A-Able Locksmiths

They called to confirm appt. time, came on time, if not a few minutes early, very professional and very quick to do the work. Cleaned up their mess! There were two guys on my job, they were great! Charles checked my back utility door which I thought I would need a new lock but he told me some piece of plastic was blocking lock and he knocked it off and bingo the lock worked!! He could have replaced the lock but told me there was no need! Very honest!!

Cesar was great, he was about 30min late but after he came in he was very professional and explained everything to us. He answered all our questions and did the work nicely. He even worked on getting a better solution for ur fence as it had an unusual closing issue. We will certainly use A Able in the future for any locksmith services. AAA+++

The technician was professional and friendly and did the work as planned, however two days later the old deadbolt just fell out of the door. We called and set up a return visit. Cesar was the technician, he wanted us to be happy so he did the correct thing and replaced the old deadbolt with a new one at no charge to us. We are very pleased that they conducted business in this way.

I called at approximately 11 am to have the locks on my front door repaired and was told they should be able to get here around 2:30 pm and would call before arriving. I got the call and they were here at 2:30. The technician (Charles) was as professional as any service Rep. I have ever used for "anything". It was certainly one of my better experiences getting something repaird at the house.

Brand-new deadbolt locks were installed on newly-installed doors. However, the newly-made keys did not fit well. It was very difficult to lock and unlock the new doors. This is an issue, because finagling a key about, maybe, kinda 1 mm to lock/unlock a door would frustrate me...especially when the mosquitoes are out. Called A-Able. They were able to send Carlos, the next day. Carlos was professional and explained why the keys did not work. Carlos also noticed that there was a 3rd deadbolt on a 3rd door. He was kind enough to replace and rekey the deadbolt & doorknob. Now we only have to use 1 key to open 3 doors. While Carlos was rekeying one of the deadbolts, he noticed that the deadbolt did not align well with it's hole in the doorjamb. He fixed it. Carlos was professional. He worked quickly and cleanly. He did not simply do his job, but assessed the way the doors/locks were located and made sensible suggestions. It was a pleasure doing business with A-Able Locksmiths and Carlos.

I was very pleased with my overall experience. I started by going to the locksmith shop and speaking to the owner, Jason. I showed him a photo of an existing dead bolt that was broken and said I wanted it replaced with the same type of lock. He said he would order the lock and contact me when it arrived, then we could set an appointment. He called within a week and asked what day would be good to do the work. He came on time on the day we agreed on. He checked all the locks and found another dead bolt not working properly and a regular lock with a broken spring. We talked about locks and he showed me what finishes were available. He told me all the costs in advance and also reviewed his bill with me before I paid. He was friendly and professional. I am glad I checked Angie's List, and would definitely recommend him.

It was done quickly that's what i appreciate most.

An emergency required all of the locks in my home to be re-keyed and I contacted the company first thing on Saturday morning and the mechanic was at my home by 11:00am. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I would recommend A-Able Locksmiths.

Although I did not intend to repair any locks two of the door locks were giving me really bad problems and two gate locks were too. Finally one broke and then joined Angies list and found this locksmith company with excellent ratings. Cesar came out to do the repairs. It ended up that all the locks were problems. Many of them old. Cesar explained what he had to do to each of the locks and what kind of problems he was encountering with each. He had to leave a couple of times to get locks and this took time. Spent about two days doing all the work. Got rid of many keys. Cleaned up also. Tried to save me money. Again what great customer service and excellent repair.

I called this morning to ask about a problem with my front door, and an appointment was made within the hour. Charles was professional, polite and did a quality job in less than 20 minutes. I will be calling this company again for any other issues I have in the future with my doors and locks.

Steve and Robert showed up about and hour after my call. After telling them I had spares( I did not mention this initially), they came up with a cheaper alternative and saved me about $80.00. Ka-Ching!! In spite of the rainy weather they made quick work of my dilemma and explained the whole process to me. I can now breathe a sigh of relief that the home and car are secure again. Thank you, guys!

Charles showed up between the one hour time frame specified, He called a few minutes before he was due to arrive and let me know he'd be a little late. (But not outside of the agreed time frame) when he got here, he went right to work on replacing the lock, Charles was friendly and courteous. Due to an unusual thickness of my gate, the screws that came with the lock were not long enough. Charles looked through his inventory to try and find screws what would work, He didn't find any. He apologized and advised me that he would need to go to a machine shop and pick up some screws that would work. I suggested that he get the screws and come by and install the lock and put one key under my door mat and I would take the other key and put on my key ring. He agreed to that and the next day he came by while I was here and got the job finished up with-in 10 minutes.These guys are hard working and responsible adults, something that's not easy to find here in South Florida. This was my first Angie's list experience and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.Thanks

The company and Charles were fantastic!

Charles was the service provider. He was professional - he showed up quite late the first day (indicated he didn't have my cell phone number to notify me) but once on the property, he provided the service in a timely manner and returned the next day on time to install some dead bolts (he purchased ones that would match well the door knobs). He left some metallic shavings on the floor after the work on the first day that I had to clean up but overall the work was good and I would recommend him and the company to others.

Excellent. Good quality locks are an investment that will last for many years. Jason is very knowledgable about the high end product line and very practical when it comes to application. Everything he did was done very well, on time, on budget and I would certain work with him again!

GREAT! Charles was kind and explained clearly what he was going to do and what we wanted. During the installation Charles informed us "no need to replace it just change the locks" Charles also let us know that our previous locksmith did a weak job and corrected it for us.
