Solid Rock Moving

They came with a crew and I asked if they were going to use straps when they were moving items with dollies and they assured me they didn't need them. The last item, was the marble base to an Italian made marble table and while they were moving the base, they dropped and cracked the base. Additionally they damaged a washing machine, and when I inquired about the large black streak, he said it was grease and will wash off. Turns out it was a scratch through the paint. I've made several attempts to contact the owner. They said since they didn't perform the whole move, that they are not responsible. He offered $60 for a $3000 table base, and when I requested insurance information he refused. He said he would come to my house and never showed and has become unresponsive.

I was retiring the government and moving back to Nebraska from Florida. Due to my age, I needed a company to pack my POD container for me. I had heard of Solid Rock Movers via the grapevine at Patrick AFB. I called and within 48 hours, Mr. Kellem stop by and provided me with an estimate. The estimate was lower than other estimates that I had received. Solid Rock Movers were at my apartment right on time and after showing them what was being moved and what was staying. The movers started right away and worked almost nonstop until the container was loaded (only stopping for a rain downpour). Along the way I would ask them questions on why they were stacking things a certain way, etc. Each time they answered my questions very politely and very professionally. To be honest, when I would move myself; I had been packing my household goods incorrectly. There was zero damage to my household goods upon arrival in Nebraska. This was the best move that I have every had and I have moved around the world. I believe a lot of this was due to the way Solid Rock Movers packed the POD Container.

It went well. Nothing was broken or missing. It was the first time I had used them. U-haul recommned them to us.
