I placed my service order in mid-June, 2014. I was told that I would have a "scheduler" call right after I submitted my contract so that we could schedule a time for the movers to come load. I had to call the company several times to see when I would get a call. I kept being told they would be calling soon; either on the Friday or Monday before the move. I made it known that I was paying for the truck by the hour and it would be helpful to know sooner rather than later when I could expect their arrival. On July 14, the day before my move, I called in the morning to see about a time. I was told that I would get a call around sometime in the afternoon. I got a call at 12:00pm to tell me the movers would arrive between 1-3pm on July 15. 3pm came and went. I called to see where the movers were and was told that they would call me soon. At 4:30pm I got a call by the movers (could not understand much of what he was saying) and was told that they would arrive by 5:00pm. At 5:30pm I called the movers again. I was told they were just around the corner. At 6:15pm I called again. I was told that they would be there shortly. At 6:30 they arrived to load the truck. I was paying for that moving truck to sit there for six extra hours, and had to drive all night to get to my destination. They even had the nerve to ask me for a tip! I also sent an email to their manager about their service and have received no response at all. This company is bad news. Absolutely no customer service and only lip service.
Description of Work: The provider was to have movers to come to my house and help me load my furniture onto my moving truck.

It was like pulling teeth. I was more frustrated than thankful during the whole move. I had purchased a "deal" for 3 hours of moving service and 1 hour of driving for $240. Of course there is an extra charge for stairs, which isn't stated on the deal that I bought. There is a trend in adding extra charges...The guys that showed up were on time, which is one of the only positives of the whole thing. From the beginning, the guy in charge was trying to haggle me into more than necessary things. He came into the apartment, looked at my furniture and said that he would only be able to move that and not the boxes - because there wasn't enough time. Unless I wanted to pat $140 per hour to move the boxes. He wanted me to agree that he would only move the furniture and sign something saying okay. I made it very clear that I wanted him to just get started and we would see where we were in an hour. He haggled and argued for 10 minutes, instead of packnig the truck. I was fuming at this point and finally had to get rude and tell him that the clock is ticking and to move the d*** furniture already! Luckily the other 2 guys that were with him were actually willing to move things and move them quickly. The furniture was in the truck in 20 minutes. They had plenty of time for the boxes. Of course I had to practically beg the guy in charge to do his job. So frustrating. Fast forward 2 hours later - they were able to move most of my furinute, most of the boxes and still with time to spare. But the main guy in charge didn't want to move my bed frame upstair to my bedroom or move any boxes upstairs to the designated bedrooms. The other guys that were with him were moving boxes, because I begged. I'm getting angry all over again from the whole experience. Then he had the balls to charge me for tape thathe used during the move, not even thinking to ask me if I had any. I had 6 rolls of tape!! So when it came to pay the extra bill and he wanted a tip, I explained that his tip went to paying for the tape. He changed the bill to reflect no extra charge and wanted to pocket the tip. Had it not been for the other 2 guys who actually helped, I wouldn't have given him a penny in tip. Horrible horrible experience!! Long story short - On time, poor business skills, poor job, good assistant movers, poor price quote and horrible guy in charge. I never did get his name but he had a thick accent with painted on eyebrows, thin build and bald head. I will NEVER use this company again because of that man. He made that whole day a living h***.
