I called and spoke to Jason who was able to give me a pretty detailed phone quote. He also gave me a locks 101 class. It really helped make my decision process that much easier. We scheduled for the work to be done and Jason showed up on time and did what he had to do. In addition he fixed a few door handles and gave more advice. Although I am waiting on two locks that he had to special order I am completely satisfied with his work. This company was very knowledgeable, super professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again!

The original contact person was friendly and gave me a one hour window for the appontment. The service man arrived within the window after calling to say he was nearby and would arrive in a few minutes. I consider that part of the service to be extremely important. The work was done properly. He kept the work area clean. The charge was reasonable for the work done. I would use this firm again.

I recently moved into a new home and needed the 18 locks rekeyed promptly. I went to Angie's list and called A Able Locksmiths because they were recommended so highly. They did not disappoint! The locksmith, Charles, was on time, friendly, professional, and did even more than expected to make sure all locks worked smooth. It went very well. They were very prompt, they even came early. I was very satisfied with the work they did.

We have many french doors all fitted with mortise locks and custom door levers. One of the door levers broke and since they were almost 20 years old, the company no longer makes handles that fit these mortise locks. We had many visits from A Able - a number at no charge trying to come up with a solution. They ultimately came up with a creative solution by custom fabrication of metal plates to support the hole where the mortise lock had been and then putting a matching, but traditional lever set on the door. They were excellent in working with us in coming with a solution to an unusual problem.

This front door lock had been incorrectly repaired some time ago and it stopped working today. The serviceman came soon right on time and fixed the lock right away. He obviously knew what he was doing.

Called up company after checking Angie's. Jason made appointment, came on time, diagnosed situation and solved problem quickly and professionally.

I called and spoke with Jason this am not expecting to be able to schedule the work today. He scheduled for late afternoon, about 4-5 pm. Charles, who came to do the work, called around 4 to say he was on the way and he arrived at 4:30. Not only did Charles do all the work expected he also changed out part of the malfunctioning lock mechanism in my Baldwin hardware (Baldwin had sent me the new parts under warranty - the lock still worked by the thumb piece was lopsided). I had not at all expected Charles to do this extra work but he said he had to take the hardware apart anyway and it was no problem. He got it working back to normal and for no extra charge. This was incredible customer service. I would absolutely recommend A Able Locksmiths to my family and friends. I am taking their business cards to work since no one I work with could recommend a locksmith but odds are they will need one eventually. A Able is now on my limited A-list of excellent businesses in Miami-Dade.

There were no problems what so ever and it was a good experience.

The lock cylinder in the front gates was creating a problem for us because it kept turning when you inserted the key. We called A-Able Locksmiths based on the recommendation in Angie's List, Jason Estevez came the next day. Mr. Estevez tried to repair the lock, however, it was apparent new parts needed to be ordered. He was very fair, he only asked us to pay for the service call, he ordered the parts and came back on April 20th and installed it. It works great now and I feel much safer because I am not coming home (sometimes in the dark) and wasting time trying to get the gate unlocked. Mr. Estevez was very fair, he didn't charge us for a second service call and he honered the Angie's List discount. I would definitely recommend this company and ask for Jason Estevez, very friendly/very helpful.

When I misunderstood the actual pricing for opening up the door, via phone I added up the total price including $5 for each door, and I was not corrected until he had already traveled out to my house and then gave me the "new" price. Overall, the price was still reasonable and the work is very professional. The change in price left me wtih a rather bitter taste, bukt I have had the opportunity to use his services since then, and overall Jason does an excellent job, is very fair, and I highly recommend him and his company.

I called them and somebody was here within an hour. The guy that came on the service call was very well informed about the types of locks and even gave me some good options about what kind of locks I might need. He gave me options about saving money by either fixing the existing lock mechanism or by going in for another lock mechanism which I wanted. I got a 10% discount. So I paid $100. I think that was a good value.

The locksmith was prompt and professional. I contacted them on very short notice in an emergency, and they were willing to fit the job into their schedule. They contacted me a few times to let me know what their time frame was. The job was performed professionally and for a reasonable cost. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Jason was very professional and timely. He provided an estimate for what we wanted and charged us exactly that after the work was done. I would highly recommend.

I called A Able, left a message and they returned my call within 30 minutes. Charles Giraldo stopped by about 45 minutes later and tried to fix it. However, he had a problem and also had a prior commitment with another customer. So he had to leave. He returned an hour and a half later and completed the job. The bill was $85 for the service and a new knob lock and an additional $15 for re-keying it to be the same as the other three locks. So the bill was $100 plus $7 tax. Charles was pleasant, polite and left no mess at all. And, he spoke perfect English. I would certainly recommend this company to any one in the Miami area in need of a locksmith.

I called to ask for service and the company sent Charles in a little over an hour. He arrived right on time, worked quickly, was neat and polite. I'm satisfied with the work and the price.

He was very friendly and the price is very reasonable, he did an excellent job and and now I don't have any more trouble with the locks.

Installed a temporary deadbolt (didn't have matching brass in the truck) and repaired door latch on outside door. Ordered appropriate brass deadbolt and new door closer. Returned to replace temporary deadbolt and install new door closer.

I called for an estimate to replace an exterior deadbolt lock that had the master cylinder fall out. They told me I probably did not have to replace the lock, and that they could rebuild the lock on the premises for a flat fee of $75, and that they could be at my house in about in hour to do the work.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT, TIMELY, REASONABLY PRICED, AND RESPONSIVE.
