It went very well. They took care of the permit process for us. The workers were punctual, did a good job of installing the door, were polite, and cleaned up after themselves.

The service was excellent. The workers were knowledgeable and cleaned up afterwards. I got a call after the job was complete to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Great company. Would definitely recommend to others.

The technician was very professional and performed all tasks as described in the Angie's List Sales Offer. Cost for this service is about what other companies charge. My garage door is now much quieter than before the service and I received some maintenance tips from the technician.

Besides a little miscommunication, everything was perfect. Smitty, the owner, oversees the operation and supervised the experience from start to finish (though I never met him). His crew did a great job. The quality of work is high. The garage door and opener look and work beautifully. The door itself gives me the feeling (realistically or not) that I have a bank-safe-vault style door on my home. Safe, secure, nice, new, functional and gorgeous relative to the rotten mess that they took down. Super satisfied.

When I called, Smitty asked what I needed. He then dispatched a technician, Norman, the next day. Smitty told me what time Norman would come and how he would be dressed so that I would recognize him. Norman came on time. He examined the garage door inside and out, and operated it several times. He lubricated the rollers and operated the door some more. He pointed out to me what installation errors were keeping the door from closing cleanly. The door is working quietly and much, much better. The service call was zero because I had bought a Special Deal from Angies List for $99. Norman was neat, cordial and super competent. I recommend Actsys.

The entire process of ordering and installing my garage door was great. It's literally the easiest thing I've done so far at my house and considering that we've had essentially EVERYTHING done that's saying A LOT! Smitty (the owner) and his team were wonderful to deal with. They were responsive to my calls whenever I had a question and kept me informed the whole way thru the process from ordering the door, status of permits, installation date, etc. I had a small issue with the door making a strange noise and the team came to my house, explained what the noise was, fixed it (turns out it was a small screw that was angled a little off) and then showed me again (as they had done during the initial installation) how to care for my door long term. There's nothing that i can say that will adequately describe how professional, helpful, courteous, etc this team of gentlemen have been with my family. Way to go Actsys, you're doing it all right!

There was an additional charge since the motor that pulls the chain was going bad. He made it a point to show the part that needs to be replaced. I was very pleased with that and it works fine now. It was a good experience.

Out of every company or contractor I've worked with while remodeling my new home Actsy's was the best. Great customer service, professionalism, and they even cleaned up after themselves. Even though I wasn't a big job for them I still felt important to them as a client.

The tech was punctual, knowledgeable, had great customer service and was very polite. The work was also completed in an efficient manner.

There work is excellent. They answered their phone, was on time, and had told me what their employee would be wearing and driving. The employee that showed up was great. He was wonderful and fixed everything. The owner even called me to see if I was happy and satisfied with the work. I wish other companies would do business like this.

Actysy had the lowest quote for the service, and was the quickest to reply to my messages. But unfortunately, I had already purchased a tune-up from another company, which Angie's List would not refund (even though service had not been performed), so I could not use ActSys for the job . He was a perfect gentleman on the phone, and next time we are in the need of garage door repair, we will call him. Take advantage of the legwork I have already done, and call Smitty first!

I have been calling numerous garage door installation specialists, all of whom told me that it was not possible to install a garage door on my old garage because of the odd shape of a stairway near the garage entrance. I was also told that even if a manual door was engineered it could not be permitted by the city. Actysys was able to figure out how to configure a beautiful, stylish streamline sturdy smooth running automatic garage door. They promptly installed it ahead of schedule, beautifully constructed and painted a frame and rapidly got it permitted. I was overwhelmed with their expertise and service. In addition they were able to recommend other providers to overcome other issues I was having with other problems in the house. BRAVO!

They installed a new keypad at a price of $240. A month later, the key pad was not functioning. They were unable to repair it. The repairman was rude. When he called his home office, he was saying derrogatory comments about my son in Spanish; unaware that my son speaks Spanish. When I pointed that out to the home office, they were in denial and said their repairman doesn't do that. I realized we were probably speaking to the repairman. They were unable to repair the unit when they are listed as a service tech for Liftmaster. I did contact Liftmaster. They will send out a new key pad for us to have installed and are investigating their conduct further.

I called Actsys and was able to get an appointment for the next day for an appraisal. The representative arrived on time. All information was explained fully, including various options. I did not feel pressured. A morning installation was scheduled for 2 days later. The workmen arrived at 8:15 and worked nonstop until the work was completed 3 hours later. They explained the operation and maintenance of the door. The next day the president of the company called to check that I was satisfied with the results. Smitty of ACTSYS DOOR SYSTEMS INC. responded within 15 minutes of my 8:00 a.m. post for service on Angie's List. He scheduled me for a 10:45 a.m. appointment that same day. He told me to look for a black truck and that Norman would be wearing a company shirt. Norman showed up exactly on time. He replaced the two springs (one was broken) and cleaned and lubricated the tracks, pulleys and hinges on the door and opener. He adjusted the opener and it now opens and closes smoothly. Norman cleaned up the site after he was done and I was able to pay by credit card (or check if I preferred). Overall, a very good experience. I would highly recommend ACTSYS DOOR SYSTEMS.

Smith from Actsys is the best. Plain and simple. Arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He identified what I needed and did not try to push extra products or services on me. Specifically I inquired about my garage motor. Another garage installer told me that I needed a new one because the one I had was old and wouldn't be useful for the heavier door I was going to get. Smith said that the motor I had was the best and he actually has the same motor in his house. In other words, I didn't have to spend an additional $300. Wow, amazing. The installation went as planned and all is good. He sent a thank you letter after the job was done. Don't waste your time with anyone else. Smith and Actsys Garage doors are the best.

When my overhead door spring snapped, trapping my cars inside the garage, I immediately called Actsys Door Systems. I had used them eleven years previously to replace the opener. When I explained the situation to "Smitty" he had a technician arrive at my house within an hour. I was not charged an emergency fee. He was just being responsive to a customer in need. The technician, Norman, was the same person that replaced the opener eleven years ago. He is an expert, knowledgeable, polite, professional workman. When I need a replacement opener, repair or new door I will surely use this company.
