hurricane shutters

Description of Work: After several years in fear of Hurricanes in Miami, I decided to finally get Shutters. On the recommendation of a friend of mine, I contacted A E Mason. They were out to my home within a week to give me an estimate. After I made my decision to go ahead with their product, they were at my home within the week to do the installation. The men were very professional and completed the job in no time. I am pleased with the work of A E Mason and would recommend the company to my family and friends.

+ -1 moreThe company did an outstanding and professional job and they continue to back up their product. I did something stupid a year later and bent a track and they came out and repaired it at no charge. I later also changed one of my wood doors to a glass door and they installed a new accordion shutter for that within two weeks. Last year, we had them remove some of the accordion pieces on our large sliding door shutter and install several Lexan panels (Dade County approved) which are clear and you can see through them to safely monitor the storm in the back yard. I like this company because they come out when they say they will, they are competitively priced, and they back up their product. We never had any surprises with them. They did what they said they would do every time I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We had heavy steel hurricane panels that came with the house. After putting them up one time for a hurricane, that was enough for us as they were so heavy. A friend recommended A.E. Mason Hurricane Shutters. After we called, they came out within four days to take measurements and give us a price. We had other estimates and A.E. Mason's were the best. Plus, we felt very comfortable with dealing with this company as the owner (Joy Mason) is a woman and, we felt, very honest. We ordered hurricane accordion shutters for the entire house (12 windows & 2 large sliding doors). After the County permits were obtained, the shutters were completely installed in a matter of 2 weeks. That was a good thing as we got some very heavy winds several weeks later and two people closed up the entire house in 8 minutes.
