Description of Work: My tenant reported some plumbing issues on Monday and a plumber from Douglas Orr was there to inspect and fix on Tuesday. They called me after diagnosing the problem, I gave them the go ahead and he fixed it that day. Convenient for my tenant and myself. I appreciated the quick response and work. My only issue was that I had to call a few times to request an invoice, which took a few months to receive. Other than that, they were great and I would definitely use them again. Thanks Douglas Orr!

Description of Work: First evaluate whether or not I could switch to an electric tankless waterheater to which they determined I could not because the service to my townhouse would not support the size of the tankless water heater required. Remove and discard old water heater. Rework existing plumbing and electrical connection to fit new water heater. Install and test new water heater. Workers were very punctual and I received a call from dispatch and the driver when they thought they might be 10 minutes late. Workers were professional, courtious and completed the work in just under 2 hours. Workers cleaned up site and removed all garbage leaving the area cleaner then when they arrived.

Description of Work: Called company, they came right away, but they charge for time from the last job to your job, which was approx 40 mins in my case. They did a good job, but I felt they should not charge for use of a snake, $30 and the extra 1/2 hour I felt was barely earned. I will try someone else next time. The sink was clogged, so he went up on the roof and used a snake to clean the vent. Probably took him 15 mins. The balance of the time was travel and creating an invoice.

Description of Work: Norman was great. He came one day to see what was needed and came the next to switch out my pump that was over heating. Norman also hooked an old galvanized tank that I had. He explained everything I needed to know for many years of trouble free service

Description of Work: We contacted this company by phone on a Saturday morning to unclog our kitchen drain. The automated message stated that their business hours are Monday through Friday. We looked up the company's website and filled out a contact form. The webiste indicated that they offer 24/7 service. We were not contacted until Monday morning. By that time, another plumber had come by the house and uncloged our kitchen drain.

Despite the fact that I live some distance from their business address their technician was here within an hour, snaked the vent, and cleaned up after his job, and was finished within 50 minutes. J. R. was pleasant and professional, and I highly recommend Douglas Orr Plumbing.

Description of Work: We had a leak in the floor. The leak was discovered and capped. A new line was ran the following day and a ressure showed that the leak was controlled. We just thought the price was a little high with a 10% discount coupon.

Description of Work: they gave me an estimate of 1500 for work to replace a broken drain. they stuck by their price even when the work became more extensive than thought. The work was performed on time, professionally, courteously, and cleanly. they found other problems which I had them complete as needed. They wound up replacing 2 sewar line sections, fixed a leaking main line, and replacing a water heater. I have used them before and I will use them again. They did an excellent job for a fair price.

Description of Work: Requested service at our condominium guest bathroom. The technician arrived as scheduled, he quickly got to work and resolved the issue within an hour of arriving. After completing the job he showed me the completed work and the bathroom was reopened. I'm very pleased with the work performed and I will most definitley contact them again for any necessary work the needs to be done to in our building.

Description of Work: Water heater in condo leaked and needed replacement. Time from frist contact until plumber working on-site: 3.5 hours. Very professional and heater performs exactly as expected. Cost was a bit more than non-Angieslist vendors, but felt the relationship worth the slight increase in cost.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with this company. The office people were pleasant and very easy to work with. I was able to make an appointment quickly and the prices were explained to me clearly. On the day of the job, they were exactly on time and got right to work. The worker. I am sorry to say I forgot his name, was pleasant and went about his job and was quick and efficient. He snaked my line out to the main line and also smaked the line inside behiind the washer. Unfortunatly, this did not solve my problem and now I am working with the company on solving my real problem - which unforunatly is a broken pipe that needs to be replaced. I am hopeful that the company will work with me on paying for this project as it will be pretty costly- a new pipe from the line to the line inside and a new pipe and flashing from the hot water heater to the roof. They assurred me they would and from all I have seen thus far- I am confident that they will. I would recomment this company highly to anyone that has plumbing problems !!!!!

Description of Work: They gave us an appointment for next day and the tech came on time, was very professional, explained what was wrong and what to do to avoid future problem, replaced 2 faucets, fixed a leak in the bathroom and replaced a pipe. Great experience.

All the services were done well and extremely professional. I have always used Doug Orr at my house going back years and I will always recommend them.

Description of Work: Plumber called to fix faulty kitchen faucet for 84 year old mother. He arrived promptly and was courteous and professional. Turned out that her dishwasher was connected to the cold water instead of the hot water. This was a surprise to us. He connected the dishwasher appropriately. The charge was for 2 hours of work and they gave her a 10% senior discount. He left the area clean and neat.
