Mr. Sanchez did a great job. He is professional and always does excellent work. I highly recommend Mr. Sanchez, he is a real find.

Fair Mr Sanchez is punctual. Again I think a lack of proper communication was a real problem. The wood walls were removed and replaced within a 2 days with the help an another person. There were not enough nails in the wood structure, he seemed to be frustrated when ask to put more nails in it. He could not locate the studs and kept creating unnecessary holes in the new wood. The trimming was left over wood (bits and pieces)and trim is incomplete to this day, He did not trim around the door as it was before, the new door panel had excessive big gap --not cut properly. He replaced a 6 by 24 in wood floor in the process of that job he chipped my concrete step with large gap and failed to repair it. He started to let me know on the 2 day that it was costing too much, on that note I let him go., I also step on a left over piece of wood with a nail in it--thank you very much, very dissapointing!. Since the job was really never finish and requires some else to finish it, an overall D is fair, maybe this job was not his cup of tea.

For the first job, the doors were in horrible condition, with rot on both sides, and in a number of places on the doors and frame. I was not sure he would agree to take it on. But he drilled out the rot and filled them with the silicone. I won't say they look like new, because it's not perfect, and there is some indentation where the work was done, but judging from the condition of the doors -- and my knowledge that the alternative was to replace them this year -- I am more than satisfied that they are well sealed and protected until I'm ready to replace them. He repainted them as agreed. He warned me that they would need to be replaced in a year or two and that this would not last much longer than that. This was helpful to me, but for $300 I thought the time gained was worth it. For the second job, he followed my husband's instructions to a "T", using angled 2x4s on every other joist at particular intervals, and was very careful to avoid electrical wiring or air conditioner parts. He kept me appraised of any of deviation from our plan, explaining in advance where a board had to be installed in a slightly different way in order to fit. On his own initiative (maybe recognizing my husband's concern for detail and security), he purchased extra strong screws and used three rather than two at each end. I have an old house, where things need lots of upkeep, and I'm thrilled to have found Oscar to help. His English is limited, but his charm and professionalism are definitely not. For both jobs, he offered to come back if needed if I notice anything. (With the door rot, I pointed out a place that he had missed and he fixed it on the spot.) In general, I recommend talking to him in advance about specific preferences and expectations, to clarify the job before he gives an estimate. I can recommend him strongly.

Outstanding, as usual - Oscar works fast, clean, and very reasonably priced. For bigger jobs, he has guys he works with. Otherwise he works alone. We called him for an estimate, he came over in a day or two ready to do the work. We had to run out & buy the toilets! later, he realized that we bought the wrong hoses, and he took them back to Home Depot & exchanged them. He was done in about three hours with both bathrooms immaculately clean. I will continue to use Oscar for all handyman/general carpentry tasks. He is amazing.

I've used Oscar before for work outside my house. This was the first time I had him do work inside the house. We agreed on the price for the labor and I got the materials for the crown molding and the chair rails. He also brought along with him someone to help him do the work. Oscar is extremely punctual and takes pride in doing the work, which is refreshing. It took him 4 days to complete the work, though I believe it could've been finished sooner, if he hadn't ended his day between 4 and 5pm. Needless to say, there's some touch up paint that still needs to get done because pieces of wood scrapped against them. However, this is just a minor work that I'll probably end up doing it myself. He also did a great job caulking the pieces together and hiding any imperfections!! This is my second review of Oscar and just like the first one it's absolutely positive. If I ever need any more work done, I'll definitely talk to him first!! I would definitely recommend using him!

Oscar the handyman was great! He arrived early each day (3 days) to work on the list of tasks. It was a pleasure to have him, he was a professional along with his helper Marlin. I already have started another list and will be calling Oscar again.

I called Oscar and told him what I needed. We made an appointment for an estimate. He was punctual and did the work on Wednesday and finished the outside work on Thursday morning. He is very professional and an honest person. And you can tell he takes pride in his work.

Great! It looks a brand-new roof! Thought we'd have to get it painted, too, but the barrel tiles turned out snow-white. He also did the sidewalks and front of house at no additional charge, without my asking. He is a really refined and educated gentleman besides.

Forgot to ask for estimate 1st. Final cost was a little steep per my husband. Job took alot longer than expected b/c sink was a little different from the old one. Job even involved sanding down some of the wood underneath the cabinet. Oscar arrived at 3pm and left at about 7:30. Overall job went well--love my new brushed nickel Moen faucet and Kohler stainless steel (deep/ double) sink w/ sprayer. My old sink and faucet were old, leaky and laden w/ scum.

Everything went great and just as planned.

