Airguide Air Conditioning Co

It went great as always with Airguide (sometimes listed as Air Guide). I can depend on them to be friendly; know what they are doing; available, and with services priced fairly. I have need of no other air conditioning company and have never had a bad experience with them, which is not true of several others who got my business for a while with promotions.

Our package unit A/C was failing to cool, and we called Airguide, with whom we had previous good experiences. An experienced technician was able to come diagnose the problem later the same day. The A/C was thoroughly frozen, so much that the coils could not be inspected for cleanliness. They said the unit should be left off until the block of ice surrounding the coils had time to melt. The primary reason, we learned, for freezing up, is a dirty air filter, dirty coils (either of which restrict air flow), or undercharged refrigerant. After allowing the unit to become free of ice, and replacing the air filter (though the thermostat was not prompting me to do so, it is probably a good idea to replace disposable filters more frequently in the summer), we have been able to run the A/C normally with no more problems. Airguide has been around for over 50 years, their people are friendly and honest, and they know what they are doing. I had used some other companies more recently because they offered specials, but ended up with an uneasy feeling about their work or pricing. I will be sticking with Airguide from now on.

They were very good and I would rate them highly. They were very responsive.

I am really happy with the service I received from Airguide A/C. He even cleaned out my outside unit while he was here and even changed the filter for me. He was polite and on time and that says a lot about a company to me.
