+ -1 moreAgustin arrived with an assistant and proceeded to chisel the wall to have access to the pipe. He then sawed off the old valve and replaced it with a new 1" lever/ball valve. It was slow going and took him several hours, but he got it done. However, the pipe was left exposed and I'll have to buy some cement or stucco to cover it up again.
Description of Work: Agustin replaced the main water valve outside of the house. The original one with a knob broke, when I shut off the water, and wouldn't open. Since the main water pipe was partially embedded in the wall, Agustin had to chisel the wall around the pipe to gain access, then saw off the old valve and replace it with a lever/ball valve.
