1. It went wrong from the very beginning. This person took only one hour to inspect a whole house (around 1,400 sft) all by himself. One hour only!! And on top of that he wasn't even supposed to inspect my house. His area is North Miami and he came down to another area (which belongs to another inspector). 2. Mold. My wife found mold (at plain sight) in one bedroom. A company estimated $2,260.00 for repair. I ended up doing it since I don't have that amount of money 3. Smoke. In one bedroom the previous owner used to smoke. Since I don't know anything about houses 9first time buyer), I thought it can be fixed with air freshener. Huge mistake. $1,100.00 to remove the smell. Although I knew there was a smoke smell, the inspector can aware me of the cleaning cost. 4. Roof leaking. Yes, that's my new problem; a roof leak and the inspector didn't see it. A company will come for an estimate. 5. Washing machine. Didn't work. At the first use it broke and all the water came from underneath 6.Other problems. Door locks, faucet dripping, toilet leaking. All these problems weren't pointed out by the inspector I send the inspector an e-mail and NEVER responded. I called the company and didn't care. I post the problem on Pillar to Post Facebook page and they didn't responded. They told me to send them an e-mail about the problem, which I did 3 times, and NEVER got a response back. Very irresponsible inspector, very irresponsible company.

We used Jacob from Pillar to Post to inspect two different houses while we were in the process of buying a new home. He was punctual, thorough and extremely informative. His written reports were both easy to read and very detailed. I particularly liked that Jacob spent time with us immediately after the inspections to discuss his findings - this was invaluable and really helped us to gain a better understanding of the written reports he forwarded us the next day. I would use his services again if needed, and would also recommend him to others without hesitation.
Description of Work: Visual inspection of home including crawlspaces in the attic and underneath the house. A written report was provided. A 4-point wind inspection was also performed and a wirtten report was provided for use in obtaining homeowner's insurance.