Initially, I contacted Oscar to install gutters for my house. I live close to country walk and I have a problem with standing water whenever it rains. I needed the water to be disposed properly. Oscar was able to come out on a Friday, which is within couple of days of initially contacting him. He gave me an estimate for the job and said that he'd start on Monday. Over the weekend, I decided to address the standing water problem also, so I contacted Oscar who came out on Sunday and we discussed a solution. Basically the plan was to dig up couple of trenches on both sides of the house and then fill it up with medium sized rocks. The size of each trench was 1ft wide x 1ft deep x 50ft long! He came out with couple of other guys on Monday and started working. Two guys were doing the gutters and one guy started digging up the trench. Installing the gutters only took few hours, and it turned out pretty nice. I asked him to install extensions on the downspouts so the water goes out where I want it to. What took most of the time was all the digging and excavating; which is very demanding and laborious. On the second day, he went out and got those medium sized rocks to fill in trenches; it took exactly 3 truckloads (back of F-150) to fill up the trenches. The whole job took 2 days to be completed. The total amount that I mentioned was for these two jobs, which I found reasonable considering the amount of labor is needed to do the digging. He also installed a PVC extension for the my AC. He suggested a pvc extension that will drain the water coming out of the AC all the way to the front of the house. This way no water from the AC would be draining in the trench that he had dug up. Oscar told me at the end that I shouldn't have any problems with water standing from here on out!! It hasn't rained that much since he has completed the job, but I'm curious to see how it would react. Nonetheless, I'm happy with the work that he has done and he seemed pretty sincere in fixing my problem as if it was his own. He also reiterated that I should contact him if there are any problems with the work he has done. I will definitely consider him first for any work that I want do get done around the house in the future; now that I know that he's a handyman also!

I called on Wednesday evening and he began working on Friday morning. He is very professional, arrives on time and is meticulous about his work. He also saved me significant money in that I was under the impression that the decorative wood on the exterior of my home was rotten. He inspected it and suggested I repair and seal the water damage with silicone, saving me a bundle. Oscar also installed rain gutters for a great price and the work is excellent. Very trust worthy and an excellent worker. Provides recipes for all materials and his work is a great value. This is my second great experience with him and looking forward to using him again. He even put up with my dog running off with his tools!

Oscar is the best. He is a one man show. He is very prompt. He always comes out right when he says he will. He takes pride in all of the projects that he does. I give Oscar all A's.

Job was particulary difficult due to the state of your pavers. The job end up been more that what was anticipated, but Oscar did a great job and stick to the original quote. Highly recommended

Had my roof painted the previous week and the painter discovered a broken roof tile that he was unable to fix( turned out tio be 31). I called Oscar Sanchez via Angie's List. I had several things around the house that I was unable to fix. We spoke on the phone and he was at my house that very night to give me an estimate. He showed up the following morning as scheduled and banged out the jobs over two days. I kept finding new repairs for hime to do and he ended up doing a lot more work than we bargained for; consequently, when the jobs were done I gladly paid him 40% more than estimated. I feel I got a great value. He does quality work and I am compiling a new list of projects for him.

Oscar Sanchez was reliable, skilled and professional. He always answered my calls, called me back and was on time or early on his two visits to my home. While he worked, he kept me posted on the progress and informed me of future improvements that should be made (e.g., there was old tile underneath the tile he was replacing and other tile would need to be replaced in the future). He also voluntarily re-caulked my bathtub. I would definitely call Oscar Sanchez again.

Simply put; outstanding! Mr. Sanchez is a true professional and the people he employs are as well. He showed up the same day I called; the very next day the measurements for the shutters were taken, and two days later they were installed in accordance to Miami-Dade county specs. Super! Mr. Sanchez showed up the same day that I called; measured the lenght for the gutters, and we agreed on a week from that day. He was there at 8 AM and by 11 AM the gutters installed. One can tell that the work is done professionally.

Without exagerating, I believe that home owners find people like Mr. Sanchez once in a lifefime! He shows up when he says he will and I trust him with my house without my wife or I being present. The job started as a simple dry wall replacement due to moisture; when Mr. Sanchez removed the dry wall he discovered black mold which would require more work than originally estimated; the estimate of $2,000 did not go up one penny. The doors he installed are perfect including the $1,300 dollars main entrance door which I would not trust to anyone else to install. After the drywall job was completed he also painted the area (normally you'd have to hire paiters separately or do it yourself); it looks like a Florida room found in home improvement magazines. At times, I think something that he has done looks really good but he finds flaws and does it again; a true perfectionist. My wife and I are very happy we found Mr. Sanchez and have also hired him to paint our house interior and exterior; he's become part of our family.
