Description of Work: The water company indicated that I was using water when there was nobody home and that we were using several times as much as usual on a monthly basis. Accordingly I had a leak. These folks came out promptly, located and fixed the leaks and charged a reasonable sum for doing so. Hopefully I won't need it, but if I do, I'll be back for all my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Roots from a nearby ficus tree had worked their way into my sewage line. Luis Duero was the master plumber assigned to the project. He was deeply knowledgeable and highly experienced, not to mention very professional. He advised me how to deal with the city owned portion of my issue, and after that was taken care of (a major project of it's own), he followed up with the section that was my responsibility. Douglas Orr management was very understanding of my situation and helped find ways to make the job as inexpensive for me as possible, while thoroughly resolving and eliminating the issue. I am deeply appreciative of their services and would recommend them highly, especially Luis Duero, without reservation.

Description of Work: We had an initial difficulty coordinating our schedules but when they did show up we were most pleased with their service. Two other plumbers gave us pricey estimates on work they determined should be done but then the technician from Orr's found the actual problem and fixed it in 2 hours. We will certainly use them again when needed.

I am now in process of working with them to schedule the repair (which will involve permitting and coordinating with a tile company) and they could not be more delightful to work with. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Glad to find them!

Description of Work: David replaced leaky hot and cold water faucets attached to the washing machine. These were as old as the house which is 50+ years. He did this without breaking the wall. I called in the morning and the plumber was there and ready to do the job that afternoon. Completed the job in an hour. Needless to say we are very pleased with this company and with David, the plumber that Douglas Orr plumbing sent us.

Description of Work: Spoke to estimator and he said he would not charge for estimate to come out to replace all of my plumbing. I got a call back from his assistant saying that they would now have to charge because plumbing estimator couldn't come out anymore and they would have to send a regular plumber which would require a service call fee. Wow. Really?

Description of Work: son't recall the costs b/c they've become my go - to plumbers for major work - they replaced the crumbling original iron pipes under my 1924 house and did a great job.
