Description of Work: Removed all carpeting & installed a hand rubbed laminate product across the entire house.

Description of Work: Coordinated the ordering and receiving of all supplies as well as providing us the opportunity to select our granite and tile direct from his supplier. This made the process very easy and comfortable.

Description of Work: laid a waterproof vinyl plank floor in our screened room

Description of Work: Pulled out old horrible carpeting and replaced with beautiful plank laminate flooring. During the laying we found a defective board about 9 planks from where they were, and they immediately pulled up everything they had just done and replaced the board. They even went to the trouble to do "v" inserts at the ends of the quarter round, instead of just a blunt or 45 degree cut. We're very happy. Even looking at having them install some waterproof vinyl flooring in our screened room. I live in a 55+ community and gave the management some of their cards in case another resident was looking for someone trustworthy to lay flooring.

Description of Work: Florida Floors did not explain things well. The tile was delayed on two separate occasions the job was delayed on these days and other days when no one showed up and no one called us. We had to call florida floors for information. We were told that the job would take 6 to 8 days and it took over 14 days. However,the installer did and excellent job and the tile is beautiful

Description of Work: I went into the store and the owner John was very helpful. I went home and checked Angies list and was surprised to see a poor review. I went back to the store with a printout of the review and gave it to John. He said he was not aware the review was there. He said he followed up with Angie's list and was told he could refute the claim by the person who gave him an F but his score would not improve until other satisfied members who subscribe to Angie's list provided feedback. I chose to contract with him to do our floors in spite of the poor review. So far he and his employees have been great. The job is not complete yet because we have other work that has to be finished before the new floors are installed. During the tear up of the old floors, the workers saw some water damage and brought it to our attantion right away which we really appreciated. If the job continues to go as it has so far, I would not hesitate to give them an A rating.

Description of Work: 1) The company lied when quoting the material receive date without notifying or correcting. 2) The company required full payment on the order date even though the material was not a special order. 3) The material we received was supposidly listed on a hand written invoice #1292 and was not delivered or received in full. The floor material actually dilvered was nothing like the original sales transaction. 4) This company initially quoted an inflated restocking charge for refunding, insinuating the manufacturer's requirement. My direct communication with the manufacturer disproved Tropical Floorz allegation. 5) Tropical Floorz has refused any refund. We are stuck with a blotched flooring order that we cannot use. Avoid this merchant........
