Overall, it was a smooth process and they were able to come out with little notice. I was extremely pleased overall with this move and the level of quality and professionalism shown. Moving is always a miserable experience and Alvino and his team made it as painless as possible.

I contacted Atlas local moving representatives A-1 Fargo because I had used them a year ago for a small move and I was really impressed with the service, efficiency and professionalism of the movers. I reached out to them and immediate was contacted by the local representative. I didn't proceed with A-1 Fargo because the quote, based on weight, was over $1,800 to move approximately 6,000 lbs of household items. The other quote I received from a second mover was an hourly rate whose initial estimate was almost a $1,000 cheaper. I chose the other mover and ultimately saved $1,300 by hiring them instead of A-1 Fargo.

It went very smoothly. I forgot to unscrew some things that were mounted in our kitchen, like a magnetic knive rack and the bracket that held our fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher was packed but not the wall mounted bracket. It would be good to remember to do those things ahead of time. There were four men packing us and they worked very fast so it was impossible to keep track of what was happening, and 'supervise' as I had expected, so it is important to have everything as organized and sorted as possible beforehand, to make it easier to find things at the other end. The boxes were all well labeled as to where they came from, however. We were very pleased with everything, and they sent us money back afterwards, that we didn't expect, because our shipping weight was less than the estimate. Very honest people.

Excellent job. The crew was very efficient and polite. They were very careful with all our items. We would definitely use them again.

They were very disappointing. They came out and gave me a quote ($15,000) saying that they can handle my move. They gave me a date and then when they got to the office a couple of days later they called me to say they could not get a truck for almost two months for the load. It turns out there a quote on top of that for several thousand dollars. Then I ended up not using the move.

Their quote was almost identical to another national company. They were reliable, coming on the dates promised and came early each morning and stayed til 5. Their workers were very courteous and professional. As we had done a good deal of the packing ourselves, they lowered the price as they had promised. They arrived to our new home on the date promised, a mere 3 days after they packed everything up in Miami. We have unpacked and found that our possessions are all intact. We would definitely recommend A-1 and would absolutely use them again for another move!

They arrived for pick up and delivery on time despite heavy rains, were courteous and professional . Thy final bill was slightly LESS than the estimate, and my furniture was packed with care.

This company is okay I guess. I think they have kept raising their rates so they certainly could improve their prices in my personal opinion. Other than that, they do consistently provide me with a safe place to store my items and they have done what they have promised. I am not sure how much longer I will continue to use them if they keep raising their rates so if they can lower their prices, I would have no major problem with them.
