+ -1 moreI am completely disappointed with them. They lied to me. They took forever to do something that they had promised to finish in 2-3 months. They tried to overcharge me. I will not recommend them to anybody.
Description of Work: I use A-1 Fire & Electric do my building alarm and electric system. They are still doing the work. They finished a part of the work, recently. Now that the work is complete they took 11 months to complete it and 1 year to close the permits. 6 months into the monitoring contract they tried to charge us for another year. They appointed an account specialist to try and save the account and then tried to bill us for 3x the amount for the second year which we refused. After we decided to go with a new company they are taking our account to collections even though we always paid our bills on time. They refuse to try to explain the charges and we are getting weekly threatening letters from the collections agency now.

+ -1 moreThis company was very professional and really worked with us to get the entire set up done right the first time. They were very neat and cleaned up well when they were finished.
Description of Work: They wired a Jacuzzi, 2 overhead lamps, 2 light sockets, 2 circuit breakers add ons, and repaired a 220 volt circuit. They did this in about a day.

+ 0 moreThe company is very hard to work with as far as communication. We have been trying to have them finish the work for the past few months and have schedule countless times for them to show up to complete the work. Over the past month, I have schedule 4 times for them to show up and every time they failed to do so without so much as a phone call. Today I am still waiting.
Description of Work: We contracted A-1 Fire and Electrical to install a fire alarm system for a commercial building in downtown Miami.
