My experience with Amadi Roofing is and has been a nightmare it took Alberto over a year to complete my roof, the numerous excuses given, you could write a book, he didn't have the funds to purchase the tiles for my roof of course this was not disclosed up front so the initial tiles chosen had to be changed because of the time frame to receive them, I now have issues that need to be addressed under the roof warranty, My experience is either he won't answer the phone or informs me that he is extremely busy and doesn't have available time to come out to the house. I would tell you to avoid this roofer at all expense, he is not creditable.

Alberto Padron from Amadi roofing is a TOTAL scammer. We signed a contract with Alberto to fix our roof (which was leaking) and paid him half the amount as a deposit. Every week, he would tell us he would be by to start the project. At one point, the leak got so bad, we called and texted him and he finally came over to temporarily fix the leak. However, he caused a new leak. This went on another couple of weeks but the roof was never fixed. We called and texted him numerous times and each time he said he would be over the next day. Months later, he finally verbally admitted he was unable to complete the job and would return our deposit...obviously that did not happen. Do not trust this guy!! We have filed a complaint and have taken legal action.

Description of Work: The owner Alberto Cid said he was going to do a roof repair. Because it was a small job we did not have to pull a permit. He offered a 3 month warranty. I paid him, he claimed that he did the job and left. When the roof leaks continued days after the job I called him. He lied continually about when he would come out and never showed up. I called another company to inspect the work and they stated that Amadi had done absolutely nothing, They completely stole my money. Please do not deal with this company and take this review as a warning !

Response from AMADI ROOFING INC
Member called our office on 9/17/10 complaining of leaks that developed to the fourth floor apartments “due to the tenants going on the roof, partying, & causing damage” as stated by member herself. Since Amadi Roofing installed the roof on this bldg. six years ago for her father, I decided to go myself & inspect the damage: I saw broken beer bottles, counter flashings ripped off the parapit walls, roof punctures in several places, etc. I explained to member what was done to the roof and that it needs to be serviced so that the leaks on the roof surface would be corrected. The 5-year warranty on the new roof had already expired and so the member agreed to have the roof serviced for $800. Five days after the roof repairs were done, member called that there were 2 apartments on the 4th floor leaking by the east windows. I went the next day, inspected the roof and walls along the outside parapit walls and found wall cracks 3’ below the parapit wall extending to the window on the front and rear apartments. Both apartments had broken glass panes that appeared to be loose and broken outward. I explained the problem to the member and that we do not work on wall and windows, especially 50’ high. Next day, she called and asked to have the roof checked again. This time, I brought along a field advisor and he reached the same conclusion: the bldg. is over 60 years old, the walls are cracked and leaking over windows. We informed the member of our findings and she responded with threats of “making [my] life a living hell and to start with, [I] was going to be visited by two police cars tonight.” The police did indeed show up at my house, not my business, my house. The member had told them that I stole $800 from her, not that it was payment for roof repairs. They left rather quickly after I explained the facts to them. I have read her complaint and there’s no merit to her argument against me. The member needs to have her cracked walls and windows repaired, which doesn’t involve my company. Amadi Roofing successfully completed what we were contracted to do, which was to repair the leaks to her roof, not the cracked walls and windows.
