I called several companies in the phone book and Actsys stood out as knowledgeable and professional. They came out and explained the options and provided a clear estimate for the products (door and opener). We set a date and the work was done on time and as expected. Everyone involved was prompt and professional. I have since had the company come out for basic maintenance on the opener to keep it working well and again was pleased with the service. I have recommended Actsys to a co-worker and she was pleased with the repair work they did on her door and happy that they responded quickly since she was leaving town. I have just recommended Actsys to another co-worker. I wish all my home repair experiences were so positive!

Very satisfied. They responded right away. I used them last time and they actually charged less then what they estimated and took care of the problem and they treated us right and had no problem with communication.

This company was called because the prior service organization kept pushing for sale of a replacement system that was clearly not needed. The service man arrived much earlier than expected, performed the services promptly and professionally, and the price was fair and in accordance with the telephone estimate.

I had a new garage door system installed 3 years ago and spent over $300 at the time by another company. After a few months I had to get them back because it was not working properly. They never got it to work right even though I spent another $100 a year later! I was so frustrated that I decided to bite the bullet and spend more money with another company. This time I did my research on Angie's List and I called ACTSYS DOOR SYSTEMS INC. They came when they told me they would, fixed the problem in 20 minutes, did a maintenance and did not try to sell me another opener. I waited 3 weeks to write this to make sure my door is still working fine and it is!

I checked Angie's List on Saturday morning and found Actsys... I called them at 9:00 am on Monday morning... by 9:30 am a repairman was at my house gave me an immediate quote of $150 to fix the door,straighten the track, replace the pully & cable, replace some bearings, etc. By 10:30 am it was fixed, the repairman cleaned up his work area AND, the door hasn't worked so smoothly since I had purchased my current garage door opener over 10 years ago! I give these guys my highest recommendation. I have since recommended Actsys to a number of my friends and associates including a building contractor who now uses them all the time.

I had dealt with several garage technicians in the past six years and none performed in the manner Norman, from ACTSYS did. The work was clean, correct, and to the point. I have already recommended them to several of my neighbors. Smitty was very professional, friendly and caring. He kept me informed of every unexpected delay.

First, I was amazed that someone actually answered the phone on Saturday. Second - George was at my house within 10 minutes, which is when he said he would come. He was extremely professional and I was impressed with his clean-up. After George left, I noticed that the door didn't "hit" the ground on one side. I called and he came back to the house within 5 minutes. When he left - all was well and I am a VERY satisfied customer. Even though I didn't ask for a price, because I wanted it fixed today (Saturday) "no matter what" (so that I wouldn't have to take time from work), I was extremely pleased with the cost.

They came on time and they gave us a good estimate. We haven't had any problems with the new doors.

Actsys arrived promptly on the appointed day to give an estimate. I was helped in selecting the best size, both height and width. I was advised as to what construction would be needed before the installation could take place and was given a recommendation, when asked. The contractor I hired for the construction was able to readily and efficiently communicate with Actsys so everyone was on the same page. The owner, Smitty, came to the site, also to be certain that the correct size doors were being ordered and that the preparatory construction was planned properly. It was determined my size was a special order and I was told two to three weeks. In two weeks, it was ready.

Great. They came out quickly and completed the job very quickly. My garage door does not sound like it is straining anymore and is much quieter. I can finally use my opener from the outside again.

Fantastic! It took less then an hour for Norman the technician to arrive after I had called the office and spoke to George, who, by the way was very helpful and informative.

Installers arrived right on time and spoke enough English to communicate. (Many times that is not the case in Miami). I understand they are not free-lance workers but are company employees. That's exactly how they worked. They were professional and knew exactly what they were doing in the shortest amount of time. I was so happy. The next day I remembered a question I had forgotten to ask and called Actsys. It was Saturday so got an answering machine. I knew I'd be waiting until Monday for a return call - WRONG! Five minutes later I got a call-back with an answer. Great company!

They have a manager/owner who is very competent and professional.

We called them randomly (without knowing they were so highly rated on Angie's List!) when our garage door was stuck in the open position. Smitty sent David out within an hour of our call and David showed me how a simple engineering flaw in the Sears rail was causing the inner and outer trolleys to disconnect. He fixed it easily, showed me how to do it if it happened again, did some minor maintenance and we only paid the fee for the simple service call. Within days it was happening again and again, and one time my husband and I had a lot of trouble getting the trolley back into position (our garage doors are single wood piece type, very heavy). We call Smitty and he had David call us, and David talked us through getting it closed again over the phone! We then decided to just replace the rails, in favor of a better engineered system. David came out again (EXACTLY on time!) and installed the new rails and looked at the wheel and tracks to see if they could be improved. We're thrilled.

Just as the repair man arrived, we had an unrelated medical emergency in our home. I had to give my full attention to the family member and call 911. The repair man worked independently and courteously while I worked with the paramedics. The paramedics transported the family member to the hospital, and the repair man opened the garage door as soon as it was safe to do so. I was able to drive my car to the hospital while the workman finished and checked out all the door's mechanisms. I recommend Actsys Garage Doors without reservation!

Smitty was very knowlegeable, and patiently explained the various garage door options. His installer was on time, an expert at his craft and was able to effeciently solve any unexpected problems that arose with the fitting on the door. He was also courteous, neat and cleaned up the area when he was finished. Smitty called the next morning to make sure that everything was working properly and that I was satisfied with the job. I would highly recommend this company.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY'S WORK AND THEIR PROFESSIONALISM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, BUT I THINK THE PRICE WAS JUST BIT TO MUCH.

I THOUGHT HEY WERE MARVELOUS. I DIDNT WANT TO HAVE TO INSTALL BLINDS OVER MY GARAGE DOOR AND THESE GUYS HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE. GREAT WORK WELL DONE AND IT IS ALSO ATTRACTIVE WORK. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM.
