The first stage is completed and the second stage will be installed within a week. The first stage went very smoothly. The VE crew came and measured twice on different days to be sure that the shutters would fit perfectly. The first install went fine with only one hitch. One of the living room windows is so close to the fireplace that the shutter could not open. The crew took it back to the shop, cut it so that it would be able to open around the fireplace edge and re-installed it that day.
Description of Work: Vertical Express estimated and installed interior plantation shutters on all the windows in the house that face the street. They measured each window, constructed the shutters and installed them, building a frame for each window on-site. Each shutter folds open against the wall, and closes completely to reduce light & heat and thereby conserving A/C dollars. They are painted wood and only require an occasional dusting. Vertical Express is completing the project in two stages per my request.
