Linda Wise is AMAZING!! The home has been listed for 3 months and we have had many showings. As a custom home on the river, we know it will take time to find the buyer who loves it as much as we do. She was great about: - advising us how to prep it for showing, - getting estimates for features we did not have that a buyer might want & having them available in a book for showings - keeping us in the loop after showings to let us know the feedback - suggesting pricing changes or bonuses when appropriate - having frequent open houses - using multiple marketing opportunities such as a text number by her sign so folks driving by could receive text info about the home, having a virtual tour online, having drone photos online, advertising in print media and - introducing us to her team members who helped her with marketing and also showed to buyers. So many realtors just put a listing on MLS and hope someone else will sell it and this is not the Tropical Realty way! She and her team have brought many prospective buyers through. We really appreciate her and strongly recommend you hire her also.

Horrible experience, do not deal with this company. I flew from Maryland to Florida on two separate occasions and spent and entire day, both days, with Wendy. Both visits I found a place I just loved but they had contracts. I would have thought Wendy should have known and not wasted my time looking at them. After the second visit I told Wendy if I continued making these trips I wouldn’t have the money to buy anything. I asked her if she had a feel for what I wanted and her response was “move-in ready”. The first place had been completely remodeled with top of the line everything and a pool to die for (sold for $95,000). The second place was still occupied by the owner but again spotless (sold for $95,475). Both of these places were “move-in ready”. Wendy called and said she had found the perfect place. Based on her description of the house, the pictures and Wendy’s word I bought the houses sight unseen and yes I know, it’s my own fault but seriously this JUST WRONG. The outside of the house will need to be repainted window sills painted different colors some white some yellow. The windows are also in need of replacement. The poles that support the roof of the porch were painted with the wrong type of paint – I have no clue what to do about that. It looks like a coat of primer. The metal screws in the concrete for these poles are badly rusted. The drive is concrete and has cracks everywhere. The storm door on the front of the house was poorly painted and does not close properly, and the glass is scratched. The front door must have been damaged on the outside so they nailed a different piece of wood to it and now it is brown on the outside and white on the inside. The door between the garage and laundry room weighs a ton and something was removed from the middle of it and replaced by a different kind of wood. There are two large holes in the laundry room wall that are filled with something that looks like foam. They are not completely filled and the wall was not repaired. The copper water line for the icemaker is covered in paint and was not attached to the wall it was just hanging there. I had a washer and dryer installed and when the washer was tested water went everywhere from the drain. I called the man who flipped this house about the plumbing issue and he screamed at me saying “I don’t know what you expect I didn’t counter your offer”. It took phone calls and threats to the lender, the inspector and Wendy to get this fixed. The four entry doors do not close properly; you can see daylight at the top of the door going to the porch. Inside the house are beige walls with white ceilings. There is white paint splatter on the beige paint, on the windows, the cable wire and the new door hinges and some of the paint has chipped off in places. The main part of the house has , “I believe” ceramic tile, A LOT OF IT, and the grout has not been glazed I will have to take a piece of the tile to Home Depot to see if it should have a glaze on the tile as well. Behind the stove the three prong receptacle is just hanging out of a hole in the wall. The counter tops in the kitchen are not installed properly. The sides don’t line up with the top and are longer then they should be. The grout around the kitchen sink is falling apart. In one bathroom there is a tile missing under the sink. In the other bathroom the pluming has that same foam stuff everywhere. The electrical plugs are not flush with covers and not stable. One of the light switches has a space between the top and the wall so the hole is not properly covered. Every one of the electrical plates were filthy. I had to use bleach and Q-tips to get them clean. I wanted a place with a pool that was close to the beach. Those things I got. All of the inside doors are new but the paint on the hinges takes away from that. I am 63 years old and in no physical shape to be doing all this but I can’t afford to pay others for what I can do and my nerves are just shot. The access doors to the attic spaces are not closed completely and they are filthy. I cannot climb up there to fix the problem, poor balance due to head trauma. . I checked the internet and I believe the couple who flipped this house have several aliases and this man is not a contractor from what I could find out. Wendy told me he was. Well I best get back to work. I could go on but I won't. Thanks for listening. I would not recommend a realty company that allows something like this to happen
