remodeled bath with fab tile, electrical plus roof repair. Now that it is finished to perfection I miss Emo and his team.

Description of Work: We are now at the intermediate stage of the bathroom renovation. Emo has taken me to numerous showrooms, Home Depot, etc. He has been very creative and patient in understanding my vision and contributing his design skill and practical expertise to make this project work. Note: we also hired Emo six-seven years ago. We were happy. Updates to follow, confident all will go well.

Description of Work: Mr Vargas came on time as promised, he did our neighbors roof and I hired them to do our roof. I would highly recommend him for other services.

Description of Work: I called "emu" and he returned my call almost immediately. He was at my house the next day and I showed him all the things I needed repaired. We had a leak in our foundation that caused water to seep into our house any time it rained. He also noticed more water damage that was occurring all around the first floor of our house. Water was seeping in from the outside of our house and causing structural damage that we couldn't even see. We also had a plumbing problem in our guest bathroom and some of the moldings in our house needed to be replaced. Emu was very friendly, knowledgable and very easy the get in touch with. The next day I had an estimate and the price was very reasonable for all the work that needed to be done. We agreed on a date and emu and his team were there bright and early. They worked continuously throughout the day and he would even show us the damage that the water was causing as they were working. The work was so good that I even requested that emu paint our front door if he had time....and the work was completed in less than a week. Tropical storm Isaac came and although it rained all day, there was no leaking. I was extremely satisfied with emus work, professionalism and attention to detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone and plan on using him for any more work that needs to be done.

Description of Work: I am very please with this company and his crew. They were very efficient and showed up on time. I consider him to be a very good roofer. I even asked him for business cards so I could pass them out to my neighbors. I would certainly call them again in the future.

Description of Work: I needed to install a microwave in the kitchen and connect it to outside venting. The hole and connections to the roof where in the wall but not in the right place. The work required to relocate the opening in the wall to match the fan holes in the back of the Microwave. I called Amercias Best Home Improvements contractors to relocate the hole and intstall the Microwave. They quoted me $150 for the work. Mr. Eufemio Vargas came to my home right on time calling me ahead of time for the visit. He discussed the work he would do and brought with him the person who would do the work. His name is Elsniel. They appeared to be good. I decided to go with someone else recommended by the company that sold me the microwave and who does the installations for them.

Description of Work: In June 2009, Emo did 2 flat (leaking) roof sections totalling 700 sq'. Removed existing surface & replaced rotted wood & flashing & re-roofed. He gave me a 10 yr waranty. In May 2010, the roof leaked into the kitchen & he immediately came by. It was determined that water was leaking behind the flashing. He not only repaired the flashing, but his men removed over 100 sq ' of embossed tin ceiling + replaced wet drywall + insulation in the kitchen. They then re-installed the tin tiles to perfection (this had been the part that most concerned me). Painted where need be & cauked many of the seams of the tin tiles so that they appear seamless. Since he had given me a warranty a year ago, he did not charge me a cent for these repairs, which took 2 men about 2-1/2 days.

Description of Work: They replaced some soffit and cut out the rotten wood. The repaired a screen door and put in three doors.

Description of Work: Found roof leak. Repaired with new tiles. Fixed other roof area. Added gutter and downspout. Cut out damaged area of bathroom ceiling. Fixed and painted...3 coats. Cleaned up mess. Repaired lawn chair (no charge).

Description of Work: Replaced large window with smaller one, blocking bottom with cement blocks. Finishing with cement and plaster to prepare for painting.

Description of Work: Repaired the wall above the kitchen cabinets, removed old lights, plastered and painted, replaced outside light fixture, replaced dimmer switch.

Description of Work: They sealed our roof and installed some doors and did some fence repair.

Description of Work: I tried to call the company three time today. The answering machine came on and I left three messages and as of 8:30 pm if have not received a call back. At 8:30 pm I also tried to email the address given and received a message back the the mailbox in unavilable. I wanted to use this company because they were licensed, bonded and insured. But now I will try and call someone on your list.

Description of Work: The house fence needed various repairs after damage caused by the latest hurricane. I had a gate sealed and the door of another gate lifted and repaired. Slats around the perimeter needed reinforcement and some had to be replaced.

Description of Work: THEY REPLACED TWO OF OUR BEDROOM DOORS AND THEY DID A TOUCH UP ON THE PAINT ON OUR BATHROOM WALLS.
