They are here local in Miami Shores, Florida. It is family owned and run. They are very good as far as I am concerned. They are on time, do good work, and give you an honest opinion. Their prices are in the middle of the road. They are not low and not high. They are more than willing to come by, look at your place, and give you an estimate. I have referred them to several other people. I tell my friends that this is the company I use, but I also tell them to please check around for other companies.
Description of Work: I had roofing done by a company called Obenour Roofing. They did pressure cleaning of the roof and some repair work. They actually put on my roof and then repaired my roof because I had a small problem with it. So, I have been using them over the years.

Called Obenour, since its a local company & have seen the trucks around the neighborhood. Asked for an estimate to fix the leak. It was unclear when someone would come to take a look: maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Called the next day and received the same answer: maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Called for a 3rd day: oh yes, yes, someone is definitely coming! The time window was between 11am & 3pm -- this is a huge chunk of time. No one ever came. It shouldn't be this hard to give someone money. Called 2 other highly-rated Angie's List Vendors for an estimate. They were punctual, responsive and professional. What a difference a grade A listing makes!

REPLACED ROOF AS PER CONTRACT....ROOF DEVELOPED A LEAK IN 2009...GUARANTEED FOR 10 YEARS...MANY , MANY ATTEMPTS TO GET REPAIRS FAILED...REPORTED CONTRACTOR TO FLORIDA STATE CONTRACTOR COMPLIANCE OFFICE. CALLS TO ROOFER BY ME ATTEMPTING TO GET ISSUE RESOLVED WENT UN RETURNED....ALSO EMAILS THAT MY HOME WAS BEING DAMAGED AND PLEASE HONOR CONTRACT GUARANTEE......REQUEST NOT HEEDED.

He did not follow through on his contract. He would not come over and give us the time to fix the problem, so we found somebody else.

Customer had her replaced by us for $15,603.50 completed on 5/18/01 with a 5 yr guarantee on the flat roof and 10 years on the tile roof (west high section only) This home has multiple sections of roofing. We replaced the west rear flat, center flat and east flat. The flat roof guarantee expired in 2006 and the tile roof expired in 2011. Customer paid final payment of $1720.60 on 8/6/01. Permit No. 48333 with Miami Shores (2/12/2001) was finaled on 6/15/01. Customer statement: work completed in 2007 is not accurate. Building records are available online. In 2007 under permit No. 507 customer hired another contractor to reroof a area of 660 sq. ft. (not reroofed by us in 2011). This statement of work completed in 2007 was by Vinson Harlot Roofing, Inc. Her issue should have been directed to Vinson Harlot Roofing, Inc. We recall customer to be a lovely person and have no open issues with her. In fact on 4/27/2016 we provided customer with a estimate (she requested) to reroof the flat portion of her home. We provided her a estimate for $9,500.00 and a repair for the tile roof for $2,900. She has not contracted with us for this work.

Company representatives professionalism totally lacking. Communication with management virtually nil. Sloppy workers overall, many complaints, very little satisfaction. Well below average workmanship, damage to property, workers don't care about your property!! Slow to react. Company's view of clients also poor - very condescending with superior attitude - definitely not justified!! Heard bad reports from others only after job finished. Would caution anybody seriously considering this company.

Mr. [Member Name Removed], did not pay your final bill and the building inspector agreed with us on your complaints,. Supplier filed lien for 7/7/2006 (Bradco Supply) Your ladder and hose complaint were ludicrous. As is stands you still owe our company a balance on the contract - d id not receive a guarantee as payment was never received. MR. [Member Name Removed] WAS ANGRY THAT IT TOOK TOO LONG (7 months) TO GET THE ROOF TILE TO HIS HOME. BUT THE DELAYS WERE CAUSED BY THE HURRICANE AND SHORTAGE OF MATERIALS, BEYOND OUR CONTROL. AFTER WE COMPLETED THE TILE INSTALLATION - HIS COMPLAINTS BEGAN IN AN EFFORT TO NOT PAY THE BALANCE OF THE CONTRACT. BUILDING OFFICIAL WAS BROUGHT IN AND HE WAS TOLD HIS JOB PASSED ALL INSPECTIONS AND THERE WAS NO ISSUES.
