Technician arrived close to original appointment time. Consider thaI I called the afternoon before, and requested immediate help, I was very grateful. Technician's native tongue was spanish, but he spoke to me in good english. It took one hour, when finished he reviewed in detail what he had done. He not only did the maintenance, but provided details about how to lubricate door mechanisms, and how to determine when the lubrication is need. He also covered DO's and DONTS if I notice the door or door lift motor appears to not be operating correctly.

This was the best home improvement experience I've had. I wish I had called Actsys sooner! Everyone was very professional, and the installation went very smoothly. My new door is beautiful and bright and I feel so much safer now. I especially like how well they sealed around the door - no more lizards in the garage!

ACTSYS kept us informed before and during the installation. Norman, the technician who worked on the install was professional and knowledgeable. The owner personally called us to make certain everything was done to,our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the end result.

They were handy. They did excellent work , they had a very good price and were on time. The inspection crew inspected the work and complemented it. I had the doors ordered about four weeks or so; and they could have been a little faster.

It went great. They came out right away and they fixed the problem. They did everything that they needed to do. Ours was under warranty. We have used them before and the spring broke before the warranty was up. They were very prompt. They came out as soon as possible to fix our garage door knowing that we were in a bind. They were very quick to come out and repair it right away.

I called and spoke with Smitty who answered every question I had and I had lot's. He gave me several websites to look at and helped me pick the best doors for my house. A few days later one of his guys Norman came over to measure and show me the material & colors that I chose. Norman explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it in detail. Smitty kept in contact with me while the doors were being built so I didn't have to ever wonder. As soon as they came in about 3 weeks later Smitty called and the installers came a few days later. It was a big job so it took 2 days. The installers were wonderful and showed me how to program the keypads and told me where to install it for safety reasons. 2 days later they came back to install the third door which was a double door. The installer also helped me with where I should put the hinges that I ordered for the doors to give them a barn look. I LOVED working with Smitty, Norman and the installers ( I think one was Joe ). I wish I could give them 1000 stars.

The job was done quickly and correctly. The owner provided excellent communication. The actual installer arrived over 1 hour before our scheduled time and was upset that I could not meet with him until our actual scheduled time. He went on to say that while the interior of our home was spotless, he rudely stated that our garage was dusty and any money he earned that day would go to his allergy medications, which he could not currently afford. I would definitely use this company again, but ask for a different service agent.

This is the second time I have used Actsys and it went perfectly. The price was right and the old crusty garage door that was on my property was replace with a new impact rated door which looks great and helped me earn a wind mitigation credit from my insurer.

asked to have an estimate from mr dawson, mr dawson answered my questions over the phone. worker showed up on time, reconfirmed how garage was going to look. signed contract on the spot. we set date for instilation. workers showed up on time, instalation went smoothly. very pleased with the way the garage door looks and operates. the permit was finaled the next day, inspector like what he saw.

A pleasant experience. Contacted Actsys for an appointment. A guy cam out, looked at my old door, and showed me a catalog of replacements available. It took about 5 minutes to find a door that I wanted. It's Coral Gables, so everything takes a while. A few weeks later, Actsys called to say the door was in and the permit ready. We scheduled a date and the installers showed up on time. It took a few hours, and I had a new door and opener. My Spanish is not great and the installer's English was about the same. It took a few tries, and we finally got the wireless entry programmed. I looked over the workmanship closely. A great job, no complaints. The garage ended up cleaner after they left than when they arrived. We scheduled the inspection, and that's the only complaint. I stayed home a day, and no inspector showed. There was a screw up, and we scheduled another day. The door passed, no issues. Again, good guys, good service.

Showed up on time and was able to resolve problem without replacing sensors.

I called in on a Tuesday afternoon right before 5 and spoke with Frank on the phone. He was very polite, very clear, and explained the options and prices for what I wanted. He also told me how to identify the person who would be coming the next morning, a nice safety touch, I thought. Norman came on time to the minute the next morning to perform the work. The bracket and the roller units replacements were add-ons to the job, and I was glad to have both done. The old bracket was a piece of junk, and the rollers had been making noise, but he said we could wait until they got worse: it was my choice to have them done right away to save the service charge of a separate visit. (A sell, perhaps, but a very soft one, and the door operates much more smoothly and quietly now, so I am very satisfied.) He also pointed out that the battery backup for the motor would have to be replaced every 3 years or so, and that we could find one on the internet and save some money that way in the future. We will definitely call ActSys again if we have door issues -- and we found this company through Angie's List in the first place.

We have a heavy double garage door, and 5 years ago we had the electric opener replaced. The installer at that time screwed the puller arm directly into the garage door with three self tapping sheet metal screws. After 5 years of use these all pulled and cracked the center of the top door section interior frame reinforcement. I called ACTSYS the night before and they scheduled a repairman to come fix it the next day at 9 AM. Norman was prompt and professional. He fashioned a "T" support using the top of the panel frame and center that was damaged using "L" channel and attached the door to it, tightened my springs, oiled and lubed everything, took my credit card and was gone by 10:00 AM. I am very pleased with their price and service.
